"How did you come to that conclusion?" 

" I saw a flicker of apprehension in your eyes when you talked to Chen Yuling," said Zhenyi as she touched the flower petals with her hands. Such a beautiful scene. She needed the same gardener for her plant too. Still looking at it, she spoke in a soft tone, "You didn't come to stand up for me because it was the right thing to do, you stood up for me because you were asked to. And who will ask you to take my side in this family?" Zhenyi turned to look at him, with a lifted brow she raised the question." My husband?" 

Of course, Long Yuan wouldn't admit it aloud. He didn't want to get killed by his brother! 

"Either you're too idle to weave bizarre thoughts in your mind or the accident has screwed up your brain. I can't think of another reason why someone like you would be so interested in knowing what opinions I hold about you," Long Yuan said with a flicker of indifference. 

Zhenyi cackled at his response, " My dear brother-in-law, let's get it clear that none of us like each other and come to the main point." 

"Main point?" recited Long Yuan as he deciphered her words. She was talking to him because she needed something from him, not because she was interested in hearing his opinion about her. What an insatiable woman! "What main points should be brought out, Sister-in-law?" 

"This." Zhenyi pointed her finger at the plant and said, " I want to know who tends these plants?" 

Long Yuan didn't reply instantly, he looked at her as if she had lost her brain. 

"Are you not gonna speak now?" Zhenyi asked the sudden mute Long Yuan. 

"Can you start talking like normal people?" Long Yuan said, walking away from her. 

"Wait! Where are you going?" 

Long Yuan turned back to give her a last glance before walking," None of your business as you said none of us like each other so what's the point in talking to each other?" 

Zhenyi was seething. She remembered how Sam told her that these Longs were not reliable and it really was proved right. Damn! None of them could come to her advantage when she needed it. 

She suddenly missed her best-est hubby in the world! 

However, she looked at his back with a bone-chilling gaze as she said," Long f.u.c.k.i.n.g Yuan, I dare you to walk a step further away from me." 

Long Yuan stopped walking and turned back to look at her. 

"What are you gonna do about it?" Long Yuan retorted quite childishly. He didn't know why he was behaving in such a manner but he couldn't stop this when it came to this infuriating woman, his brother had married. But he was not gonna give in before her. He was a Long and she was a Xin, so, it was clear who was better and greater. 

"You wanna see what I'm gonna do if you didn't answer my question?" Zhenyi gave him another bone-chilling gaze. 

However, she knew violence was not gonna get her the answers, so she took a different approach.

Long Yuan folded his hands over his chest and looked at her viciously and said," Then, I'm standing right here. Get the gun out, Xin Zhenyi. What else do you know in spite of killing and spreading your fear?" 

Zhenyi strode in his direction and stood before him quite arrogantly. As a tall girl she reached above his shoulders and so it was easy for her to stare into his eyes. She pulled out her phone from her pocket and held it in her hands. 

Long Yuan, who saw Zhenyi arrogantly pulling out her phone, was startled. A thought came into his mind just then. 

"You ruthless human creature!" Long Yuan exclaimed loudly. "You're bombing our Long family house!" 

He couldn't take it anymore. This woman always came here to look for trouble. No. No. This time she was there to blow up everything and everyone. 

He would not let anyone destroy his family house! 

He would make every Long proud by saving their ancient family home! His name would be written in history books with golden letters for such an action of bravery. 

Therefore, he acted on his thoughts and tried to snatch the phone from her hand. 

The time bomb must be connected to her cell phone. So, he must get the phone from her hands. 

If Long Yuan acted on his thoughts, then, Zhenyi acted on her reflexes. As he touched her to snatch the phone out of her hands, Zhenyi startled and punched his already broken nose. 

His nose was bleeding but he didn't care. 

"I will not let you bomb our century-old family home!" Long Yuan had forgotten all shreds of sanity till now.

He failed to protect his home as he closed his eyes when he heard the click and waited for the mansion to explode.
