Unpredictable Marriage.

The old Lady said as well, "What is wrong with you Lin?"

But the person they were all angry with, and questioning was already fuming mad ?? by now.

She couldn't believe what just happened.

'Did that girl just threaten me now? She must have grown wings'.

In Chen Lihua's room, Lady Chen was patting Chen Lihua's back while comforting her.

"Lihua calm down. You don't have to listen to whatever your Aunt says. You know very well that she likes getting on people's nerves, especially when she is not in the right mood, so you don't have to mind her".

"I know mom, thank you". Chen Lihua said and squeezed her mother's hand gently, completely calming down.

Then she looked around her room to see that it was well cleaned and looked after.

Then her eyes glanced at the boxes wrapped properly with double happiness written on it.

Lady Chen dragged her to sit on the rug as they unwrapped the gift boxes.

Because of her short skirt, Chen Lihua had to sit in a yoga position. That is, she first knelt on the soft feathered rug, before bending to sit on her lower legs (calf) ?.

As they unwrapped the gift boxes, Chen Lihua was astonished by the things that were dazzling her eyes, while Lady Chen smiled happily saying, "You don't need to be shocked, you deserve all of these. And I can afford it for you as well. I don't want you looking as if you've never seen any of these before. But it's good you are happy. This betrothal gifts shows how highly the Liu family thinks of you. At least now my heart is settled".

"Before I forget, these are the deeds of all the properties now in your name. All you have to do is to sign it and let the lawyers tidy up the remaining work". Lady Chen said as she handed a few documents to her.

Chen Lihua took the documents and glanced at them before sighing.

"Am thankful to the Liu Family for showing me this much love and support".

Then she smiled and said, "Now I have more money to spend. I will transfer some money to your orphanage account for the children".

"You have to send a reasonable amount because I want to take them on a trip for their holidays and buy gifts for them as well". Lady Chen said with a smile.

"Mom, you are talking as if you don't have more than enough money to do just that. And besides your money, I also send a part of my salary to you every month. And all those that want to curry favour with you, also sponsor the kids under your care as well". Chen Lihua said.

"Don't mind me. But you have to get ready for the meeting/party, we don't want to be late". Lady Chen said as she got up from the rug.

Chen Lihua got up as well as she followed her mother into her walk-in closet here, she saw a beautiful mint green chiffon gown sitting on a mannequin.

Lady Chen told her to wear the dress and come to her room to apply makeup.

Chen Lihua nodded and Lady Chen left.

Chen Lihua touched the dress with a smile on her face.

She felt that her mother was still the best because she was always looking after her.

So Chen Lihua dressed up quickly. She picked a black stiletto among her shoes and strapped it on her legs.

Now ready, she left with a black pouch ? in her hand after transferring her things from her other bag to this current one.

Lady Chen wore a formal gown. And as she was about applying red lipstick ?, Chen Lihua came in and asked her to wait.

Then she opened her box of Indian Sweets and asked her to take some. Then she went ahead to explain happily, how she got them.

Lady Chen smiled knowing fully well that her daughter liked Indian sweets so much because she often talked about it. 

Then she proceeded to pick a piece and put in her mouth to taste. Lady Chen immediately liked it and proceeded to eat more.

If Chen Lihua didn't stop her by saying, "Don't finish it, I promised Longwei that I would leave some for him", she would have eaten all.

Lady Chen sighed regretfully as she couldn't eat more, and so wondered if there was still time to take her daughter back and keep her for herself because right now, her daughter was thinking about her husband, something that never happened before she got married.

Chen Lihua put away the box and joined her mother in putting on a simple makeup.

Just as Chen Lihua and her mother stepped into the lively living room, they could spot a new couple and two male adults.

The duo recognized them immediately because the woman who had a slight resemblance to Lady Chen was her elder sister Bingbing.

You could see smiles everywhere as they all chatted away happily.

After greeting and asking about their flight, the whole family prepared to leave for the Liu residence as time was no longer on their side.

Everyone got into their vehicles with their families and travelled with Lady Chen's bodyguards who were in three different cars. 

When people saw those numbers of cars on the road and close to each other, it appeared like it was a convoy ?????.

As they drove into the Liu residence, they were immediately welcomed by Liu Longwei's parents and siblings, including Liu Longwei himself.

They Liu's did this to show respect to their new daughter-in-law and her family.

Now, they were all being ushered into an appropriate banquet hall in the building, where other members of the Liu family were waiting.

Immediately they came into the decorated hall, the Liu relatives stood with a smile on their faces as they welcomed them with open arms.

Next up, they all sat around a very big round table before they introduced themselves, starting from the Chen family.

Immediately after that, Chen Lihua was formally introduced to everyone there.

A lot of activities went on joyfully before the foods were served.
