Chapter 183 - GIVE ME ONE MORE CHANCE

Chapter 183 – GIVE ME ONE MORE CHANCE

"Be my Love."

Ellena was wide-eyed and immediately got up when she got that statement. Again Richard gave the punishment he should not. Ah, how could he possibly accept that punishment. She was still sane enough to include two men in her life. It seemed that it would only complicate her life.

"I'm sorry, Richard." Ellena replied, lowering her head.

"As expected. You can't possibly accept my punishment!" Richard snapped as he straightened himself and put one hand in his trouser pocket.

"Cancel all my schedules for the next week!" Richard said firmly before leaving the place and opening the door that connected directly to his room.

Yes, their workspace is deliberately designed specifically. The position is next to each other, but in order to facilitate the work between the secretary and the boss, the room has a special door that is connected to each other, although both have their own doors in the front.

"Richard, wait!" Ellena called out. However, Richard paid no attention at all and at the same time the door closed with such force that it created a commotion in the room.

Without waiting for orders, Ellena immediately got up and approached the door. Suddenly a hand rose, knocking on the door again and again slowly.

"Richard, may I come in?" asked Ellena whose heart was already shrouded in a fog of anxiety. However, there was no answer at all from the boss.

Even so, Ellena still didn't want to give up and kept knocking on the door. She really wanted her problem with Richard to be over soon and not drag on. How can she work well, if the relationship with the boss is not good.

Not to mention because of the problem with her, Richard canceled all scheduled activities for the next week. Isn't that a violation of work professionalism? Ah, It shouldn't be so fatal. However, perhaps Richard really was in a state of disillusionment at the highest level with him, so it was only natural.

"Richard, please forgive me. Allow me to come in." Ellena called again in a weaker tone, hoping this time Richard would listen and grant her request.

"Never mind, Patricia, don't bother me anymore!" shouted Richard from inside.

"I'll explain everything, but please give me one more chance." Ellena pleaded.

"There's nothing more for you to explain, Patricia. I don't want to be disturbed and don't try to see me!" Richard sarcastically gave a warning.

Ellena snorted because Richard was still giggling not wanting to give her a chance.

"Okay, if you don't want to see me anymore, I'll be out of here. Thanks for everything, Richard. I'm sorry again," said Ellena with a very heavy heart. Her expression suddenly turned gloomy.

Meanwhile, in another room, Richard looked rounded when he heard Ellena's statement. Didn't think that Ellena would make a decision so quickly. Ah, were his words too harsh, that Ellena would prefer to give up? Though he really hoped that Ellena would force his way into his room and explain everything that made him disappointed and curious.

Not wanting Ellena to leave, Richard swiftly rose from his proud chair and rushed to the door. In a flash his hand reached and turned the doorknob.

"What are you going to do, Pat—Ah, are you trying to fool me on purpose?"

Richard was taken aback for a moment, then narrowed his eyes as the door opened and found Ellena still standing in the same place.

It seemed that Ellena was deliberately just trying to bluff Richard. At least with that, Richard was willing to come back to see him.

Ellena's face shrank for a moment, as soon as she saw Richard's piercing gaze. He seemed to be getting more and more angry with her. Ah, Ellena is too much.

"Not!" Ellena denied evasively, even though she wasn't serious about what she said. However, it looks like it's already been done. Richard would have been even more furious if he knew he was only trying to threaten.

"I'm leaving right now, as you wish!" Ellena said, pretending to be annoyed and immediately turned around to take the bag that was on the table.

However, just as her leg was swinging, Richard suddenly grabbed her and grabbed her wrist causing her to turn around again.

"Go! Just go if you can!" said Richard without letting go of Ellena's hand from his grip.

"Let go of my hands first! How can I get out of here if you hold me like this, Richard?" annoyed Ellena while repeatedly moving her hand to get out of Richard's hand.

"Let go yourself if you can. I won't hold you back anymore, if you can let go of your hand easily." Richard replied, tightening the grip on his hand even more, not caring about Ellena making a little groan because of his actions.

"Ow, that hurts, Richard!" Ellena groaned as she took Richard's hand which was gripping hers.

Instead of letting go, Richard pulled Ellena into his room. Quickly he closed the door.

"Richard what are you doing?" asked Ellena feeling scared by Richard's behavior suddenly holding her body against the door. The man's hands seemed to be holding the door to Ellena's left and right, deliberately wanting to keep the woman in his arms.

"Come on, run if you can!" Richard said again.

"I'm sorry Richard. I was just joking. I'm not leaving here, but please let me go!" Ellena pleaded. Of course she couldn't even move back, considering her body was already stuck in the door.

Instead of releasing Ellena's grip, Richard leaned his face forward and drew closer, causing Ellena to quickly turn her head to the left.

"Richard, please don't do that. I beg you!" Ellena pleaded again. Her eyes were now closed, as if she didn't want to see Richard's face as it made its way closer and seemed ready to kiss her.

Richard's soft breath slightly flicked the hair that partially covered Ellena's face. Ellena could sense that, a sign that they were indeed very close. She was even able to inhale the masculine scent of Richard's body. Ah, how it really made her unable to beat the tremor.

When Ellena still didn't dare to open her eyes, Richard took the opportunity to observe Ellena's face at a very close distance. The two eagle's retinas seemed to trace every inch of Ellena's face, which was very beautiful and smooth, without the slightest flaw.

"You know, Patricia? You're the only woman who's ever made me panic like that." He whispered right in Ellena's ear.

It suddenly made Ellena suddenly opened her eyes. At the same time, Richard grabbed Ellena's waist and hugged her tightly.

jump. Ellena wasn't even given a chance to speak. Now she was in Richard's arms, her eyes widening. Oh, what has she done? She didn't think it would end like this.

"Richard, what are you doing? Let me go!" Ellena tried to struggle, but Richard tried her best to hold it in and tightened the hug even more.

"Shut up, Patricia. I just wanted to hug you. Don't you know how panicked I was yesterday?" Richard replied unconcerned.

"Yeah, I know, but the important thing is that I'm here now, well, Richard. Besides, I'm not that important to you, why are you worrying about me like that?"

Ellena still couldn't let go of Richard's arms. She really didn't want this to happen. What about her husband if she finds out all this. Even though it's unlikely, she still hopes to be reunited with Lucas instead of turning over a new leaf with another man. Oh shit.

"I'm not important to you, but you are everything to me, Patricia!" said Richard who had considered Ellena as his life. Even though she repeatedly refused, she didn't want to care and still hoped that one day Ellena would love and be hers.

"I'm almost going crazy thinking about you. I think someone did something bad to you. I'm scared to think about all, Patricia. Try to understand a little bit how I feel!" said Richard again firmly.

"I'm not your lover, nor am I your wife. I'm just a secretary to you, Richard. Isn't it too much to worry about me to that extent?" Ellena's voice began to weaken. She thought it was pointless to rebel, it was unlikely that Richard would just let her go.

"You're more than a secretary to me, Patricia. You accept it or not. From this moment on, I don't want you to be far from me." Richard replied, tightening his embrace again.

"Richard—"

"Shut up!" Richard concluded not wanting to give Ellena another chance to speak. "Think of this as my punishment!" He added later.

After quite satisfied with the activity, his emotions have started to decline. Finally, Richard loosened the hug and stared intently at the two brown beads in front of him. His gaze was wistful as if he was harboring sadness.

"Don't ever do that again." He whispered hoarsely as slhe grabbed both the bases of Ellena's arms.

"I won't forgive you, if something like that happens again." Richard added.

From his gaze, it was clear that Richard really cared about Ellena. I don't know how much love he has for her.

Ellena just nodded slowly, agreeing to Richard's request, even though she knew that what she had done was wrong. However, right now Richard was the only one she could hope for. I don't know what their relationship will be like, let fate decide.

"Give me your aching hand." Richard pleaded as he stretched out his right hand in front of Ellena.

With a feeling of hesitation, Ellena raised her right hand which had received a strong grip from the boss.

Richard's smile widened, then his hand gently grabbed Ellena's. He lowered his head, observing the wrist that looked a little red.

"I'm sorry, this must be really painful." He whispered as he looked up and looked down at Ellena's sad face.

"It's okay." Ellena replied, forcing a smile.

"Tell me, who brought you yesterday?" asked Richard curiously.

Ellena looked down for a moment, then looked back at Richard. It seemed like she had to tell Richard the truth. Maybe then Richard would try to keep his distance from her.

"May I tell the truth?" asked Ellena doubtfully.

"Yes, say it! Maybe I can help you with your problem." Richard replied with a small smile, then suddenly he grabbed Ellena's hand and led her to sit on the sofa.

"Say it, Patricia." Richard asked quietly.

"I ….."
