The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

"I can't talk to you now. Bye, I will call you once I will be back in the safety of my room." With this Zhenyi cut the call. 

Meanwhile, Ming Jia stared blankly at the phone in her hand. She forgot to tell Zhenyi not to look inside the box. Who knew what she might find inside it? 

'To be honest, I don't want Zhenyi to look inside the box. It will bring nothing but unnecessary chaos into her life. I will never let her become another Tang Reine. The end of my sister already shook her soul, I was not ready to lose Zhenyi." 

Alex Qin walked up to his wife and held her shoulder, startling Ming Jia, "Wife, what are you doing with the phone at this time?" 

He didn't notice when Ming Jia left him alone on the bed. 

Ming Jia turned around and snuggled into his embrace.  "I had a very important call scheduled just now. You know I'm still not used to this country's timezone." 

He let her lie to him and tightened his hold on her waist. "Don't stay up late, okay?" 

She nodded in reply and went back to bed with her husband. 

She would call Zhenyi in the morning. 

'What trouble have you stirred, Jia? I hope it won't bring another storm to our lives!'

On the other hand, 

Zhenyi who was now trying to take this box out with her without leaving any evidence was finding it hard.

  Outside, the rain was pouring heavily. The lighting was making it difficult for her to go out. She who was afraid of nothing was today apprehensive of the dire lighting that was striking in the sky. 

'The Sky God is angry it seems!' 

  As Zhenyi said the words in her head, the sky thundered louder. 

She grabbed the box in her hand along with her phone. She moved two steps when a sudden jolt of lighting frightened her, making her phone fall on the floor. 

She squatted down to pick it up as she was about to rise, her head hit something hard and a loud sound of the crash was heard. 

She tried not to let the box fall and walked ahead. But as she stepped forward, her foot landed on the hard thing which had hit her head previously. 

In the dimly lit room, she could make out that the thing was square which meant it had to be a painting or a photograph. The white clothes which were draped around the photograph blew away when a sudden gust of wind came out of nowhere, making Zhenyi shiver in cold.

'Why is everything so strange today?'

The sky lit up in the red color for a second, making the face on the photograph noticeable to Zhenyi. 

Gray eyes very familiar to her were staring back at her. A face which was the exact replica of her husband was looking at her through the picture. 

Her mind was playing tricks on her, wasn't it? It had to be pure physical exhaustion that caused her to see things which didn't exist at all. Or perhaps, she was missing her husband too much. 

She looked at her phone and tried Long Jie's number but he didn't pick it up. She called him again and again, but only to have no response at all. 

'Where are you, Jie?' 

She then dialed Ming Jia's number and the latter didn't pick her call. 

Realization dawned upon her like pouring rain. Why was she calling Long Jie? What would she tell him? Could she tell him that she had just raided his uncle's villa who just looked like him? 

She didn't glance at the picture again and left the room in the same way she entered it earlier. 

'Is it the fear that I'm currently feeling?'

On the other hand, 

"Doctor, will she be alright?" Long Jie, who was worried sick after knowing that the little princess unexpectedly got sick, asked anxiously. When was the last time he cared about anyone aside from his wife? 

"Mr. Long, have you noticed something odd about the little princess?" The doctor asked. He was the special pediatrician who would always fly with the little Princess. His sole purpose of living was to take care of Faye's health. 

"No, she had spent the day with me playing in the seawater. Could it be that she has been soaking in seawater for a long time and then playing with the sand which led to her sudden health issues? 

The doctor frowned. " Does something unusual happen today? Although her body is burning, she has no fever. It's quite strange to see a body turning as hot as the little princess with no fever symptoms.'

"I still don't understand what you're trying to say, Doctor. Faye's health is our priority right now. I would rather have you not to talk in riddles." 

Long Jie couldn't understand Faye's situation at all. Perhaps, Feng Siyan could be of any help but he wasn't able to reach him right now. 

Lord, he was stuck in a problem.

"Mr. Long all you need to know if that little princess is not having a fever. She is a special case so I insist you talk to Mr. Feng, who is also her guardian." 

According to people who were not aware of Tang Faye's real roots, she was the kid Feng Siyan was fostering. It was done to protect her from the enemies which wanted Lord Tang and his bloodline dead. And unfortunately, Lord Tang didn't lack enemies.

"Feng Siyan , Faye's body temperature is not lowering at all. It's been three days. Even doctors couldn't figure out why her fever is not lowering." 

On the other side of the line, Feng Siyan trembled hearing Long Jie's words. 

"She is angry," Feng Siyan whispered."Calm her down at any cost, Ah-Jie. She might lose herself to the wrath that has taken place inside her heart." 

'Master, wake up soon or the princess may burn herself.'

"I have taken Ming Xiuying as my wife. She is the lady of the Tang household." Ryuu announced it to everyone. 

Someone far…

"I told you little girl that you have made a deadly enemy. She won't spare you. She is coming for you, Xiuying. You have summoned her wrath."

"Ah-Jie, I have bad news. Lord Tang is gone." 

"Nooooooooo!" 

Long Jie couldn't control himself. He couldn't lose his brother. No. No. No. He would have to come back to him. 

"I want to see him, Ah-Siyan. I have to see him with my own eyes." 

"I'm afraid you can't meet him, Ah-Jie. You may never be able to meet Lord Tang. He has served his purpose. He is gone and you have to accept it." 

"Ah-Siyan, what will I tell the little angel?" Long Jie said, tears rolling down his face." How will I tell her that the father she is waiting for is gone?" 

"I will take Lord Tang's position until the real successor takes the throne. You must take the little princess's responsibility until her mother comes back." 

"Who's her mom?" 

"It's forbidden to take her name, Ah-Jie." 

"Why?" 

Feng Siyan looked at him with sad and angry eyes," Because she annihilated Lord Tang."

"Oh, my God! My Jie is coming!!" Zhenyi jumped on the bed with the biggest smile blooming on her face. 

"Finally, I am going to tell him how much I love him."

"Zhenyi!" 

Long Jie called out while watching his wife's retiring back. With each passing moment, she was distancing herself from him. It was killing him but he couldn't stop her.

After all, it was him who destroyed them. 

"Don't leave me, Zhenyi. You promised me that you will never leave me. Don't go back on your words, Zhenyi." 

She turned back, giving him a sad smile. She was no longer angry, just exhausted. 

"You destroyed us, Jie. You destroyed me completely with your lies. Good Bye, Jie."

Y'all got a clue about what you would be seeing in the near chapters. But let me inform you that we will uncover many mysteries, after all the core of the book is untangling mysteries. We have seen many things from Zhenyi's pov. Now it's time we see Long Jie's and Ryu's life.
