Song Lily felt her cheeks aching from all the smiles she had maintained on her face because of that damn girl! Why couldn't she just die and spare their lives? 

Zhenyi had greeted everyone by now. Instead of sitting beside Grandma Mian, she took a seat next to Song Lily, her lovely and sweet mother-in-law.

She was speaking in a gentle and slow tone. " But we will certainly hold a wedding banquet soon and you all are invited then." 

One must be thinking that Zhenyi was being thoughtful by inviting these ladies to her wedding banquet, but in reality, the shallow and possessive Zhenyi was marking her man.

Chen Yuling was staring at Zhenyi's face and Zhenyi was staring at Chen Yuling, no one willing to break eye contact. 

"That's...Brother Jie's wife, sister." Liu Shishi added after a pause, resulting in Chen Yuling's severing their eye contact. 

Chen Yuling tightened her grip on the phone, nearly breaking it, however, still smiled at Zhenyi. Only she knew how badly she wanted to rip the smile off Zhenyi's face when she had uttered Long Jie's name earlier. 

She was the last one to come, but she had heard Zhenyi announcing her wedding banquet alone. Did she even ask Long Jie about it? 

She still didn't understand what Long Jie liked about her! 

She hated Zhenyi! She had hated her the moment she saw her for the first time insulting her in the club! She hated her, even more, when she got to know that this woman was married to Long Jie. 

"Miss Zhenyi!" Chen Yuling greeted Zhenyi politely. 

These two-faced aristocratic women! 

"Mrs. Long," Zhenyi uttered,  glancing at Chen Yuling, and didn't even bother to say it with a smile. 

"Excuse me?" Chen Yuling froze. 

"I would rather appreciate you to call me Mrs. Long instead," said Zhenyi, this time with a smile intact on her face. 

However, Chen Yuling swore she saw a mocking smirk on her face. 

"You!" Song Lily snapped. She couldn't watch Zhenyi insulting Chen Yuling in front of everyone. "How can you talk to Yuling like that? She is our guest and as the young madam of the Long family, isn't it your duty to treat our guests well?" 

Zhenyi had an urge to ask her when did she treat her like one!

"As the Young Madam of the Long family, isn't it proper for a guest to call me Mrs. Long?" Zhenyi raised her brows and questioned the three ladies. 

Chen Yuling took a deep breath trying to curb her anger. She glanced at furious Song Lily and motionless Liu Shishi and said," Then, I must call you Mrs. Long from now on as you urged." 

Chen Yuling was actually telling her that she was calling her Mrs. Long because Zhenyi was begging her to. 

It was also a way to infuriate her. She has heard from Liu Shishi that Zhenyi was quite a short-tempered woman. 

It was right that Zhenyi was a short-tempered person but at the same time, she was partly thick skinned too. She could rip off your tongue for calling her names at one time and other times, she could just close her eyes to insults thrown at her. 

Well...it depends upon the person who was calling her names. 

Right now, she ignored what Chen Yuling was meaning to say not because she was too thick-skinned that her words didn't affect her but because she wanted to enjoy Chen Yuling's end. 

After all, Chen Yuling had a debt to pay to Long Jie's wife. 

In the end, it was Chen Yuling who was so infuriated that she wanted to slap Zhenyi across her face. She has never seen a woman so haughty and arrogant like Xin Zhenyi. 

On the other hand, Song Lily was delighted. Everything was going according to her plan. Knowing that  Zhenyi's temper had been inherited from the witch of her mother, she laid a trap for Zhenyi, and unknowingly she fell in it too.

Song Lily knew quite well that Zhenyi was aware of Chen Yuling's feelings for Long Jie. Though she had been suppressing those feelings for a long time, Zhenyi's entry acted as a catalyst. Now Song Lily was going to use Chen Yuling's hatred for Zhenyi as a means to make her chase after Long Jie. 

So what if Chen Yuling's love for Long Jie couldn't make her chase after Long Jie, her hatred for Zhenyi would surely do it. 

With an evil smirk, Song Lily announced, " Zhenyi must apologize to Chen Yuling for her rude behavior. It's not how the lady of our family behaves with our esteemed guests!"
