The Hidden Wife Of The Cold CEO

Chapter 150 - Jia Li Rejects A Call During Breakfast With Fu Hua

The next morning, Jia Li wakes up because of the hand that was gently squeezing her boob. She slowly opened her eyes and yawned, before glancing at the hand that was touching her.

She turned over to glance at Fu Hua, and their eyes met.

"Good Morning!" Jia Li greeted as she moved his hand away from her boob.

"Morning!" Fu Hua replied with his gaze on her.

Jia Li couldn't stand his gaze, and so sat up and tried to get out of bed, but knowing she was still naked, and her clothes a little far from her, she had to think twice.

Fu Hua glanced at her hair which was still in a bun and stretched his hands to set it free, and it was too late for Jia Li to catch her hair.

Fu Hua watched her long black-ink hair fall behind her like waves. He appreciated her hair and even sat up to admire it.

As Jia glanced at him, she caught his gaze on her hair and wondered what was so special about her hair.

As if just staring at the hair wasn't enough, Fu Hua went on to touch it, and he couldn't help complimenting her.

"I like your hair." He said in a low tone.

"Thank you!" Jia Li said.

She had no idea if Fu Hua had a thing for a woman's long hair, because the way he was staring at it with deep appreciation, seemed odd.

As Jia Li had things to do in the morning, like preparing breakfast and gathering her things, she had to get out of bed.

She was already feeling very hungry and tired after waking up late.

Fu Hua was kind enough to get out of bed stack naked and went into the bathroom, allowing Jia Li to be comfortable with getting out of bed, naked.

Jia Li picked up her clothes and left for her bedroom. Within some minutes, she washed up and went into the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

An hour and 30 minutes later, Jia Li was through with the breakfast preparation and served it, before going to call Fu Hua.

Fu Hua was in the workshop when she came to call him for breakfast, and he was amazed when he saw the breakfast laid out on the dining table.

He didn't expect she would prepare that much (even though it wasn't much) since she still looked very tired when she woke up.

Jia Li and Fu Hua settled down to have a hearty breakfast.

From the way Jia Li was eating, Fu Hua could tell how hungry she was. She wasn't eating too quickly, but you could still tell when a hungry person was eating.

Fu Hua liked the way she eats, because she doesn't fake anything, unlike his ex-girlfriend that ate so little, probably because she needed to watch her weight.

While eating, Jia Li's phone began to ring. She has to pause with the eating to check who was calling.

Seeing the name boldly written, her heartbeat increased by a few paces. She was a little afraid as she glanced at Fu Hua, whose attention was still on his food.

Because of the identity of the caller, Jia Li didn't want to answer the call in Fu Hua's presence, so she declined it, and continued to eat.

Luckily, the person didn't call back again, and her mind which was in turmoil became at ease.

Actually, Fu Hua saw her decline the call, but he didn't say anything to her. He only wondered who the person that called her was, while he continued eating.

Today's breakfast went equally, and it was more like 50:50 because both Jia Li and Fu Hua ate an equal share of the food.

They also cleared everything that was served.

After taking her drugs, Jia Li finished the remaining rice congee in her bowl.

After breakfast, Fu Hua helped Jia Li to send the plates to the kitchen before going to his room to pack his things.

Jia Li washed the plates and cleaned up the kitchen before going to pack her things as well.

When it clocked 11 AM, Jia Li had to dress up and leave for school in a cab, while thinking that she would complete the remaining work when she comes back.

As Jia Li went to school to submit her assignment, Fu Hua was left all alone in the house. After tidying up things in his bedroom, he went to the study to gather their things.

When he was getting exhausted, he made a cup of black coffee and drank, before going back to his work.

When he finished from the workshop, he went into Jia Li's bedroom to look around, and when he saw that she didn't finish up before leaving, he helped and continued from where she left.

Jia Li spent over two hours in school before submitting her assignment.

Her teacher was amazed by her work, and said to her, "Jia Li you have gifted hands, and the dress was sewn perfectly. You're sure to get your dress sold quickly."

Jia Li smiled because the reason the dress she made was perfect was that Fu Hua guided her.

Jia Li would be sure to get paid half of the money that would be made from the dress when it was sold.

Jia Li's college was prestigious and lived up to its name. When assignments like these (dressmaking) were given, they would help the students that made the best dresses, to sell their dresses and the rights to the design.

When the money was made, they would give half of the profits made to the students.

Looking for a buyer wasn't a problem. Because of the high reputation of her school, many fashion companies, especially young ones, would always come to them to buy the best clothes, and the rights to make them.

After submitting her assignment and receiving the project she had some weeks to work on, she left her teacher's office.

Waking towards the school, gate, she remembered that she had a call to return, so she took out her phone from her trouser pocket to return the call she declined during breakfast.
