The Greatest Sinner

"What is your request?" Asked Evan, watching Lilia fight.

"Very simple, I want to receive a liter of your blood every month for this year until you join the Demonic Tree." Calmly said Rave.

"Okay." Evan quickly agreed; he saw nothing wrong with that. Rave helped him, he gave him a great deal of information. Now it was Evan's turn to bring something from his side. Moreover, Evan had no choice anyway, Rave could kill him at any second.

Rave nodded and pulled out a small case-sized device from his inside pocket. He activated it and whispered something.

Evan asked, "Why do you want my blood? Are you going to use it for experiments?"

"Yes, I'm trying to make them stronger using monster blood, various plants, and even spells. The same ways I use to raise their survival rate by consuming monster blood. I've recently concluded that I should try using human blood as well, but special ones."

Rave sighed and continued, "Perhaps if I combine monster blood and mage blood with a special body constitution in the body of an ordinary human, I will get incredible results. You are a person who can combine demonic and divine energy in your body, your blood is special. Of course, maybe your blood will only make things worse, but I owe it to myself to try."

She was significantly weaker than Rave and Joan, whom Evan had recently met in this castle, but still incredibly strong compared to most mages.

"Kilia, this is Evan Lynch, he will be joining our organization soon. He is a very promising young man and definitely interested in acting with us. "Okay, Evan, before you go, I want to take a liter of blood from you right here and now. You can stay and watch what happens if these people drink your blood." Said Rave as he watched Lilia return to the cell.

Evan nodded, and they headed to one of the rooms in the lab. Rave decided not to be too harsh and simply cut Evan's veins and drained him of a liter of blood. It was a great loss to any man, but not fatal. Evan was much stronger than ordinary people, so he felt only a little discomfort.

Rave poured Evan's blood into 100-milliliter flasks. He then took the two flasks and headed into the room where Lilia and Giel had just fought. Evan and Kilia followed him.

When people saw Rave they had almost no reaction. He came in here often, making some changes, bringing medicine, and so on. It was the usual routine during an experiment like this.

He called three people over to him. Rave wasn't going to risk such promising specimens as Giel, Lilia, and a few other people. First, he would give Evan's blood to people of less value but who also had potential.

Rave pointed at the girl and said, "Rita, you will be the first, just drink this blood, nothing else needs to be done."

The girl nodded and walked over to Raven and took the flask of crimson blood. Rita was a short girl with a pretty face and short black hair. But despite her harmless appearance, there was self-confidence in her eyes. She wasn't afraid of Rave or Evan and Kilia, who was watching her intently.

She quickly drained the flask of blood. Rave wanted to pass the second flask to the next person, but suddenly he noticed something strange.

<Isn't that...?> thought Evan looking at Rita.

"Rita, follow me, quickly, the rest of you come back." Everyone was puzzled by Rave's actions, even Kilia.

The girl was confused, but she nodded and followed Rave. After a while, they came to one of the lab rooms. It resembled an operating room. There were all the instruments needed to perform operations.

"Rita, get undressed and lie down." Said Rave pointing to the operating table in the middle of the room.

The girl flinched but did what Rave said anyway. She undressed completely and lay down on the operating table. She didn't know what was going on and so she was a little worried.. Moreover, this was the first time she had had to undress in front of someone, this situation disturbed her.
