The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

Time was moving fast for Zhenyi and Long Jie. Nine weeks passed in a blink of an eye and both were still living at the penthouse. The police investigation was still ongoing and they were not able to collect any substantial evidence that would prove her innocence. 

Her wedding anniversary was spent in the same penthouse but she was happy that she was her husband the whole day. They got congratulatory calls from everyone. 

Long Jie had decorated the whole house for their date night and she could say that she had a very pleasurable day and night. 

She had a court hearing in two weeks and yet she was lying on the couch, chilling. Long Jie was at the office. He had an important meeting and so he had to reluctantly leave her sight. 

When Long Jie was worried about how his wife might have to go back to jail if they failed to put out any evidence in Zhenyi's favour, his wife was enjoying her pregnancy. 

You see, it's not every day she gets pregnant! 

The dangerous lady had binge-watched an entire series of a mafia show on Netflix. Ah, while watching and roasting the scriptwriter, she had an amazing idea of writing a script about her own life. At least, her life was more interesting than this blame show. 

She heard her phone vibrating somewhere under the cushions. She switched off the TV and picked up the call after spending a good five minutes looking for it first. In hurry, she didn't even look at the number. 

"Hi! Aunt Zhenyi!" Her favourite human in the world said in the most adorable voice she had ever heard. 

"Aiyoo, my niece looks very pretty," Zhenyi said with a smile as she realized that it was a video call. "How are you, kiddo?"

"I'm good," Faye replied in a full sentence. The girl had come a long way. There was a time when she wasn't able to utter a word. But with her family's love and patience, she learnt many great things. Most of all, speaking. 

"Where is mama?" Zhenyi asked her. 

"Mama is inside her room resting," Faye replied to her aunt. 

"And where is your dad?"Zhenyi inquired. 

"Dada is with mama," Faye shrugged. 

"Then, how did you call my number? Zhenyi questioned her. Faye wasn't allowed to use gadgets without supervision and neither the girl was any interested in mobiles and laptops. Give her a colourful story book, she would be happy. 

"Shu Shu taught me how to call using dada's phone," Faye said as if it was some national secret. 

Zhenyi furrowed her brows as she asked,"Since when did you have a Shu Shu?"

Shu shu is a term used for Uncle, generally father's younger brother in China. 

Before Zhenyi could say anything, Faye spoke proudly, "Faye has Shu shu like YuYu has Jiu Jiu. Faye told him he is Faye's Shu shu but Yuyu still calls my shu shu his Jiu Jiu." 

Jiu Jiu is a term used for uncle, generally mother's brother in China. 

Zhenyi had a headache hearing Faye's confusing words. Still, she didn't lose her temper. After all, it was her niece. She could trouble her all she wanted. 

"My queen, don't use Faye frequently. Say 'I' in place of Faye and repeat your sentence again,"Zhenyi told her and Faye tried. 

"I have Shu Shu like Yuyu has Jiu Jiu," Faye said in a soft voice. "Yuyu calls my Shu Shu his Jiu Jiu. I don't like it!"

Zhenyi understood that Faye was talking about some kid. And why did it appear that her niece was fighting with another kid over someone else? It wasn't like her at all! 

"Faye, you don't have any Shu Shu,"Zhenyi calmly tried to make her understand. "But you have Jiu Jiu. You have so many Jiu Jiu like Uncle Jie, Uncle Yuan and Uncle Wei! Does your friend have so many Jiu Jiu like you?"

Fate's eyes watered as she heard Zhenyi's words. "Faye has Shu Shu!* 

For the first time, Zhenyi heard Faye raising her voice at someone. Her beautiful green eyes watered as she herself was confused why she was reacting in such a way. It wasn't easy for Faye to understand emotions but now she was crying for some guy she called Shu Shu. 

Zhenyi felt her heart aching for her niece. "Faye, listen to aunt!" 

"No, aunt is wrong! Faye has Shu Shu!" Faye said once again as tears trickled down her cheeks. She threw the phone on the ground and ran out of the door. 

"Faye!"

"Faye!"

Zhenyi called out her name several times but she got no reply. Ah, Faye was angry with her. What could she do now? She couldn't go to Tang Palace now and neither could she see her niece angry with her. Hence, she disconnected the call and dialled Alcina's number. 

Thankfully, Alcina picked up the call on the first ring. Seeing Zhenyi's dishellved state, she chuckled,"Dear Saozi, how many days it has been since you last showered?"

Saozi-- Sister-in-law, generally brother's wife. 

Zhenyi pursed her lips. She had been puking her guys out and yet Alcina had the audacity to ask her when she also took shower? 

"I think Faye is mad at me, "Zhenyi sighed, ignoring the quetsion she was asked. 

"Is it even possible?" Alcina said, scoffing. "The girl can be mad at anyone but you. Moreover, she doesn't know how to get mad at people." 

"No, she is," Zhenyi told her. "She threw the phone on the ground and ran outside when I told her that she has no Shu Shu, only Jiu Jiu." 

"Wait, since when did we have a younger brother?" Ryuu's startled voice rang. "Did Bà impregnate a woman and we weren't even informed?"

They all fell silent as they pondered this possibility. Did it mean Faye was not lying and Ba had impregnated a woman and they were not even told?
