The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

The Next Day.

"Wake up, my little queen." Faye opened her eyes to find herself asleep on Zhenyi's lap. She blinked her eyes several times to find Alcina in place of Zhenyi. She wobbled her lips when she heard Zhenyi's voice again. 

"Missing,Mama?" asked Long Jie. 

Faye nodded. Although she was angry at Alcina for leaving her alone with her dad and not coming to meet her, she still loved her as much as she loved her Ru. 

Not finding Alcina this morning, she realized how much she loved her mother. But it didn't mean she would forgive her soon. So what if she was a kid? She very well knew how to hold grudges. 

Long Jie helped Faye to sit on the baby seat and passed her the laptop where Alcina had recorded a video for her. It was as if she had anticipated this kind of reaction from her daughter. Truly, mothers knew the kids the best. 

The video started something like this…

"Good morning my little queen, the beat to my heart and antidote to my pois--" 

Before Alcina could finish speaking, Ryuu snatched the iPad from her hands and as Ryuu's confused face appeared on the iPad, Faye giggled. 

She even caressed the laptop screen when Ryuu's face appeared before her eyes. 

"My Faye, Ryuu loves you the most. Your mama is taking care of me since I have a little fever. You will go with your Auntie Zhenyi and Uncle Jie to a surprising place. I have told you about your Auntie Zhenyi before, didn't I?"

Faye nodded her head obediently at the iPad. 

"Be Ryuu's best Faye and take care of yourself, okay?"

Faye nodded her head again. Her Ru was the best. He had promised her that very soon she would meet her family and look he fulfilled all his promises. 

Alcina snatched the iPad this time and said, "Baby, mama loves you the most. Wreck havoc. Throw tantrums. Trouble your Aunt and Uncle.Mama has got your back. Again, I love you as much as fishes love the water." 

"And I love you as much as Faye loves Ryuu," Ryuu's voice rang from behind, and with this, the video ended. 

"Happy?" Long Jie said while smiling at the little angel. 

Seeing the little creature, nodding at both of them, they drove to their destination.

"Master!" 

A maid came running to Xin Yichen who was playing a musical instrument in his courtyard. He looked back to see a huffing maid calling for him. 

"Everything is alright?" Xin Yichen calmly asked. 

"Young Miss and Mr. Long are waiting for you outside," the maid said with a hesitant tone. 

Xin Yichen furrowed his brows in confusion. His daughter had been so upset with him that she had not called him since the time she left the mansion several days before. Could it be that Long Jie had coaxed him to come and meet him? It was possible. At least, his son-in-law was better than his children. He would surely give Long Jie a little present if that was the case. 

He entered the living room to see Zhenyi grinning from ear to ear at him with an evil glint present in his eyes whereas Long Jie sweetly smiled at him. 

"Bà!" Zhenyi said again in an evil tone as she moved a bit, a little chubby human came into Xin Yichen's view. 

The little creature who was sitting on the sofa stood up with Long Jie's help, walked to Xin Yichen's direction, and bowed like adults do when they meet their elders. His Ru had shown her pictures of all the family members before and taught him how to greet when would meet her elders. 

She also mimicked how Zhenyi and Ryuu called Xin Yichen but in a very low and almost inaudible voiceBà." 

Xin Yichen was left speechless when a little girl greeted him and she called him Bà. Whose kid was she? Why was she calling him Ba? And why did she look identical to his dead wife? Most importantly, why was she with his daughter? 

As if his predicament was not enough, Zhenyi added, "Bà, meet your granddaughter, Faye. And Faye, he is your Yèyè." 

Xin Yichen stood there frozen staring at the little girl? She couldn't be Zhenyi's kid. It meant she was…

"RYUU!!!!!"

"You both have nothing to say to me?" Zhenyi asked her father and grandfather who were busy feeding their new toy. Faye had them wrapped around her little finger. It had not been an hour since she had come to Xin Mansion and both Xin Yichen and Elder Xin were ready to sacrifice every treasure to have her say one more word. 

"Actually, I have," Xin Yichen said as he looked at his daughter and son-in-law. He pointed towards the door and added,"Both of you leave and don't come back. I don't need my children anymore. I never thought you would be a party in Ryuu's lies." 

Elder Xin hummed. "And tell that brat, not to come home at all. We are happy without him." 

"Yèyè, she is Ryuu's daughter," Zhenyi reminded them. "I brought her to you as soon as I found her. You have to trust me, it's Ryuu who is at fault, not me." 

"And, Bà, if I hadn't brought her here, would you have known of her existence?"

Now Xin Yichen was stuck in a dilemma. Sure, he was angry at Ryuu. But what was Zhenyi's fault in it? He owed her an apology too. So, it was natural that he couldn't be angry with her at all. After all, she was his princess. 

Sigh.

"You are not allowed to talk to your brother at all," Xin Yichen told Zhenyi and the latter nodded like an obedient person. 

"But Bà, you haven't heard Brother's side of the story. We shouldn't blame him for this mess--"

"Jie! You are my husband, not Ryuu's. So you must listen to me and Bà only. He hid our little queen from us. Do you think that we should let this matter slide?" 

"Weren't you yesterday on his side--"

Zhenyi stomped on his foot and threw him a look. Looking at Zhenyi's fierce face and Long Jie's confused face, Faye giggled. 

And her giggles were music to Elder Xin and Xin Yichen's ears. 

"I think we should forgive him, Xin Yichen," Elder Xin said. "Now that I have seen the face of my grandchild, even dying doesn't feel wrong to me." He paused for a moment before adding,"But our family must not wrong Xiuying. Just because we have accepted her doesn't mean we will accept her mother too. If that boy wronged his wife in any sort, I will not think before disowning him. He can be the head of the Tang family all he wants but he will not be able to be the son of our Xin family."
