If a spoiled brat stays with another spoiled brat for two weeks, can Devin sustain?

''Madam drama queen, stop with your emotional drama,'' Leena snapped at her friend. She can take care of Cutie for even a month, but the only problem Leena has was Devin. Gone were the days of grown-ups. Now, she has to keep an eye on kids. ''I will take well care of bratty Cutie.''

''Thank you, Leena.'' Jane hugged her friend tightly in happiness, ''Savny is no more a spoiled brat. She is very well behaved.'' Jane said, looking at her daughter, to which Cutie nodded her head.

Leena scoffed at mother and daughter's acting. Mother, father, and daughter had created a perfect plan.

'''Cutie, come here,'' Jane called her daughter, who was playing with Carrot. 

''Yes, mom.''

''You must behave well. Don't anger your Leena, alright? Remember all the points I said at home.''

''Yes, mom.'' Like a well-behaved kid, she nodded her head. Her mom only told, she has to behave well until the housewarming party. She will keep her word. 

''Alright, go, and play with Carrot,'' Jane put her daughter down and turned to her friend. ''When is Reese coming?''

''She will come in a while. Madam is busy nowadays.'' Collapsing on the bed, Leena propped her elbow on bed. ''Reese also confessed her feelings for Andrew.''

''Wedding bells are going to ring soon.'' 

''She has to get a green signal from her brother.'' 

''That venomous snake.'' Jane squeezed Carrot's plush toy as if it was Jasper. 

''We will think of him later. Let's go. We have to start with the preparations.'' With that, Leena and Jane went out of the room.

Meanwhile, Devin finished a meeting, and just when he entered the living room to check up on Leena to see what she is up to, a servant informed him of another visitor. He didnot expect Kyle here. According to Leena, Kyle is not going to attend the party because she has some other plans. 

''Hi Kyle, how are you?'' Devin felt she is a little anxious today.

''I am good. How are you? I mean your_''

''Didn't you tell me you had some other plans?'' 

Kyle gripped her dress tightly when Leena's piercing voice entered into her ears. She realized her mistake when she sent a text to Leena that she would not attend the party. For the past two days, Landon has suffocated her to death with his tight security around her home. She was praying he should get stuck with a priority work on Sunday so that she can escape from the date, and to her relief, it happened. Landon's dad was returning from a business trip, and he postponed their date to next week. He warned her not to go to the party, but she escaped and landed here.

''Actually, Leena, I_''

''Leena,'' Devin interrupted Kyle and turned to Leena. ''It's not good manners. She is our guest.''

''Even I was offended when she rejected.'' She pouted her lips, staring at Kyle angrily. 

''I_I am sorry for coming here unannounced.'' Kyle wiped her tears, startling Leena. She is not a weak girl to cry for silly reasons. But Kyle had a hard time coping with her life for the past two days. She thought coming here would help her drowning heart, but she was wrong. What did she expect? A grand welcome from Leena? She can understand Leena's predicament. ''Sorry for disturbing you. I will take my leave.'' Kyle turned around to leave with a heavy heart, and not before she took a step forward, Leena caught her hand. ''Are you crying?''

''No.'' She whispered, trying to break free from Leena's clutches, but she found Leena's grip over her hand was firm.

''I was only joking.'' Leena's voice turned gentle. ''I didnot intend to hurt you.''

''I_I thought you were serious,'' Kyle struggled to voice her words through a hiccup.

''It's because I am a natural actor. Does my acting worth Oscar?'' Leena's solemn words turned the gloomy atmosphere into mirth. 

Kyle hummed in response, wiping her tears with the back of her hand.

''Take her inside,'' Devin said and went inside to let them have privacy.

Instead of taking Kyle to the bedroom, Leena led her to the kitchen. ''I will introduce my family to you.''

 ''The one playing with the cute pupper is Cutie, my brother's daughter.''

''Hello, Auntie.'' Cutie obediently bowed her head which surprised Leena the second time. When did this brat turn into the most obedient? Until the housewarming party, Cutie uttered in her mind. Her mother promised she would give her a little brother or little sister if she stays with Leena for two weeks without annoying her. Her mom and dad also know two weeks is highly impossible. So, finally, they cut down to one day.

''Aww! You are so adorable.'' Kyle lifted the girl, and kissed her cheek. If she has a daughter in the future, she will want to have an obedient girl like Cutie.

One by one, Leena introduced Aunt Jalapeno, Nick, and Jane to Kyle. In the process, she forgot the most important person. When Leena heard a growl directing at her, she realized. ''Oh, my Carrot! I am sorry, baby. Let me introduce you to our guest.'' Leena glanced at Kyle. ''She is Carrot. My baby.''

''Hi, Carrot.'' Kyle squatted to her height and ruffled Carrot's head. ''I am Kyle.''

As a gesture that she approved of her friendship, Carrot extended her paw. Kyle accepted a sweet smile on her face.

Just then, a servant arrived and informed them about another visitor, Kurt. The moment Kurt's name was mentioned, Aunt Jalapeno fled out of the kitchen like a Usain Bolt. ''I will go, and receive him.''

'''His nightmares will start again,'' Nick muttered with a grin. 

Hearing Kurt's name, Kyle felt butterflies in her stomach. Without her conscience, she turned her heels.

On the other hand, Kurt stood outside impatiently, waiting for someone to open the door. He kicked the door with a bang when they were delaying his time. ''Doesn't this house have a sensor? How long you are going to take_''

His voice stuck on the throat when the door widely opened. Standing in front of him wearing a huge grin was none other than the nightmare of his life. ''A_untttttt Jalapenooo.'' Kurt muttered in disbelief. How? Why is she here? Should I take a detour and run? Unlike Nick, Kurt was not lucky this time. 

''You are as strong as an OX.'' Kurt stiffened when he felt the pair of hands squeeze him from behind. Why must I run into her? 

His thoughts ceased when he heard a girl's laughter from inside. He peeked at the girl and was shocked for the second time. Kyle? Why is she here? But that's not the point.. He lost his pride in front of this woman again. Can this day get any better?
