The Typhoon's Dangerous Wife

"Run!" Zhenyi couldn't help but exclaim as the little girl gave her the much-needed attention but she was not acting on her advice. Hell, she was too stubborn for her own good. 

Couldn't she feel the danger lurking near her? 

Zhenyi took a deep breath and composed herself. She didn't want to unleash her anger at the little girl, she was already so terrified and she didn't want to heighten it any more than it already was. 

"See kiddo, run please." Zhenyi stared at her through the black mirror. Her eyes were filled with unusual worry for her. "They will hurt you and your mom if you don't get out of here now. Run now." 

The girl shook her head. It was a nightmare for her but the little girl was trying to be an adult here. Perhaps, the definition of nightmares for her would be changed today. Her body was trembling and the fear was almost overpowering and overwhelming. But then,  she tried to suppress the fear. 

"I won't run away. Cowards run and I am no coward," said the girl, looking straight into Zhenyi's eyes. "My parents didn't raise a coward. I will not leave my mom and my little sister here alone." 

Helpless. That was what Zhenyi was feeling. She needed to persuade the girl to run but she was not listening to her at all. Why was she so stubborn! 

"You can't protect her if you continue being stubborn. I can't save your mom neither can you, but at least I can save a life and that's yours, so please let me." Zhenyi attempted to bargain with her. 

The girl pointed her fingers at Zhenyi and said, " You won't save mom? She loves you. Why can't you save her and the baby?" 

  Tears streamed down her cheeks and she wiped it with her small hands. " You are just a coward who is running away from the fight. If something happened to my sister, I will never forgive you. Do you hear me? I will never forgive you." 

Zhenyi's body trembled and the feeling was overwhelming. She fell on the ground and clutched her head with her head. She screamed as loudly as her lungs could allow. 

"That's my mom?" She pointed towards the pregnant woman. "No. No. No. My mom died in an accident and I was not with her. Was I?" 

She was her mom. She just knew it. That's why she was seeing them again and again and the man and they boy were Bà and Ryuu? 

Oh my God. She ran towards her and screamed. " Mom! Mom!"

"Someone hear me, please!"

"Someone save her, please!"

She looked above and shouted at the sky. "How cruel can you be? Why are you doing this to me? Why? What wrong has she done to you! " 

Her body was trembling and the fear was too much to handle. But then she  reminded herself,' you are Xin Zhenyi, you don't feel fear, you make others cower in fear.'  Be smart. Be brave. Be a Xin. There was always hope. Always. She was smart enough to find a way. The idea was soothing for a moment until she heard the click of the opening of the car door. 

"I said don't touch my daughter, do you hear me?" Tang Reine threatened the man dressed in a traditional black robe. The kind of outfit that's was worn in ancient times. 

He snickered. "What will you do if I slash her throat here?" 

"Don't test me, Jin Jiren. I, Tang Reine, hold enough power to annihilate your lineage and both of us know that I don't have a habit of making empty threats." 

"Your rule will end with you, Tang Reine. The end of the Tang empire. Your father, the late king will be happy and proud to know that his only descendant didn't die without giving a fight. You were always his pride and crown but today, I will enjoy myself by tarnishing his pride and the crown." 

The man who had captured the little girl or young Zhenyi had pointed the gun at her head. Jin Jiren walked towards the little girl and took the gun in his hand. 

"Here," said the man and looked at Tang Reine. " End of Tang blood and empire. No more dirty Tangs. " 

He was about to shoot the girl in her head when he said, " Plus, the end of Xins too, Tang Reine. Poor Xin Yichen will die a death worse than you. He will die every day without you. He will blame you for his devastation but wouldn't be able to hate you. Such a love story, I haven't heard of ever! And I will be the one to kill the love between you! " 

He glanced at young Zhenyi who was staring at her mother. " Little princess. " He snickered. " Did you mama ever tell you that you are a princess? " 

Zhenyi, who was watching the scene from afar, was in utter shock. A Princess? What on Earth was he talking about? He had to be lying, right. Otherwise, Bà would have told her everything, didn't he? Her heart was telling her that her father had already lied to her and fabricated many stories but her mind was not ready to accept anything right now. 

She just needed a break for Godsake. 

Jin Jiren smiled. "I take it as a no then, kid. You are a princess. A real one. Your grandfather who is in heaven now, gave you the title even before your birth. And you see the little kid in your mother's womb" He pointed towards Tang Reine. " That spawn will be given a title too. And I am going to kill all three of you today, do you know why?" He questioned Zhenyi and both the Zhenyis shook their heads as if in no. They clearly did not know.
