He sighed before wrapping his arm around An Luxia's waist, uncrossing his legs, "Put simply, legally, you cannot take Xiaxia back." 

Li Qiyu immediately furrowed his eyebrows together and began shaking his leg in both anger and frustration. 

"But Xiaxia. . . As your parents, you should come back to us! We have been looking for you all this time!" He Muya said again, leaning forward in her chair hopefully.

An Luxia looked over at Mo Han with a smile and grabbed onto his hand before turning to look at He Muya, "I'm sorry, but I don't want to go back to you. If you are done here, then please leave now. You three live your own life, and I will live my life, thank you very much."

Li Qiyu scrunched his face up and grabbed onto his wife's arm, leaning over and whispering into her ear, "Come on, just say it. This isn't going to work."

He Muya looked towards Li Qiyu and frowned. Finally, she took a deep breath and clenched her fists together before turning back around and looking at An Luxia, her smile gone now.

She stared at An Luxia and crossed her arms and legs together, "Okay, if you don't want us as parents, that's okay. However, your sister needs money for going to college and we also need money for a house. You -"

"No way," An Luxia said immediately without even thinking about it. How could they be this shameless?!

Indeed, she was right. There was no way they were only here just because they wanted her back as a daughter. She did not remember her parents to be such simple and considerate people.

Li Qiyu immediately frowned as he slammed his hand down onto his leg, "What do you mean no way?! We still gave birth to you and raised you for three years and look at you!"

He pointed one finger at An Luxia and slowly circled around the room, "Your family and boyfriend both look so rich! You -"

"Husband," Mo Han corrected coldly, glaring at Li Qiyu with an expression that even made An Ping and Qi Lanyu shiver in fear.

Li Qiyu slouched slightly as he moved back on the couch, clearing his throat softly, "Um. . . husband, whatever! Still! Li Yixin, we are still your parents! You have to give the money to us!"

An Luxia's breathing quickened as she resisted the urge to punch something or scream, "No."

She said simply, not wanting to waste any more words or saliva on these two people. She looked over at Li Yilan, who did not seem to care about the topic they were talking about although it was about her.

Instead, her eyes were glued onto Mo Han, only making An Luxia even more mad. How dare she lay her eyes onto her man?! That little. . . 

An Luxia ran her fingers through her hair and looked straight into Li Qiyu's eyes, "Don't even think about getting money from me. If you want, you can go bring this issue to the government. Let's see who they side with."

She smirked, learning quickly from her husband. Mo Han looked over at her and a small smile crept up his face as he lifted his chin up proudly. 

Seeing this, Li Yilan's gaze moved over to An Luxia and clenched her teeth together. 

Why is she living a worse life than Li Yixin when Li Yixin was the one that got thrown away?! Why didn't she get thrown away then?! 

She had the opportunity to reject several men back at her hometown but she was still single even now. Why did Li Yixin get such a great man and she didn't?! Li Yixin was no better than her!

An Luxia noticed the fierce glare she was getting and she looked around the room, her eyes landing on Li Yilan. She smiled softly and looked away, not sure why she was happy to see Li Yilan angry.

Ah, she was such a bad person!

"No, we will stay here forever and not leave then! You ungrateful bas -" He Muya quickly pinched her husband to stop him from talking.

Li Qiyu angrily crossed his arms together and sat down on the ground, making it clear that he wouldn't move until he got his money.

Qi Lanyu and An Ping all looked at Li Qiyu with a mixture of disgust and annoyance in their expressions. How could anyone be this shameless?!

It was very clear that An Luxia's biological parents were just gold diggers, and came back for their daughter only because they needed money.

Qi Lanyu put one hand over her chest, feeling her heart ache slightly when thinking about just how horrible her daughter's parents were.

An Luxia looked down at her "father" with disgust and anger as well and then looked up at her husband, brother, and then her true parents.

She furrowed her eyebrows together and looked down at the ground. Finally, she took a deep breath and looked up at her dad again, saying through gritted teeth, "How much do you want?"

She was definitely not going to ask her parents for money to pay these two disgusting people, and she also did not want to give her own hard-earned money to them.

However, she did not want to deal with her biological family any longer. If giving them money meant that they would disappear once again, then she was happy to do so.

Plus, they did give birth to her and raised her for three years. 

She'll just think of this as. . . donating to the poor!

Li Qiyu and He Muya's eyes immediately lit up and they exchanged a quick glance before they simultaneously lifted one finger up.

An Luxia furrowed her eyebrows together, "1 thousand?"

Li Qiyu immediately frowned as he shook his finger unhappily.

"10 thousand?" An Luxia raised one eyebrow. That would be almost half of the money in her savings account already. . .

Once again, Li Qiyu scrunched his face up in disgust and shook his head and finger.

Finally, he sighed and said, "100 thousand."
