The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

"Ah, SIL, do we have all the invitees now?" Long Yuan asked with a yawn. To be honest, he was hungry and irritated. And glancing at the ridiculously handsome man slaying a ponytail, sitting in front of him, he had a dire urge to run from here or commit a mass murder. Of course, he knew that this bloody man who his sister- in- law called Sam was… He was no one else but his greatest enemy 'Cyrus'. 

"Why so impatient, little BIL?" Zhenyi raised a brow. "Do you not like to have dinner with your brother and his beautiful wife?" 

Long Yuan had an urge to throw up looking at this narcissist woman. 

"I think we should organise dinners like this more often, right little sister?," Meilin suggested and Long Wei closed his eyes in horror. 'Why is his wife so gullible?!' 

Esma looked at Meilin and shook her head in amusement. "Where did you find her?" She asked the question to Long Wei who had been studying her for a long time. "She doesn't belong to your world." 

But it wasn't Long Wei who answered her but Long Yuan. "Dear beauty, Sister Meilin was my bro's school teacher's daughter. He had quite a bad reputation in the school and since the teacher doesn't give a damn if he was Young Master Wei or not! And punished him in front of the whole school. Bro made a resolve to steal the teacher's only daughter. To infuriate him further obviously! But who would have thought that his plan would backfire and he would end up falling for the teacher's daughter instead!" 

"Moral of the story: do not try to seduce a teacher's daughter," Long Jie added amused. "Especially if you are attracted to her in the first place." 

"At least,I got myself a wife. What about you?" Long Wei retorted quickly. "Thanks to Uncle or else you would be a single dog until now." 

"Single dog?" Esma raised her brow quite amused. "And Ah-Jie? I'm sure he had more women than you all you count on hand." 

"Are you trying to incite my wife to divorce me, Esma?" Long Jie directly said to Esma. 

"Why would I?" Esma scoffed. "Since we both have nothing to do with each other, why would I try to separate you both." 

"I get it, you are hurt," Long Jie said to her. "But you know that it was not my fault. I don't even know how you know Alcina---" 

"Did I just hear my charming brother calling my name?" A voice belonging to Alcina was heard and everyone looked up to see Alcina standing with a very good-looking and dashing young man. 

Meilin had to blink her eyes several times to make sure that the Adonis standing in front of them was real, not just an illusion. Could there be a man as beautiful as him? Long Wei had to cover her eyes from preventing her to gawk at the man who wasn't him. 

Sam's eyes almost turned red when he saw Alcina holding Ryuu's hand. 

"Dayumm! He is actually not dead?"Esma, who was sitting beside Long Yuan, loudly exclaimed. 

"It seems like you are not a fan of his?"Long Yuan asked her.

"Fan? I distributed sweets among the poor and needy when I heard he died,"Esma muttered. "God, now please don't let his loyal dog follow him." 

Long Yuan had to admit that this young aunt of his was amusing. 

"I didn't invite you," Zhenyi said, narrowing her eyes at her brother. 

"I was missing my Angel. So, I came to meet her," Ryuu shamelessly lied. He hugged her and then gave a brother hug to Long Jie. 

"Where is Feng Siyan?" inquired Long Jie as soon as the newcomers occupied their seats. 

"Don't tell me you invited him too?" Zhenyi scowled.

"He is like a brother to me, Wife. More like a best friend. So, you gotta endure him for a while," Long Jie said in a resigned voice. He still couldn't understand why Feng Siyan and Zhenyi were always at each other's throats. 

Alcina's eyes fell on Sam who was staring right back at her. She smiled at him but he just ignored her and turned his eyes to look at Zhenyi. He still remembered what Alcina had told him that day! She had asked him to forget about her. And so, he was showing her that he had forgotten her just like she said. Yeah, it was a pathetic feeling! 

Not only Zhenyi but even Ryuu and Long Jie could sense the weird tensions surrounding Alcina and Sam but they refrained from commenting anything. 

Few moments later, Feng Siyan appeared in his usual appearance -- black suit and stone cold face. Long Yuan and Long Wei stood up to greet him as they recognized who he was. He was a big shot not only in the underworld but also in the business arena. They were left stunned when he called the handsome man accompanying their cousin as Master. Now they were curious to know about that man's real identity. 

They introduced everyone to each other respectfully but when it came to Ryuu, everyone felt as if they stopped breathing. 

"Everyone, this is Lord Ryuu." It was Alcina who introduced Ryuu to them. 

Who doesn't know of Lord Ryuu? Well, not everyone could meet him. Heck, people didn't even know what he looked like. He was an enigma. The only living heir of the royal Tang family. He was the most feared and respectful man in the whole of the country. Of course, Longs and Xins were richer than God and powerful than the pope. Still, the mysterious Lord Ryuu was on another level. 

"Ah, he changed his name again," Esma muttered under her breath.

The dinner started soon after and everyone was discussing some or the other thing. Despite their differences, they all were trying to get along with each other and they were really successful to some extent. 

It was straightforward Alcina who questioned her Sister-in-law directly about the question which was going on inside everyone's brain.

"So, I wonder why my sister-in-law suddenly decided to host a dinner?"
