Unpredictable Marriage.

Chapter 190 - Mr. Chen Is Back.

Old Master Chen nodded and said to her, "Let's hurry because I need to find out the identity of the guest that caused this kind of commotion and teach that brat a lesson".

So the old couple hastened their steps.

In the living room, Old Master Chen stared daggers at Aunt Lin who was sitting on a couch opposite of him with a look of ignorance on her face.

"Who was that guest you brought in?" Old Lady Chen asked with distress in her heart since her husband was probably too angry to speak, and still engaged in a staring contest with their daughter.

Perhaps she thought she could speak first to break the ice and at the same moment, save time. Because the earlier they understand the situation, the faster they come to terms with it and know what to do.

Aunt Lin's heartbeats escalated. But she maintained a look of the facade on her face, trying not to give anything out.

"Didn't you hear your mother's question?!" Old Master Chen asked angrily.

"It is better you two don't know because if you do, you may join Ju Ju where she is", Aunt Lin said still with a look of arrogance.

"What sort of nonsense are you spewing from that mouth of yours? So you even know the condition of your sister-in-law?" Old Master Chen asked in disbelief before he continued, "If you didn't want us to know about it, why then did you invite your guest into the house?"

"That's right. You'd better answer my question. If not for our early morning walk, we would have met this person. So hurry up and answer us". Old Lady Chen said as she too became angry, wondering what was wrong with her daughter.

"Don't ask me, I've already told you I won't divulge any information to you. So you two had better give up, because the earlier you do, the better for you", Aunt Lin said her piece and stood up from the couch, attempting to leave.

The Old Master's eyes became red due to the anger that had been boiling in his heart. He stood up and pointed his cane at her and said in a threatening tone, "If you don't want to be buried alive at this instance, you'd better not take another step".

Aunt Lin stopped in her steps as she said to her father angrily, "Old Man you'd better not curse me. Do you think I am still that little princess of yours? Let me tell you now, I am a grown-ass woman with a child, and I get millions from my business every month. So you'd better watch the way you talk to me. I am not telling you anything".

"You foolish girl!" Old Master Chen shouted furiously.

"Lin how dare you to talk to your father like that!" Old Lady Chen said as she stood up to pat the old man's back before helping him to sit as well.

Aunt Lin folded her hands as she threw her face to one side without a care in the world.

"I don't blame you, I blame myself for raising you this way", the Old Lady Chen said looking at her angrily.

"If you know what is good for you, tell me the identity of the guest you brought into the house that does not belong to you and has no authority over, that caused your sister-in-law to be in the condition she is in currently?" The Old Master Chen said, still insisting on knowing the identity of the stranger.

Aunt Lin snickered as she said, moving her hands in the demonstration.

"First of all, this is my brother's house, and I think am free to do as I please in his house. You two want to put me in trouble? I am not telling you anything. JuJu is lying on the bed because of my guest's identity, and you still want me to tell you who the person is, so you can join her and lie on the bed with doctors and nurses to look over you, and with your family watching you with worry? I am not saying a damn thing. If you want answers to your questions, wait for Ju Ju to wake up. Then maybe she can tell you. If you want, I can keep saying it over and over again. I will not say anything. You want Chen Lihua who has always been watching me with one eye, to send me behind bars?"

"You are very shameless! Why didn't you think twice before causing trouble? Now you have achieved your aim, and now you are trying to run away? Something must be wrong with you", Old Lady Chen said pointing at her angrily.

"Now I know why you're still not married even though you have a child. It's because no man dares to tolerate this terrible behavior of yours. How do you want a man to bring you into his house with this terrible attitude of yours? You will definitely annoy him to death. Any man that dares to marry you definitely wants to cut his life span short". Old Master Chen said to her.

Aunt Lin's eyes became reddened with tears hearing her father's words.

"How could you talk about my relationship status? How is it your business? Did I ask for your opinion?" Aunt Lin said before leaving angrily.

The old couple watched her leave their sight with an ugly countenance on their faces.

That same hour, Aunt Lin packed her things and left the house with her daughter.

Others might think she left because of the hurtful words that Old Master Chen said to her, but that was not so.

Aunt Lin literally fled for her life under the disguise of the hurtful words her father said to her.

She was afraid that if she spent a minute more in that house, Chen Lihua would come to deal with her. So she merely utilized the opportunity that came running to ask for a hug from her, to run for her dear life.

As Aunt Lin crossed the gates of Chen Villa, she breathed a sigh of relief as she cleaned the fake tears in her eyes. Next, a smile appeared on her face.

She packed her car by the roadside and exchanged seats with her daughter as she went to relax at the front passenger seat.

She picked up her phone and dialed a number. Once was all it took for the receiver to answer the call.

"How is she?" The person asked with a tinge of worry in his voice, without allowing Aunt Lin to speak first.

"Well, I don't know because I didn't get the opportunity to check for myself before I ran away for my life. But from the Old man's words, she's still unconscious", Aunt Lin answered.

She held the phone between her ear and shoulder as she brought out a bubble gun from her handbag before popping it into her mouth and chewing it.

The person on the other side sighed before saying, "It's all my fault. I shouldn't have gone to meet her".

"Yes, it's your fault. You should have listened to me, now in your haste, you almost put me into trouble. You'd better start praying that you would be able to make a comeback in this second life you are living in", Aunt Lin said.

"Why do you say so?" The person asked in concern.

"Your daughter is the biggest obstacle you have. Just imagine what would happen if she finds out that her dear mother is in that condition, and that too because of you. Both of us will be finished. You know she hates you already?" Aunt Lin said as she stared hard at her daughter, asking her to concentrate on the road while giving her signs with her eyes.

"Where are you now?" The man asked.

"I am on my way to my condominium. If I'd stayed a second later in that Villa, I would have been forced to divulge our secret. Now I've become an enemy to the family just because I am helping you", Aunt Lin responded.

She made a sound with her gum before assuring him, "You don't need to panic because nobody will tell Lihua about her mother's condition. So you still have another chance, make good use of it. I am just worried that your wife will come for me when she regains consciousness because she will know I had a hand in this".

"Am sorry for putting you in this predicament", the person apologized.

"Chen K you are my brother, there's no need for an apology between us because you helped me in my dire state. Now it's my turn to help you. I promise to help you reunite with your family even if everyone sees me as an enemy".

"Lin thank you so much", Chen K said gratefully.

"Mmmm, bye". Aunt Lin said before terminating the call.

The reason she wasn't panicking was that she was convinced that Chen Lihua will not find out because Lady Chen wouldn't tell her even if she told the others, and the others wouldn't dare to tell Chen Lihua.
