Unpredictable Marriage.

"Lihua, calm down okay?." Lady Chen said to her as she forced her to lay on her back because she just tried to sit up.

"Mum, how can I calm down, where is my child?!" Chen Lihua cried out as pain could be visible on her face.

Liu Longwei was at a loss when he saw her reacting so strongly. If not for Lady Chen that called his name, he would continue sitting there without doing anything.

"Longwei hold her legs!." Lady Chen said to him.

Without wasting time, Liu Longwei held Chen Lihua's legs in place to stop her from kicking her legs about.

"Why are you two holding me? Leave me alone and bring my child to me, I want to see my child!" Chen Lihua screamed as her eyes became teary.

Chen Lihua was afraid that her child was gone. Seeing the size of her stomach, she guessed something was wrong and demanded for her child. 

She knew her child was not inside her anymore and she was so scared of the reality.

"Lihua please calm down, you just had a major surgery, you will tear open your wounds." Liu Longwei said to her in a gentle tone.

"I don't care! Bring my child to me! Where did you take her to, bring her to me!." Chen Lihua said in a fierce tone.

She didn't want to listen to any other thing they were saying if they didn't bring her child to her.

"Lihua please calm down!." Lady Chen said almost in tears. She knew her daughter wouldn't take this.

She had no idea her reaction would be so much worse.

Luckily, Madam Liu came back at this time with the doctor and two nurses. One of the nurses carried a tray in her hand, and a syringe could be seen on it. A new drip was there as well.

Madam Liu was shocked with was happening and ran inside the room immediately.

"Lihua?." She called out in surprise before turning to glance between Liu Longwei and Lady Chen.

"What happened to her?."

"She wants her child." Lady Chen replied with her gaze on Chen Lihua who seemed to have gone crazy.

Madam Liu covered her mouth as she tried to stop herself from crying. She didn't have the heart to watch Chen Lihua in that state. 

"I want my child!." Chen Lihua kept crying as tears streamed down her cheeks.

Liu Longwei felt his heart hurt on seeing his wife in that state. The guilt he felt increased. He hated to see her hurt, and this time around, he was the cause of it.

The doctor and the nurses hurried to the bed.

"Mrs. Liu, it's me, your doctor, please can you calm down for a bit, I want to talk to you, and I promise to reply to all of your questions." Chen Lihua's doctor said to her.

Chen Lihua calmed down and stopped kicking and struggling to get up, and the doctor gave a sign to Lady Chen and Liu Longwei to lose their hold on her.

When she was finally set free, Chen Lihua tried to sit up, while gritting her teeth in pain, but the doctor stopped her immediately.

"Mrs. Liu, you can't sit up now, your wound will tear open, and then your recovery will take a longer time." The doctor said to her in a kind tone, and Chen Lihua listened to her.

Liu Longwei, Lady Chen, and Madam Liu sighed in relief after Chen Lihua laid on the bed obediently.

The doctor gave a sign to the nurse, and the latter nodded, so while conversing with Chen Lihua, the nurse injected Chen Lihua ?.

Chen Lihua was distracted while talking with the doctor. She felt a sting, but before she could turn her gaze to the nurse, the nurse had already stepped back and was now changing her drip.

"Doctor, what happened to me, and where is my child?." Chen Lihua asked in tears. She didn't want to believe the absurd thoughts that were going through her mind. She wanted to have hope that somehow, her child was saved.

The doctor smiled and said to Chen Lihua in a soothing tone while gently caressing her arm, "Mrs. Liu, please calm down. You look so tired now. You just had surgery, and as a doctor, I suppose you know what that means. You need to rest and relax your body. You are tired now, and you are sleepy already, just close your eyes and sleep for a long while, we will talk again when you awake."

It was asleep Chen Lihua's brain and entire body was subject to the doctor's words, and just like that, she slowly closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep.

The doctor seemed to know that Chen Lihua would react that way, so she came prepared.

Lady Chen and Madam Liu heaved a sigh of relief when they saw Chen Lihua sleeping soundly.

"Thank you, doctor!." They said to the doctor in an appreciative tone.

"No need to thank me, Madams, it's my job. Please, use this time to think about if you want to let her know about her current situation." The doctor said as her gazes landed on the three of them.

"Doctor, you can see how badly she reacted when she wasn't even sure about her child. If we tell her the truth, we are scared that her reaction would be much worse." Madam Liu said as she wiped her tears.

"It's left you as her family to decide whether you want to tell her the truth or not. But my advice is to tell her the truth as soon as possible, because the earlier you tell her, the easier it will be to manage her mental health." The Doctor advised.

Liu Longwei who has been quiet, for a while now, thanked the doctor. "Thank you, doctor!."

"No troubles. Mr. Liu, I think that as the patient's husband, you will be able to make the best decision for her. Please think things through before she wakes up, she will only be out for about 4 hours.." The doctor reminded him.
