The Hidden Wife Of The Cold CEO

Chapter 509: Huang Li

Chapter 509: Huang Li

“For so many years, we could only think about Huang Li in our hearts since she never contacted us and we didn’t know how to find her, not until we saw your granddaughter-in-law on stage, during the last completion held in December. She looked a little similar to Huang Li and she mentioned the name of her parents as Late Mr. and Mrs. Qin. My first daughter remembered that surname because the man Huang Li eloped with, bore the same surname. This matter reminded us about Huang Li who has been missing for 25 years now, so we decided to look for her, by going to your granddaughter-in-law’s hometown…”

Old Mrs. Huang began to narrate their experiences at Jia Li’s hometown, including the conversations they had with Jia Li’s neighbor and her Aunt.

Grandfather Fu and Fu Hua couldn’t believe how shameless Mu Keer was and no matter how angry they were, they didn’t interrupt the old lady.

The Huang family’s first daughter and second son who went to Jia Li’s hometown with their mother also chipped in a few words.

The first daughter of the Huang family looked vexed when she recounted how she found out that Mu Keer had deceived them with false information, which left them utterly confused.

Fu Hua was the person that spoke immediately after the Huang’s finished speaking.

“Jia Li’s Aunt has a big resentment for Jia Li. And the reason is that my wife refused to give her money.”

The second son of the Huang family nodded and said, “Now I can tell the reason that woman would lie to us.”

“Please, this question is important to us, can you tell us how my daughter and her husband died?” Old Mrs. Huang asked with an emotional tone.

Grandfather Fu sighed and shut his eyes. The memory of Jia Li’s parents’ death was not something anyone would want to remember because it was painful.

Fu Hua looked more like he didn’t want to talk about it and he was grateful that Jia Li was not present in this meeting, otherwise, it would have been traumatic for her.

Now, it was clear to the Huang family that their daughter and sister must have died in a cruel way, seeing how the Grandfather and grandson weren’t saying anything.

“General, please, I’m begging you to tell me how my daughter died. I haven’t seen her for so many years only to learn that she died over 3 years ago.” Old Mrs. Huang pleaded.

“Mr. Fu, please tell us what happened to our sister, I believe we have the right to know. Already, the lady we met at the graveyard told us that Mu Keer’s husband had a hand in her death.” The first daughter of the Huang family said and finally, Grandfather Fu decided to speak up.

“It’s not like we don’t want to say anything but that the past memory is too bitter for us to talk about it at will. If you must know how Huang Li died, I will tell you about it. Jia Li’s parents were killed in their living room when Jia Li was still with us here in this City.”

As Grandfather Fu broke this news to them, Old Mrs. Huang’s eyes welled up in tears, as she couldn’t believe that her daughter had died in such an unexpected way.

When the second daughter of the Huang family asked how their sister was killed, Fu Hua recounted the incident to them, which caused their hearts to bleed.

Learning how Mu Keer’s husband caused their sister’s death and the guts she had to lie to them and to also ask them for money, the Huang family suddenly wanted to appear in front of Mu Keer and end her life immediately.

It took a while for Old Mrs. Huang to be consoled. It wasn’t easy to accept the fact that she was never going to see her daughter again and now that she learned how she had died in such an unjust way, her heart was bleeding.

After their emotions were stabilized, Fu Hua showed the gold pendant to the Huang family to ask them if they knew about it.

Old Mrs. Huang wanted to snatch the pendant from him but because she was sitting opposite of him and the couch wasn’t close, she couldn’t lay her hands on it.

“That should belong to Huang Li right, where did you get it from?” Old Mrs. Huang asked emotionally.

“It now belongs to my wife after her mother left it behind. I think she had hopes of her daughter finding her family again, so she still kept this.” Fu Hua revealed.

Old Mrs. Huang nodded repeatedly before politely asking if she could see it and of course, Fu Hua passed it to her.

The way Old Mrs. Huang caressed the gold pendant, could tell how important it meant to her. It looked like the Huang family recognized the gold pendant as well.

The second daughter of the Huang family was the one that spoke.

“My mother had this pendant customized for each of us on Li’s birthday. Li wanted a picture of us Sisters and our mother together and after taking the pictures, our mother went to the goldsmith to customize this pendant for each of her daughters and our names were engraved on them. I don’t even know where I kept mine but it looks like my sister kept hers in a safe place for so many years.”

Old Mrs. Huang did not return the pendant to Fu Hua immediately. She continued to caress it as she went down memory lane.

“General, please can we see any photos of our sister if you have any? We don’t know what she looks like after so many years since she left our family.” The first son of the Huang family asked.

Grandfather Fu tapped his fingers on his thighs and replied, “The pictures that I know of, are in the Qin family’s residence, hanging on the wall of their living room. If you want to see the recent pictures of your sister, I will have to send someone to fetch them.”

“Grandfather, Jia Li has a family photo album here.” Fu Hua replied and immediately all gazes fell on him.
