The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

"ALCINA LONG!!" 

Everyone turned their eyes towards the door as a tall and slender figure came into their view. Long Jie's eyes almost popped out as he saw the face of the approaching figure clearly. 

Alcina. Queen of Serpents. Faye's mom. Lord Tang's lover. Now his cousin. 

"Well, why am I not so surprised, " Zhenyi muttered under her breath but it was audible enough for Long Jie. 

"Because our life is already a soap opera?"Long Jie said. 

Grandma Mian looked confused, and a tiny crease formed above her nose as she didn't realize what was happening around her. She has yet to see Alcina's face clearly. But as Alcina came into her view, the old woman froze. After a while, she slowly and slowly got out of the chair and met Alcina halfway through the hall. She was about to stumble but Alcina caught her by the shoulder. The old woman hugged Alcina and poured her heart out. 

"I thought I would never see this day," Grandma Mian sobbed. "If I die now, I will have no regrets." 

Alcina had never consoled a crying person. Even her 5 years old kid didn't cry. She bit down on her life lip and glanced at Long Jie hopefully who just gave her a clean-your-own-mess look. 

With a sigh she said,"Don't curse yourself, Granny. You have to live many years to see good days. I'm here now. I promise you that you will see good days." 

"You don't hate me?" Grandma Mian asked her with red teary eyes. 

"Do you hate my dad?" Alcina asked her instead. 

"He was my son.The light to my dark world. How can I ever hate him? I blame myself for not protecting him when I should have," Grandma Mian honestly said and Alcina believed her. 

"Then, I don't hate you," Alcina said to her."We will talk later, okay?" 

The old lady nodded.

Alcina followed the old lady to the dining room table that was already filled with many shocked people. The one who was the most stunned was Song Lily. She hadn't seen this twist coming. 

Long Ah-Shaan had a daughter? She felt as if she was greatly betrayed. 

Everyone welcomed Alcina with warm smiles because it was clear no one from the family was opposed to her arrival in the house. Especially Elder Long who had been usually silent since the beginning. Almost all of the people invited were trying to bootlick Alcina as the only daughter of the Long family and the holder of 10% shares which were worth around several billion. 

Soon the meeting ended and the guests went back with more questions and doubts than possible. 

On the surface, everyone was trying to get along with Alcina. In reality, many of them were planning to get rid of her. Being Long Ah-Shaan's daughter was enough for them to know that she was an enemy, not an ally. The daughter of the betrayer was 

Elder Long was about to stand up to leave the room in a fit of rage when he heard his son's voice. 

"The meeting is yet to end, Dad," Long Shaomimg spoke and everyone turned their eyes from Alcina to them. A look of surprise swept across their faces. Long Shaoming had yet to announce the complete will. 

"You disappoint me, Shaoming." Elder Long wrinkled his nose in disgust as he glanced at Alcina and then at his son. "Bringing back the daughter of a betrayer. Is this what I taught you?" Elder Long asked his son."Do you not care about our prestige and honor at all? You are simply a disappointment." 

On the other hand, Alcina tossed a fry in her mouth. Well, the drama was about to start. Finally, some entertainment. This look of amusement on Alcina's face wasn't hidden from Song Lily and others. 

'The daughter of a homewrecker knows nothing but to split our family.' These were Lily's thoughts. Only if she could say them aloud. 

"Did you forget the rules? The sins of parents will never stain their children's names. And every Long Child will be taken under by the house. Alcina is Long Ah-Shaan's legitimate child with his wife. There was no way I could let her not come back to her roots after knowing her existence," Long Shaoming said with evident anger. "Moreover, it's not me who is disappointing. Rather, it's you. I never knew my father was a monster." 

After Alcina told him the truth that day, Long Shaoming had launched a thorough investigation. When Alcina's allegations were proved right, he had no other option than to let Esma and Alcina come back to the Long family. Of course, he didn't do anything out of familial love. He had more reasons to do the same.
