Chapter 672 – The Scum Is Disdainful

"Damn it! Damn it all!!!" Bozun, the leader of the foreign invaders that colluded with Dong Chi and Dong Chi's father to attack the Dongcheng Sect, screamed in frustration and anger as he knelt on the ground while clutching his bleeding stomach as he glared at Xie Lan, Sun Yu, Wu Yuan and Tang Teng with his eyes filled with so much loathing. 

"What the heck… he is actually such a trash!" Tang Teng can't finally hold it back as he pointed at Bozun on the ground. "Even Tang Zhe can deal with him, but now that there are four of us… isn't this just overkill?!" he asked and looked at Bozun with a complicated gaze. 

Sun Yu scoffed. "So much for getting so worked up." he said and frowned in disdain. 

Xie Lan chuckled. His eyes are bright. "En. You are right." He nodded in agreement. 

They all thought that the enemy is very strong that is why they managed to suppress the information of them attacking the Dongcheng Sect and even toppled the sect leader, Dong Zheng. But, they should know better now that they are enlightened by the strength of the leader of the enemies. These foreign invaders just relied on dirty tactics and colluding with the traitors Dong Chi and his father, and also poisoning Dong Zheng, as well as catching the Dongcheng Sect off-guard due to all these, thus they managed to conquer the Dongcheng Sect, making them all alarmed of this. 

But, now, looking at Bozun in front of them who looked so wretched, they think that their panic earlier and fear were very laughable. And, they really laughed since they have found out that they looked like they are idiots earlier to rush to the east and thought that, indeed, calamity has finally started in their land! 

However, what is this now? They panicked just for a piece of trash? They thought as their eyes narrowed while glaring at Bozun. "You…" they spoke as they raised their swords while staring at Bozun whose face turned pale in horror when he saw their malevolent expressions. 

Bozun's eyes widened and he panicked. He turned and saw one of his subordinates who ran to his air earlier and now is treating his wound. His scalp felt numb when he felt the gazes of Xie Lan, Sun Yu, Tang Teng and Wu Yuan on him as they slowly approached towards him with their swords in his hand.

Tang Zhe who heard his father spoke his name came with Tang Yun, Guo Cheng and Shan Lu after they have cleaned up their enemies, only for them to see their sect leader, together with Xie Lan, Sun Yu and Wu Yuan, slowly walked towards Bozun's side with evil grins on their faces while Bozun's face is as pale as a paper in horror while beads of sweat trickled down his face. 

Then, they saw Bozun pulled his subordinate. "You useless piece of trash!" he said as he gripped tight the arm of his subordinate, who was caught off-guard because he was dutifully treating Bozun's wound. "You die for me!" he said before he hit his subordinate's chest with his palm, sending his subordinate towards Xie Lan, Sun Yu, Wu Yuan and Tang Teng with a great force! 

Tang Zhe, Yang Yun, Guo Cheng and Shan Lu were stunned when they saw this scene. Xie Lan, Sun Yu, Wu Yuan and Tang Teng also frowned, obviously disgusted by this move of Bozun. As expected of a trash! They thought as they moved their bodies to the side to dodge, making the body of Bozun's subordinate pass by them. 

Tang Zhe, Tang Yun, Guo Cheng and Shan Lu also saw the body of Bozun's subordinate flying towards them and they also dodged, making the body of Bozun's subordinate hit the wall and make a deep crack on it. They can clearly hear the bones crackling and felt their scalps turn numb. Then, they saw the body of Bozun's subordinate slid down the wall while leaving a bloody mark on it before it fell on the ground. 

Although it was their enemy, they saw that the subordinate was innocently pushed by Bozun to escape. So, they ran to check if Bozun's subordinate is still alive and can be saved, since they can also detain him and make him spit out their sect's motives and secrets. 

"He is still alive!" Guo Cheng exclaimed in surprise as he immediately fed potions to the subordinate's mouth. 

They all sighed in relief. "Cheng Sheng! Where are you?!" Tang Zhe yelled as he looked around to search for Cheng Sheng's figure. 

In the corner of his eyes, he saw that Xie Lan, Sun Yu, Wu Yuan and Tang Teng flew after Bozun to chase the latter. This trash! Tang Zhe frowned in disdain and anger. 

"What is it?" Cheng Sheng's voice pulled him from his thought. 

They all turned and saw a white object fluttering before them. It is Bai Tan, the Shapeshifting Blanket! Then, they saw Cheng Sheng came out of Bai Tan's 'stomach'. They grimaced, since they think of this image as Bai Tan spitting out Cheng Sheng. 

Tang Zhe shook his head, throwing off those thoughts from his head. Then, he faces Cheng Sheng. "We have caught one of the enemies! Quick, save him! He is still alive!" he told Cheng Sheng and pointed Bozun's subordinate who is barely breathing. 

"Oh!" Cheng Sheng muttered and immediately went to save the person. "Very good! We can detain him and interrogate him about their sect!" he said and grinned as he immediately started his work. 

Meanwhile, Tang Yun, Guo Cheng and Shan Lu who heard what Tang Zhe said. "… en…" they nodded in agreement. 'catch'? What 'catch'? They thought as their faces were covered in black lines. We didn't catch him! It was Bozun who sent his subordinate to us! They thought, then grimaced when they realized something. 

Well, it is more damaging the fact that it was Bozun who sent us his subordinate, with him using his subordinate as only a shield while we will use his subordinate to interrogate him! 

"Was he struck on the chest and the back of his head?" they heard Cheng Sheng asked as he pressed the acupoints on the subordinate's body. 

"En. Bozun struck him on the chest to be used as a decoy and then the subordinate hit the wall after we all dodged." Tang Yun answered as he and Guo Cheng helped Cheng Sheng stop the bleeding on the head of the subordinate and then bandaged it. 

"Where is Fei Yin and your brother?" Shan Lu asked when he didn't see Fei Yin, Chen Han, as well as Lei Qing and Sun Yi. 

"They are still dealing with the Devouring Worms left and the spirit servants. The Dongcheng Sect is helping them burn the Devouring Worms, which is also a way for them to vent their anger." Cheng Sheng answered. "I went out when I heard your panicked voice. Good thing I did, since we have gained from the loss!" he said as he looked at the unconscious subordinate of Bozun with sparkling eyes. 

They all nodded in understanding. Indeed, this would be more of a loss if they won't be able to gain any information from the enemies. Also – "Your magic pills and potions…" they said and looked at Cheng Sheng. 

Cheng Sheng waved his hand dismissively. "Saving lives is more important. And magic pills and potions can be made again while lives can't." he said.

They all heaved a sigh. Cheng Sheng is really a good person, albeit a scum. Though this seems contradictory, Cheng Sheng is really a contradictory person! 

Suddenly, they all saw light flashed in the air followed by the entire Dongcheng Sect surrounded by the light! "What… what is this?!" they asked, starting to panic. After all, the enemies are very good in tricks. 

But, they forgot that they have the great trickster on their side! "Oh. As expected of Lei Ling. He learns very fast!" Cheng Sheng said.,

"Huh?" they muttered and looked at Cheng Sheng. "This was your plan?!" they exclaimed in shock. 

"En." Cheng Sheng nodded. "I worried that the Devouring Worms are too many and scatter so I had Lei Ling set up a formation which will become their big cage and prevent them from escaping anywhere." He explained, then paused when he remembered something. "Xi Ming and Xi Xing already went to look outside the 'cage' to burn the Devouring Worms that escaped so that these disgusting, carnivorous worms won't be able to reach the residential areas and harm the ordinary people." He said. 

They all nodded in agreement, then smiled, feeling relieved to hear this. As expected of Cheng Sheng. He is really dependable! 

"Help me carry this person inside Bai Tan." Cheng Sheng said. "Bai Tan." He called. 

Tang Zhe and Shan Lu immediately moved and carefully carried Bozun's subordinate inside Bai Tan's 'stomach', only to be shocked of what they saw.
