Chapter 260 - Star Struck Big Fan

Big Hei was so star struck that he began to ask countless questions all relating to the events in the manga across all volumes. He felt honoured to have met the shadow master in person so of course, he had a long list of questions for his idol.

The only problem was that his idol was a little unapproachable so he could only direct these questions to his younger brother who knows him like the back of his hand.

"Did that scene where he broke into Taowu's lair and tore him apart despite having endured the punishment of a thousand cuts happen?" he asked with an expression so bright making one afraid to break his heart.

"No." hurriedly replied Rui Yewan.

"Oh and did the scene where he got into a heated battle with a Qiongqi and saved a pitiful looking fox demon from its clutches only to realise the fox demon was the infamous seductress with a long list of lovers happen?"

"No."

"But the one v one battle between the sheets did happen, right?"

A loud Pa sound was heard of Rui Yewan slapping his own forehead. In a lowered voice he said, "No."

"How about the time he accidentally fell into the lair of the Taotie right on top of their queen and..."

"No, no, and no. Everything you are about to ask is fake, all of it. He was never involved with a serpent lady, neither did he give up his virginity for a pill that could make him immortal!!!" bellowed a flustered Rui Yewan who had had enough of this person's unending list of questions that had the same answer which was no.

Startled by his roar, Big Hei leaned backwards with a slack-jawed expression. But this look of surprise only lasted a couple of seconds. His bellow had very little effect on this crazy fan of Rui Fei. It was effective for a mere ten seconds before Big Hei asked again, "One last question."

Big Hei leaned forward and said, "Did he slowly burn a half Nocru's skin off for trafficking defenceless children and adults after kidnapping them from small villages?"

"No.... wait yes, that actually did happen but the reasons he did that for weren't for a um... um uh... a....," replied Rui Yewan fumbling on the last word.

"Noble reason," Rui Li finished off Rui Yewan's sentence for him. It wasn't because Rui Fei was some kind vigilante that was out there busting crime and punishing the wicked. In fact, in a crime drama, he would be that one character everyone guards themselves against while they desperately need his help.

He was looking for their benefactor who broke into their father's palace so basically, the traffickers were sources of information. But for some reason, Ji Yao portrayed him as a heroic spirit with a licentious nature in his manga.

"He had already fallen in love with the one who rescued him that he took arms against trafficking syndicates just to find that one person. Love.... pause for dramatic effect, is a mysterious thing," she said looking like a poet earnestly reciting a poem atop a hill.

"Why did you have to say that?" asked Rui Yewan wondering if her brain was broken.

"What?" replied Rui Li as a subtle scent of gun powder filled the air. There were clear signs of an impending round of senseless arguing.

"Pause for dramatic effect, what else would I be talking about?" he said imitating her voice while coming right out with it.

"Argh stop that, you are so fucking annoying," she replied inching close to blowing up like a firecracker.

"No, you are fucking annoying," he replied imitating her voice. Unfortunately for him, Rui Li didn't appreciate this classic form of mockery.

"You bastard, come here," she said drawing her sabre before chasing after him.

Seeing the look of anger on Rui Li's face Rui Yewan would be a fool not to run.

While the pair bickered and fought like regular siblings Big Hei was still dying to get an autograph despite now knowing that more than ninety-nine point nine nine nine per cent of that manga was purely fictional.

However, the main star of this intriguing manga was sitting opposite Ji Yao with a displeased expression. Without uttering a single word he sat there just staring at him making Ji Yao a little uncomfortable.

Thinking he was still upset about not showing him the painting he said, "I will show you just not...," but before he could finish his sentence a book was slid towards him.

Ji Yao furrowed his brow as he looked down at the book. This was the last volume of the shadow master manga he drew but why was Rui Fei bringing it up. The look of confusion grew on his face as he stared fixedly at the book. He didn't understand what was going on.

Seeing that Ji Yao wasn't going to easily understand his meaning he opened the page where he was supposedly making out with a snake lady and roughly slid the book towards Ji Yao again.

With a raised brow Ji Yao took the book in his hand and finally saw what Rui Fei was referring to. But why was this cub upset when it was all fictional?

Unfortunately, the longer Ji Yao kept silent the more agitated this little cub. It seemed his sweetheart was smart but his EQ was in the negatives even lower than that of a baby.

How interesting. The guy with an even lower EQ was criticizing his lover for having a low EQ. There definitely is a lack of self-awareness there.

"Serpent lady, really?" Rui Fei finally said breaking the silence.

Ji Yao, '....'

"Is that how you see me? A perverted hero who can sleep with anything that can move?"

Okay, now Ji Yao was truly speechless. It was fictional f, i, c, t, i, o, n, a, l. What about that word was hard to understand? "You are overthinking it," replied Ji Yao in earnestness but his honesty wasn't appreciated.

"Uh uh, you have to redraw it and this volume should have you and me in it with sultry scenes then I will be satisfied," said Rui Fei laying his demands out in the open.

"But it's fictional so why are you upset?" replied Ji Yao not at all understanding him. If this was anyone else he would have ignored them or thrown them out directly. But because it was Rui Fei he was talking to he wanted to continue this argument and see where it goes. He was curious to know what sort of ending this senseless argument will have.

"Since it's fictional then Yao-ge, you should also create a fictional storyline with the both of us in it.. That's no trouble, right?" stubbornly responded Rui Fei wishing he could place the drawing tools on Ji Yao's hands and urge him to start working.
