Unpredictable Marriage.

Chapter 189 - Hell Will Break Loose.

The last thing she remembered was the person rushing towards her in panic and calling out her name 'Ju Ju!' before she fainted away.

What would have made the healthy and lively Lady Chen panic-stricken and faint so easily? And who did she see?

Lady Chen was lying on the bed in her room with a middle-aged doctor and a nurse beside her bed, looking after her.

Lady Chen's parents-in-law were also sitting on one side of her bed with an anxious and worried look on their faces.

"We just went out for a morning walk and this type of thing happened. What happened to her?" Old Lady Chen asked the servants present in the room with a look of worry.

"We don't know what happened as well. Madam fainted immediately she saw the man sitting on the dining table". One of the female servants answered fearfully.

Old Master Chen glanced at his daughter-in-law who has always been vibrant, lying on the bed with her eyes closed. The only thing that calmed him down was her chest that was still heaving up and down to show that she was still alive and breathing.

As he watched the Intravenous drip connected to her wrist, he asked angrily, "What's the identity of the man that would make her faint so easily?"

The servant's legs trembled as they knelt down saying in fear, "Old Master, we don't the person".

"What nonsense are you talking about? Since when did our Chen Family start letting strangers into the house?" The Old man asked while hitting his cane hard on the rug furiously.

"It was Aunt Lin that let him in", one of the servants revealed with tears in her eyes. And as she couldn't continue because of the sobs, another servant quickly interjected when she saw that the Old Lady and Old Master's face didn't look good.

"Aunt Lin said he was her guest, and so told the security at the gate to let him in".

"Chen Lin?" Old Lady Chen asked with a look of uncertainty on her face.

"Yes Old Madam", a servant answered.

Chen Lihua just celebrated her Chinese wedding ceremony yesterday, so some members of the family were still present.

The reason Lady Chen was the only one present at the dining table when this incident happened was that she had an important meeting to oversee at the company, and so wanted to have an early breakfast before leaving the house.

"Since Chen Lin is the culprit behind the scene, then what are you all waiting for? Go and drag her out for me", the Old Master Chen shouted in anger as his breathing became rapid.

The servants hurriedly ran out to carry out his order. It's not like they would actually drag Chen Lin out. They would only inform her that her father wanted to see her urgently.

The Aunt Lin in question was currently applying makeup on her face while she glanced at herself in the mirror, admiring her youthful appearance while humming to an opera that was playing through her Bluetooth speaker.

So with the song filling her room and lack of concentration, she was oblivious to the commotion she had caused. She was busy getting ready to show herself downstairs while being proud of what she has achieved.

When the servants met her, she was already done applying her makeup.

After listening to the servants, she asked, "Why is that old man suddenly looking for me? Did anything happen?" Aunt Lin asked as she looked at the servants in her room without a look of care.

"Madam fainted after she met your guest. So old master called for you because of that", a servant answered respectfully.

"What?!" Aunt Lin asked, looking very frightened.

"How is she?" She asked again with a little fear in her voice.

The servant explained the situation to her in detail and so, the look of fright on her face disappeared but only briefly. As it reappeared again when she remembered Chen Lihua's face. She almost cried out as she wondered if she was possessed when she decided to help that person.

Now she was in big trouble. She wondered if Chen Lihua has found out what she did. So she asked the servant anxiously, "Has Chen Lihua been informed?"

The servant answered immediately with a 'No', and this answer helped her to calm down a lot. But she started planning her escape since she felt that the Old Master Chen wouldn't let her off. Or maybe the Old couple wouldn't listen to her explanation.

But her plans didn't work out because she suddenly saw herself facing the Old Master Chen who was staring at her angrily. The look on his face showed that he would devour her in the nearest second.

When the servants left, the doctor said to the old man, "Old Master Chen, the patient needs a lot of rest. She will be fine once she wakes up. So I suggest you should leave the room for now. And I recommend that you shouldn't get agitated so easily because of your blood pressure".

Old Master Chen looked at his daughter-in-law for the last time before leaving the room with his wife.

As they walked down the stairs, Old Lady Chen asked worriedly, "Should we inform Lihua about her mother's condition?"

"There's nothing to inform her about. The doctor already said that she isn't in a critical condition and only needs to rest. And besides, Ju Ju wouldn't want her to know about this incident", Old Master Chen said decisively.

"That's right, Lihua just got married yesterday, and it wouldn't be right if we told her about this", Old Lady said.

"Even before that, there is another more dangerous reason why she shouldn't know about this", Old Master Chen said with furrowed brows.

"What's that?" Old Lady Chen asked curiously.

"What do you think will happen when Lihua finds out that her aunt whom she's already in bad terms with, caused her mother to be in this condition?" Old Master Chen asked taken a glance at his wife.

Old Lady didn't even need to think for a long time before she answered with a look of worry, "Hell will break loose".

Old Master Chen nodded and said to her, "Let's hurry because I need to find out the identity of the guest that caused this kind of commotion and teach that brat a lesson.

So the old couple hastened their steps.
