The Urban Dao Child.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin stood in the void, they had just vanquished one of the void entities in front of them. All it took was just a flick of Yang Dao’s hand.

Dao Yin had just asked the other void entities to show themselves. As soon as her words dropped a lot of people came out of the palace. They all did not show any hurriedness. They seemed to be walking out in leisure.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin watched the people walking on the ground with indifferent expressions. Suddenly, they spotted a perm old man flying up in the void and coming face to face with them. He said, “The Dao couple of hell and heaven, I am the steward to master Void. The master is unable to attend to you, so please allow me to entertain you.”

Yang Dao nodded and they said, “Please.”

Dao Yin also nodded and the old man said, “These people will not be your partners in this game. Anyone of them who manages to kill you will become one with the Void. The true master of the void.”

Yang Dao asked, “Is the void master different from the true master of the void?”

The old man nodded and said, “Indeed, he is different. The Void Master you will see later is just an envoy, but the true master will be able to control the void as he wishes.”

Yang Dao nodded and said, “Very well, let us play.”

The old man bowed and waved his hands. The hundreds of people on the ground raised their heads and they charged at the two people.

The Dao Couple took out their new weapons and they also charged forward. The silver rods turned to swords and the two moved as one. Their attacks were so quick and so much in sync that none of the enemies stood a chance in front of them.

The old man began to scrutinize the two with a deep gaze. He was trying to figure out the level of unity between the two people. However, was it so easy for the Void elements to perceive the Dao?

Yang Dao and Dao Yin did not even use the peak of their powers to deal with the enemies in front of them. The swords were slashing and slaying the people left and right as if they were farmers harvesting vegetables in the field.

The sword intent they radiated in this battle was purely destructive wherever it passed the void entities were completely destroyed, the sword energies did not even leave behind a single shred of these entities.

They all had a face that was ninety percent similar to each other and so was their actions and skills. This was the limitation of the dao. The dao was the same anywhere you might find it, it was all dark and empty. The entities composed of the void were the same.

After ten minutes, hundreds of Dao Entities were destroyed. Yang Dao and Dao Yin stopped and cast a gaze at the old butler. Yang Dao asked, “What shall we do now?”

The old man took out a spear and said, “How about we play a game?”

Dao Yin asked, “What game?”

She displayed a strong interest, and so did Yang Dao. The old man smiled and said, “Well, how about this, we three will fight, the two of you against me. If I managed to kill you, I will be the true void master. If you killed me you will get to see the void envoy.

But this will be two simple, since the Dao is great and mysterious, how about we add a twist to the game. The longer we fight the more stars will explode. How about it?”

Yang Dao and Dao Yin gazed at each other and they said, “Why not. However, we also have a condition.”

The old man was surprised, he did not expect the dao couple to come up with something of their own. He nodded and asked, “What may that be?”

Dao Yin said, “For every wound we give you…”

“A new star will be planted in the ones the void has consumed.”, said Yang Dao.

The old man nodded and agreed to the condition and the duel began.

Feng Yun and Atsuji Kurogame stood on the balcony in the Heavenly Dao Palace, they were watching the battle below. Ryu Jinshi came over holding Dao Jeiwei. While Zen was teasing the little Yang Dao Shi in her arms.

Laohu Bai had a solemn expression as she was roaming behind the people continuously, and the girls were busy taking care of the rest of the family members. When they found out the identity of their son, they were shocked. Yue Ling and Yang Shan along with their parents were allowed inside the Heavenly Dao Palace, while the rest of the people were left to settle in the City Of Zen.

Feng Yun asked, “This butler is going to be a problem.”

Atsuji Kurogame said, “It could be a good whetting stone for the couple. Do not think too much. Just stay ready for the contingencies.”

Feng Yun nodded as she glanced outside.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin were holding their swords and the boy asked, “I forgot one detail, tell me what will be the interval between the explosion of each star.”

The old man smiled and said, “Nothing escapes the Dao Couple. I was thinking how about ten minutes.”

Dao Yin chuckled and said, “You certainly underestimate the situation. But fine. We will take a concession.”

Yang Dao chuckled and said, “Finally, we can fight with all that we have.”

That said the people vanished from their positions and the next thing was a huge shockwave. The attack had shaken the entire planet, the palace below them directly exploded from the impact of the blow they exchanged.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin were holding their swords against the spear shaft of the old man. The dao Couple had decided to put all the care to the side and they moved quickly. The planet began to tremble from the shockwaves of the attacks.

The old man was finding it hard to believe that these two young children were able to compete with the strength of the Void inside him. It was not a one-sided battle but it was not very much in the favor of the old man too. His attacks were being parried and countered. The two guys did not follow their style of attack and cover, but they were both chaotically attacking the old man.

In the seventh minute, Yang Dao added a little wisp of wind source energy in his attack and it successfully landed on the target, the result was a deep gash on the forearm of the old man. The person had to take back ten steps to deal with the seething pain.

On the other hand, Dao Yin said, “Yang, you cheated, you used an element.”

Yang Dao shrugged and said, “I said we can fight with all that we have. Did you not hear that?”

Dao Yin pouted and said, “You just wait, I will clean you up after dealing with this thing.”

That said, Dao Yin moved forward to attack the old man, and Yang Dao followed from the other side. The two people did not want to give the old man any time to heal and come back stronger at them. This was not a fight for honor, but for the balance of the world.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin had come to understand, that to fight the void they needed to think like the void. The Great dao was not something that was limited by the ideas of honor or fairness, it was something that symbolized the balance of the world, and was responsible for controlling the counterpart, the void.

The void was so volatile that if allowed, it will lay waste to the entire universe. In the absence of the Dao Children or the Dao Entities, the void has grown to such an extent that the entities have taken a form similar to humans.

Yang Dao and Dao Yin were at the higher ground in this battle because the void entity in front of the two of them did not know that the two people were using the Void’s way to deal with him. To him, the dao child can only follow the path of the dao.

However, just like extreme Yang can give birth to extreme Yin and vice versa. The extreme understanding of Dao can also make one understand what void was. Once you know what you are it becomes easier to understand what you were not and then you can do all the things that you could not before and get past your limits.

Dao Yin and Yang Dao fought with the old man and the five people in the Heavenly Dao Palace were on their knees. Feng Yun said, “Yang is Yin. Yin is Yang. The void is great Dao and the great dao is the void. This is the true balance.”

They all had never expected something like this to happen. The Dao Children had become stronger than their imagination. They have not only absorbed the meaning of Dao inside them but also understood what the Void meant as well.
