Chapter 731: Unique regulation

Chapter 731: Unique regulation

Upon waking up, the first thing Jason noticed was that he was still able to feel both of his legs.

This shocked him because he could swear that the last thing he fully recalled was his leg being cut off.

Recalling the memories of the fight, he began to understand what was going on.

“That’s what the dungeon sees as an injury?! A leg or rather a body part being cut off???”

The pain he had felt was still imprinted deep in his mind, but that didn’t prevent him from being able to think rationally.

His uncontrollable wrath about the loss of his leg had vanished, and he began to understand what was going on.

‘I was clearly being overwhelmed, which forced me to unseal one of the major seals the Chaos Emperor had put on me…SO…afterward, the abyssal effect seemed to work, and now I’m…stronger, but on the verge of breaking apart because the Celestia bloodline is too potent?!’

Jason comprehended that the ‘Unscathed’ bonus was, in fact, the bonus he received by not losing any body part before entering the portal that led him towards the next floor.

Somehow, this was ridiculous, but Jason would be the last to complain about being able to retain his limbs.

He was glad that he wasn’t a cripple anymore.

It felt as if it had never been cut off, and it was because of this that he was quite happy and relieved about what happened.

The memory was gruesome but he had learned a valuable lesson.

‘Even if my body is not on the verge of breaking apart…I should really spend a few months cultivating!! The dungeon is…so much more dangerous than I expected!’

Earlier, he had been overconfident and complained that the dungeon was not representing the difficulty he had been given.

However, this idiotic thought had now disappeared, vanished into thin air, and Jason couldn’t help but feel that he would be happy to have it easy in his advancement through the dungeon!

Unfortunately, that was evidently not feasible anymore.

As such, he had to find other ways to figure out a solution to his advancement through the dungeon, without being forced to loosen seals on his bloodline, let alone lose a limb.

His opinion about the dungeon was slowly changing, and Jason began to take it more seriously than before.

It was not that he was taking the dungeon lightly earlier, but he had found it to be nothing special either.

Shaking his head, when getting up from the ground, Jason felt his entire body break apart.

Clenching his fist he tried to steady himself while his skin immediately burst open, which was a bad sign.

Nevertheless, Jason was glad that his mana veins and mana core seemed to be fine. What was even better was that they had been reinforced, while the same applied to his soul world that seemed to have enlarged too!

The divine energy that had been released from the portion of his unsealed bloodline had caused this change, and Jason began to slowly understand the meaning of the minor and major seals which the Chaos Emperor had put on his bloodline.

‘The minor seals restrict the Celestia race’s pure energy to sweep through my body, while the major seals restrict racial traits, divine energy, and similar things from overwhelming my human bloodline…’

With the first major seal, everything seemed to have gone well, which was probably owing to his enraged human bloodline that had been caused by the emotional chaos of the loss of his leg.

Yet, at the same time, Petri’s emotions had affected him the most, causing him to feel as if nobody was allowed to even touch him, let alone hurt him, creating an even more powerful impact on his emotions the moment he lost his leg.

In the end, he only won because of the major seal he released, and the aftermath was something he had to accept.

He was still alive and that was everything that mattered!

Obviously he was not well because the energy that had surged through his body had exceeded his body’s limits, trying to break it apart into two, but Jason was confident that he could solve this issue now that the amount of energy within his body had been released to a certain extent.

Unfortunately, he had entered the 11th floor, which meant that he should be prepared to be attacked by other beast groups.

That had not happened when he was unconscious, or he would be dead by now, but through the Emperor Eyes, Jason could clearly see the numerous beasts around him.

Right now, he was on top of a mountain, and the temperature was well below zero degrees celsius.

Only with Solaris’ help was Jason able to prevent freezing himself to death, while other beasts didn’t seem to be able to reach him.

There was no flying beast, he had spotted until now.

Because of that, Jason felt reassured that it was feasible to start cultivating.

At least to the extent at which he would be able to move and fight freely without thinking that his body would tear apart at any moment.

With that in mind, Jason cultivated for an entire month to strengthen his vessel, and physique, while Petri, Spyro, and Solaris didn’t stop cultivating on their own, either.

Despite cultivating relentlessly for a month straight, Jason’s vessel had yet to be able to endure the multitude of amplifications he received.

As such, he was forced to continue cultivating until he could start solidifying his third prismarine crystal.

Yet, before he would be able to finish solidifying the third prismarine crystal, Jason realised that the divine energy within his body had finally been stabilised, with a small portion of it transferred to every single cell of his body.

This allowed his body to be much lighter, and after a few tests, Jason slowly comprehended that his divine energy was passively amplifying his entire being.

Understanding this was important, but also extremely interesting to figure out more about his bloodline.

There were many things he had yet to get the hang of, and the mystery about the Celestia race, his body and everything about his family continued to plague him.

In the end, it felt as if he knew nothing about himself, which was weird, but, in fact, the case.

Time would slowly help him get the hang of everything and unravel all the mysteries around him. That, Jason was absolutely certain of.

Thus, he was able to remain calm even though the mysteries of his body were sometimes frightening.

Thinking that he would figure out everything at the right time, Jason got up from the ground, the moment he finished cultivating, only to stare straight into the eyes of a fiery red tiger that had climbed up the mountain he was standing on.

For a fraction of a second, he flinched, only to realise that there was nothing to be afraid of.

There was a blizzard on top of the mountain, but instead of being utterly dumbfounded by the sudden sight of the beast, Jason smiled before he took control over his body as he kicked out with all his strength.

Mana coursed through his body, and his entire being was amplified by the divine energy within him, only to flung the tiger away that had given its all to climb up over the course of weeks.

Looking down through the mountain, Jason noticed that there were crowds of hundreds of beasts, and all of them had between seven to nine prismarine crystals.

Yet, none of them dared to approach him during his cultivation, which was weird.

But at the same time, Jason was glad about this because he didn’t have to fight while being unable to control the energy surging within his body.

This had now changed, and he was more than ready to fight the crowd of beasts.

Taking a dive from the mountain with Solaris’ wings spread out, Jason couldn’t help but feel glad about the regeneration function of the dungeon, only to avert his attention to the beasts right in front of him.

Staring down, he started the fight against hundreds of beasts, with his soulbonds’ support, and his own devastating strength.
