Chapter 105 - I STILL LOVE YOU

"Keenan, things are not what you think. I can explain everything." Ellena tried to suppress Keenan's rising emotions.

Fate is like joking. When she started to feel comfortable with Lucas' figure, why did Keenan appear in such a state. She was well aware of her mistake, but actually she couldn't avoid everything that had happened with her husband either.

"What do you want to explain to me. Are you going to say that everything I said was a lie? Obviously I saw it all before my own eyes!" Keenan growled, he couldn't stand all the disappointment he kept to himself.

It wasn't the only time he'd caught Ellena and Lucas together. In fact, he also repeatedly looked for opportunities to meet with Ellena. However, it was hard for him to get that chance, considering the last time he was kicked out of Lucas' house. Not wanting that to happen again, he decided to observe Ellena from a distance.

"Is this your way of ending our relationship?" Keenan's sudden sarcasm made Ellena widen.

It never occurred to Ellena to end her relationship with Keenan. The comfort she got from Lucas was true, but she couldn't just forget about Keenan either. This was proven when Keenan's words this time hit her heart. The pain she felt. In fact, she really didn't want to end her relationship with Keenan.

Maybe she's too selfish to involve two men at once when it comes to feelings. However, what can she do. Repeatedly brushed it off, but never worked out as expected.

"Keenan, I didn't mean it like that at all. I never wanted to end our relationship at all, but ...." Ellena was stunned and didn't continue her words.

"But what, Elle? But you already love that man, right?" said Keenan questioning what had been bothering him all this time.

Yes, all this time Keenan could only guess what really happened to Ellena's feelings for him. The way Ellena allowed Lucas to act like that made him even more wondering about Ellena's true feelings right now. Especially when Ellena also tried to limit communication between them, he was increasingly convinced that Ellena's feelings for him were slowly fading.

Ellena froze, unable to answer Keenan's question. Ah, even she herself wasn't sure how she felt about Lucas. Was it just a feeling of admiration or was Keenan's guess correct that she also had feelings for the man who had been her husband for three months?

"You didn't even answer my question and that's enough to prove that you really love him, Elle," said Keenan which suddenly made Ellena shake her head reflexively.

"No, Keenan," said Ellena, still shaking her head. "I still love you." She added later.

"You love me, but you also love that man!" Keenan pursed his lips and looked away for the umpteenth time, as if fed up with the face of his lover who he always missed.

"You're selfish, Elle!" He cursed without caring about Ellena's feelings. The only thing that mattered the most right now was his feelings. How could he heal the pain that pierced his heart so deeply.

"I've been trying to understand your problem all along, but why did you break my trust so easily? Don't you know how it feels to be broken by someone you love the most?"

Keenan's question once again managed to pierce Ellena's heart. It hurt to see Keenan hurt and it hurt even more when she realized that she had created such a wound in Keenan's heart.

"Sorry Keenan, I didn't mean it like that."

Ellena's defenses collapsed. She couldn't hold back her tears anymore. No matter how much she became the center of attention of the people who were there. She didn't want to think about it because all she cared about right now was her relationship with Keenan getting better.

"So what's the point of all this? You even purposely limited our communication, after you married that man! Are you giving me a chance to contact you? No, Elle. Not at all!" Keenan grumbled sternly.

"I know I was wrong. Let me explain—"

"Even I don't know what you guys are doing behind my back!—"

"Stop, Keenan! Please give me a chance to explain all this, so there won't be any more misunderstandings between us!" concluded Ellena starting to get angry, even though she shouldn't be angry like that because the victim here is Keenan, not her.

Mute. Keenan was silent when he saw the look on Ellena's face that looked a little angry. Maybe he's also guilty of cornering her too much. It wouldn't hurt if he gave Ellena a chance to explain everything that had left her wondering.

"Okay, go ahead. Explain thoroughly and there will be no more misunderstandings between us!" Keenan said, full of warning.

"I-"

Just as Ellena was about to explain to Keenan, suddenly her cell phone rang asking for attention.

"Sorry, wait a minute," whispered Ellena feeling bad for Keenan.

She quickly reached into the pocket of the pants she was wearing and took out a flat object from inside.

My Crazy Boss:

'Have you had lunch?'

A whatsapp message from Lucas appeared on Ellena's cellphone screen. However, he did not intend to respond. He glanced briefly at Keenan's face, before placing the phone on the table.

Meanwhile, Sixth was trying to be nonchalant. However, the phone rings again and thwarts Ellena's plans to talk.

My Crazy Boss:

'Are you so busy that you don't have time to text me back?'

For the second time, Ellena got a message from the same person.

This time managed to attract Keenan's attention. He looked at Ellena's face scornfully.

Realizing that, Ellena put her phone back on the table, not caring that Lucas might be disappointed with her actions. Unknowingly her tears had receded again due to interference from her husband.

"Keenan, everything you see is true, but it really just happened and I don't know why Lucas did all that to me. Whether it's just a picture to make him look like a real husband and wife, I don't know," explained Ellena bluntly -stale again.

"Miss, sorry I got a call from Mr. Lucas for you."

Before Keenan could respond to Ellena's words, suddenly a shop assistant approached them.

It turned out that Lucas still didn't want to give up. After Ellena didn't reply to his message, he tried to call the shop's phone number, as if he was deliberately trying to annoy Ellena and Keenan. Yes. Certain.

Ellena was silent for a moment, before deciding to make a choice. "Please let him know I'm busy and will call him as soon as I'm done." She told the shop assistant.

"Okay, Miss."

The maid immediately walked away from them and Ellena returned her gaze to Keenan.

"Sorry, Keenan," whispered Ellena feeling bad.

"Take care of your husband first!" Keenan quipped while pursing his lips, feeling annoyed.

"No. We have to solve our problem right now. I don't want you to think about me, Keenan." Ellena looked sadly at Keenan's face while putting on a pitiful expression.

"I don't know what to say, Elle. Obviously I'm very disappointed in you. From the start I never agreed with your decision, but you insisted and you saw for yourself what happened. What I was worried about all this time happened too," replied Keenan who looked confused how else to deal with all that.

Should he take care of Elena? Certain. He couldn't just leave Ellena to Lucas. Even though he was deeply hurt by his lover's actions, only Ellena was able to shake his heart up to this moment. He didn't want to lose the person he loved so much.

"I don't know how you feel right now, but I know that that man is starting to put his hopes on you—"

"How do you know, Keenan? He can't possibly love me!" Ellena argued while interrupting Keenan's conversation. "I realized who I am to him. Of course we are not comparable." She added modestly.

"I'm a man, Ellena. So, I know how he feels about you. From the way he looks and the way he treats you, it's already proven that he loves you. From the start he didn't want us to get back together, I'm sure of that." Keenan replied with a smile. full of confidence. "He sly man!" He cursed.

"No, Keenan. I'm sure you guessed wrong." Ellena didn't want to lose and continued to argue with Keenan's words.

"Then what's the point of his attitude towards you, if he has no feelings?" said Keenan firmly.

"I am sure of it-"

"Did he just do that in front of other people, so you call it a play?" asked Keenan who suddenly made Ellena helpless again.

'Is what Keenan said true? Actually Lucas didn't just do that in front of other people. Is it still appropriate if I think of it as a play." Ellena muttered to herself.

"You can't answer, can you?" Ellena blinked slightly when Keenan woke up from her daydream.

"I don't know, Keenan. I'm sorry for all my mistakes. I'm sorry for all the hurt you received, but actually I didn't mean to hurt you one bit." Ellena didn't know what else to say, after being attacked by a question from Keenan. Her apology seemed to indicate that she had heeded everything the man had said.

"Now the decision is in your hands, Keenan. I will no longer force you to continue to wait for me. I leave everything to God, if we are indeed compatible, of course we will return to how we used to be," added Ellena, starting to give up on the situation.

Keenan took a deep breath before responding to Ellena's words.

"I'll forgive you, Elle, but do one thing for me." Keenan whispered, starting to melt again. Of course he didn't want his relationship with Ellena to end like that.

"What, Keenan?" asked Ellena a little enthusiastically.

Keenan was silent for a moment as he studied Ellena's face.. "End the deal with that man right now!" he asked without further ado.
