The Kidnapped Bride

Chapter 71 - Men's Morning Problem

She was in a dilemma whether to do what her heart was asking her to do or just retard back to her room and sleep without bothering him. At this stage, it was the most difficult conclusion which she had to decide on the spot.

Jennifer's fingers wrapped around the jar, holding it tightly. At first, she just refilled her jar with water, still in deep thought.

'I haven't shared the bed with someone else.... Can I let him sleep there?' she was unsure yet his current situation was no less worrying to her.

The next morning, she was aware that he will be busy with work. If he didn't get enough rest, how was he supposed to continue the rest of his work in the morning?

The feeling of unknown and known consumed her mind when her gaze once again reverted to his sleeping figure on the couch and felt heartache. A pout appeared on her face while she tried to hide her own mixed emotions yet it was of no use for now.

At last, Jennifer gave up her intense fighting with her own sentiments. She walked near him and touched his shoulder lightly, "Javier.. listen to me."

"Hmm.." he was fast asleep due to his exhaustion from the night but still murmured in between his breath.

Jennifer bit her lower lips as she managed to utter the words out of her mind. "You aren't comfortable here… why don't you come and sleep where I'm sleeping?"

Her voice was loud enough to be heard by him. Still, he didn't reply and his eyes were closed, making her feel puzzled because of lack of response. But once again Jennifer spoke, "Javier, hear me up. Come to bed with me. Here it is not comfortable for you."

"A..are..you..sure?" He asked her in his drowsy tone to which she replied with a positive sign, "Javier. Get up now."

Finally, in the end, he nodded his head and yawned first. Stretching his hand backward, Javier stood on his legs with dizziness spreading on his entire face.

At the same time, Jennifer took his pillow and blankets and just asked him to straightaway walk towards the bedroom. He too, without any questions, or arguing back just walked with his leftover energy while Jennifer held his other stuff in her hands and followed.

Javier simply laid on the other side of the bed and was ready to fall into deep slumber whereas Jennfier helped to put the pillow under his head and put a blanket. He clutched the blanket tightly and once again, he dozed to sleep.

Jennifer stared at his well-defined face for some moment and she too, climbed the other side of the bed and took the blanket to cover her body. She immediately switched the night lamp to avoid the light disturbing his precious sleep and rested her head against the soft pillow.

But after bringing him back to the bedroom, a satisfied grin appeared on her face with her heart at ease to see him beside her, now comfortably sleeping without any worry.

Not only that, she can feel herself growing more protective toward him. Without any excuse, she can definitely say that his well-being was suddenly affecting her mentally and emotionally.

'In what mess have I landed myself in?'

….

Morning

The entire night passed in peace and silence. Both the party had enough sleep to rest their entire body and feel energetic in the fresh morning.

But their sleeping was much different from when they slept in the night. At first, Javier's eyes opened when a little bit of light fell on his face from between the curtains.

He rubbed his eyes lightly and stretched his hand near the side table where he tried to search for his phone Beside but unfortunately, there was nothing. When he realized that there was nothing besides him, did he open his eyes fully, to see a figure-hugging him tightly?

'Why the hell am I in my room? Wasn't I in the living…' he was bewildered by his current relocation. But at the same time, some faint voice echoed in his mind.

The past events played in his brain when Jennifer came and whispered in his ears to sleep beside her. He too, without realizing it, just agreed and landed on the comfortable mattress. 'Wait.. so Jennifer was alright having me with her?' The sudden thought brought unspeakable brightness, to his dear heart.

While he noticed their current position, a blush crept over his cheeks when he gulped his saliva. 'Wow, I never had a morning like this..'

He examined their legs which were engaged with each other. Probably, Jennifer stuck to him like a koala, and surprisingly, he didn't even mind her closeness.

A smile lingered on his face when her fresh natural scent entered his nostrils which were constantly setting him in the pleasure. But then his eyes took a look at his pajama and knew the morning problem was arising.

'Oh my.. Gosh.. was this supposed to be happening just now?'
