The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

"Welcome, Sir. The Master is already waiting and told me to skip the formalities for the time being and I shall directly escort you to his study." The Middle-aged man bowed as he led them to the study room.

"You haven't changed, Cao Kung," Long Shaoming said to the man. He had seen Cao Kung working for Xin Yichen for decades. The loyalty for Xins ran through his veins.

"Master Long, it's good to see you too" the man replied sarcastically.

Long Shaoming chuckled and shook his head. Indeed, many things were same like the way it was years ago.

And the others were wondering what the joke was.

Usually, Long Shaoming walked ahead of them, but since Long Jie was point man today, he followed the old man inside first. The Mansion was glamorous, tremendous, and vintage. . It felt more like an ancient Chinese Palace than a home.

Finally, the middle-aged man whose name he guessed was Cao Kung stopped and knocked on the door before opening the door for them. Stepping in, for the first time in his life he saw the man named Xin Yichen. Long Jie imagined an Expressionless, stringent, and violent man but he found a smiling middle-aged man. Calling him middle-aged was somewhat wrong because he looked more like a man in his thirties. It didn't show on his face, but internally, he was surprised.

"If it isn't my favorite old friend," Xin Yichen said, sarcastically. The man known as "Coldblooded and vicious" was nowhere in sight.

His father's face broke out into a smirk. "You are insulting our pretty interesting relationship, old man."

"Meet my son Long Jie," his father said with a hint of pride.

"You raised him well Shaoming" Xin Yichen replied."Please, have a seat," he added. 'Indeed, the man was worthy of his title. 'But was he worthy of his daughter? 'Xin Yichen thought to himself.

Long Shaoming put the contract on the table and said" Call Zhenyi and ask her to sign it".

"She wants to discuss the terms of the contract with her soon-to-be husband herself," Xin Yichen said. That daughter of his was an anomaly. Earlier she was not agreeing to marry the Long boy but later she surprised him by her new condition.

Before Long Jie could speak, his father answered,

"Sure"

Xin Yichen stared at him before saying, "Call Zhenyi"

Just two words.But enough to confirm his authority.

A few minutes later, Long Jie heard the door to the study open, followed by a gasp by none other than his idiot of a brother.

"Holy shit," Yuan said his mouth dropping open.

"Yuan," Long Jie said with an emotionless voice.

He turned his head to take in his future wife. He understood now why yuan gasped, it was none other than cat-eyes, the woman was constantly on his mind since the time he saw her. She looked even more beautiful than before. But what the hell was she doing here?

"Bà " she uttered and then the realization hit him, Xin Zhenyi was Cat eyes and cat eyes was Xin Zhenyi, his soon-to-be wife. He didn't know whether to be happy or angry.

She was dressed in a pastel-colored autumn slim dress and nude high heels. If she resembled a volcano that day, she was no less than a burning lava today.

She greeted Long Shaoming and turned to her future husband before saying, "I would like to discuss the contract with my soon-to-be husband. My attorney is waiting outside."

Both the elders nodded and turned to Long Jie. He was stunned he did not know what game fate was playing with him.

He stood up to follow her with his brothers and then she added "Alone".

He raised his brow at the woman standing in front of me. She was testing his patience.

" You can negotiate in front of them," He told her.

" I'm not going to marry three of you Mr long. I only wish to negotiate the terms of the contract with my future husband. And if I'm marrying any of them instead of you then I don't mind them following us" she replied with a straight face. Like hell, she was going to marry anyone but him.

"Yuan, Wei sit down " His father ordered.

He followed her to the room next to her father's study where a man in a black suit was waiting for them.

"Young Miss "

"Mr. Long."

He bowed.

"I'm sure Miss Xin has already set her terms, " He said to both of them.

She motioned for him to take a seat. Once he had, she took a seat at the head of the table, right next to him. A minute or two later, her secretary came in and delivered a file full of papers.

"Let's get this started," she said.

"First term. she added. She passed him a paper and it took him a moment to read over the two lines she had stated.

"You are kidding" He sneered. The woman had got to be kidding me."You are basically asking me not to interfere in your business. What you do, I have no say in it?"

"I run the Xin conglomerate, Mr. long. You have no say in what I do and how I do things. Neither I will interfere how with you run your business" she replied with a mocking smile. The woman was getting on his nerves. Their women didn't run the business but home. Yuan was right. He did get the shock of his life.

" By the end of the day, you will have my ring on your finger. You will want for nothing. You will be able to buy the whole of china twice over if you want. You will be taken care of and treated like every other Long woman, which is like a bloody queen. In my care, you will be treated with the same care and reverence." He tried to reason with her.

"And you expect me to worship you, Long Jie like every other Long woman. I don't give a shit about your money, why don't you leave your position as the President of long groups and stay as house-husband. I will also treat you like a bloody damm royalty. You will want for nothing" she yelled. Her face red with anger and if looks could kill those cat eyes would have shot him more than twice.

"Goddammit, Xin Zhenyi you are not understanding what I'm talking about." He wanted a wife to marry but he was getting a bomb ready to explode any darn time.

" You chauvinist, you want a wife to fuck and breed for you but you met the wrong person." She sneered.

" Zhenyi, listen to me, do you even know what our fathers do for business? Do you know Xin cooperation or Long groups is just a cover to hide their real business? I want my wife safe at home. I do not have time to save her from every danger she brought on herself, just because she is being stubborn now" He told her.Woman meant weakness. And in their line of work, a single weakness could get them killed. He didn't want to take chances with her and increase the feud between the two families more than it already was.
