True to her words, the next morning when Rose was taken out for her court hearing, she didn't come back to the cell. And Zhenyi just assumed that Bingbing might have completed her task. Yeah, Fan Bingbing had been acting as her personal assistant these days instead of Cao Feng. She was not heartless enough to drag that poor injured man here, was she? 

No, she wasn't… 

It wasn't a big deal for her to get Rose out of here especially when she hadn't committed the crime in the first place. Even if she had, what did it have to do with you? She just wanted to make use of her! She wasn't the embodiment of justice. Why did she care about others? She never claimed to be a good woman and so don't be surprised when she acts like a bad one. As for Rose, if things went according to her planning, Rose would soon get custody of her son. Her scumbag husband and his mistress might have to spend all their life behind bars for killing the older woman. And only after that, she would be able to get out of here. 

And about her? She would just get the hell out of here. Who would like to stay at the same place for all their life?

She would get out of here when she feels like it. Currently, she is enjoying her stay here. 

Her father had been making an effort to talk to her and she was dismissing his requests of seeing her every single time. She didn't want to see him for now. 

No, it was not because she was heartless enough to only just follow her plan and make her father restless as per her plan but rather because she knew if he came before her eyes, the inner little girl inside her would come out and she would break down before him. And her father didn't need that at this time. He needed to keep a strong front or else how would he be to participate in what she had in store for him next? 

That son of bitch who she had never seen before was playing games after games with her. Did he think that she was a push over? He had been testing her limits way too often these days. 

 That day outside the Du Zheng house, she had smelled gasoline and what would be the use of gasoline there if not to burn down the place? 

Even someone as stupid as her knew that it wasn't Do Zheng work because if that man cared about anyone genuinely in the whole wide world, it would be himself. So, why would he kill himself and his lovely butterfly in the fire? 

It didn't make any sense to her that time. 

And no, she wasn't stupid. But just like everyone,she too had her moments of stupidity. And that's what she did back then.

Whoever that third party was, their main goal of being present there was to force her to go inside. They couldn't physically force her to go inside but mentally? Yes! And this is what they did. 

They laid a very well planned plan. A plan that no person was able to avoid even if they saw through it. 

When she went inside, she had known that she was walking to the enemy's trap but at that time just like the enemy had thought, she would put her life in risk just for getting her long lost sister out of the fire. 

They played an emotional game of values and principles with her. Who doesn't know that Xin Zhengi was ready to go to any length to protect her family? Xin and Longs were way too obsessed with familial values. 

And that was what she went inside for… however much to her dismay, she didn't find Yue Ling there. She had most likely turned into ashes with other people who died there. And this feeling of guilt that was born inside her for not being able to save her was destructive. 

She scoffed when she thought how the other person wanted her to submit her sanity to regret. She really applauded that person for the mind game that he had been playing. He had made the right shot and even she was left in bewilderment and a sense of respect for that wicked scheming mind. 

However he popped that sense of respect that had formed inside her heart by making a small mistake. 

He only made a slight mistake but who would have thought that mistake would cost him defeat later in the future. Did he really thought that she, Xin Zhenyi, would just let the police throw her in jail because of the guilt that was gripping her sanity and reasoning like poisonous ivy because of the fact that she failed to protect the person her mother gave away her life just to bring her into the world? 

This was the smallest yet biggest mistake made by them. They had almost succeeded. Almost. But they failed in the end. 

Did they not know that she, Xin Zhenyi, was the most random person in the world? She did things randomly! Planning and scheming was not her forte! Don't think that she never schemes at all! She did it only when the situation called for it or she just gave this task to her all-powerful Ryuu! 

They might not know but even thoughts and evil ideas come to her randomly. She didn't need to waste her time on unnecessary planning. 

And just like this, a very random thought came to her when she was getting bored in that bleak and sad looking hospital!

Her senses asked her a question and she found herself unable to answer it for a long time. And when she did, she found this dilemma inside her heart clearing away. 

How could she have any emotional familiarity with someone she had never met before? No, she had no emotional familiarity with Yue Ling. She was just mad that if Yue Ling was really her long lost sister, how could they keep her hostage? 

Okay, she was more than just mad. 

She felt weird and foreign emotions at the thought of her. 

But you see, she didn't even know if she really was her sister. Even if she was, it still didn't change the fact that the girl brought it upon herself. If she wasn't so emotionally weak, if she had thought about herself over Du Zheng's wellbeing when she went to save her, it wouldn't be the outcome now. 

Yes, one might call her petty and heartless but it was who she was. 

Even if she was feeling regret for not acting earlier, it still couldn't mean that she would let one death destroy her whole family? 

Yue Ling was so obsessed with not letting her hurt Du Zheng just because she thought she was blund to her. Or whatever nonsense she was uttering! Not for a moment, did the girl think about how he was using her! She should have run when she had the time but she didn't do so. 

In the end, she reached the verdict that Yue Ling couldn't be the reason for the destruction of Xin, Tang and Long families' destruction. 

Yue Ling was nothing but a liability. She was there as their damnation. And even her death brought calamity. Look at Zhenyi...where is she now? 

In jail...when she needed to be under serious medical supervision. 

It was the reason why she requested Ryuu to not come out at any cost. The enemy of theirs wanted to use this opportunity to lure out the bigger power behind her that had been her and Xin family shield for years. Ryuu was her Ace now. 

And look how, she was going to make the best use of her Ace. 

However, she just hoped that Ryuu would be able to control his worrying nature. 

If Ryu comes out now, not only his life would be in danger but Faye, Alcina and their unborn baby's too. And she didn't want this for them especially after knowing what had happened during Faye's time. 

She just couldn't bring her brother's family into this mess when they needed him more than anyone else!! 

Although she was selfish most of the time, she still wasn't to this extent to ask people to only care about her! 

Moreover, she had a very capable husband to protect her all the time. As much as she knew him, if he had received the news, he would be on his way, threatening everyone to let them meet her.
