The Devil's Sweetheart

After Devin dropped her at the office, she went into the office to cool Reese. Every day, both would go to the office together and since Devin was here, she wanted to spend time with him. So, she left Reese, and now she is fretting.

"Reese, why don't get a boyfriend now that I am in a relationship," Leena spoke up entering Reese's room.

"No one is ready to date me after hearing the rumors between us," Reese explained pulling out a file from her.

"I will find you one." Leena pondered for a while to search for a man and instantly a face popped up but she snubbed it thinking that he is already in a peculiar relationship.

"I don't want to date any_"

Her thoughts cut off when Leena's mobile ringed ending their deep conversation about finding a boyfriend for Reese. Despite Leena didn't save the contact number, she knew who it was. Instantly she cut the call and went in to speak with her but she was interrupted by the caller ID again.

"Is it your dad?" Reese asked. Leena would never ignore calls from anyone except that person.

"He is not my dad, Reese." She sternly declared.

"I am sorry. It just rolled out of my tongue." Reese explained. She knew Leena doesn't like her father but sometimes he would persistently call her if he needs anything from her. "Lift the call and ask what he wants now."

"I hate talking to him." She ignored the call but the person was persistently calling her despite her ignorance and she lifted the call. "He doesn't have any shame."

"Why are you ignoring my calls?" The first thing Leena heard when she picked up. "I know you hate me for being bad_"

"What is the purpose of your call, Mr.Hayes?" Leena cut him off. "I have no time to listen to your sentimental dialogues."

"As arrogant as always." He sighed. "Your sister's eighteenth birthday. is approaching. I expect your presence on that day."

"She is not my sister. FYI, I have no relationship with your family. Please don't call me again. Have some shame when I am not picking up."

"Leena!" He reprimanded. "Watch what you speak. Don't behave like your mother. You will only end up like her eventually. Have little respect to_"

"Don't talk about my mom with your filthy mouth. I don't even think twice to beat you. Do you want me to call my Francy and tell him to cut off your pea-sized share in the company?"

"You insolent_"

Reese snatched the mobile and ended the call in the middle. Leena giggled at Reese's protectiveness. "Even you can't tolerate his noise?"

"I hate when someone bullies you, Leena," Reese admitted.

"Do you think he has the gall to bully me?" Leena laughed throwing her head back. "He is just a paper tiger, Reese. He would pee on his pants if I just glare at him."

"Are you going to the party, then?" She asked. She doesn't want Leena to go to that place alone.

"Of course yes. I need him to teach a small lesson to him." Leena has already agreed to go to the party. Looks like I will have to face a drama with that poop head family.

Closing her eyes, Leena recalled the past when she was little. She has only taken a glimpse of her father when he arrived at Heacis mansion after a year of her accident but that was also to tell about his newborn daughter's news. Francis has never made Leena forget her father eventually to the point that he has become a stranger.

It's no point in thinking about him. With a loud sigh, Leena got back to work.

Devin was working sitting in his office when a message popped up. Recently, like an idiot, he has been checking his mobile now and then to see if his Leena has messaged or not.

[My crazy idiot: My dear babylicious....my sweety Devinnnnn...Can you teach me photography this weekend]

A slow smile escaped from his lips showcasing his dimple. In seconds he replied.

[What will I get in return. I am a businessman after all.]

[My crazy idiot: One Euro]

"She has concluded my photography skills worth one Euro?" Devin replied that he agreed to her proposal provided that he decides the place. He wanted to take her to a private place to let her learn freely.

When he was deeply chatting with Leen, Harley knocked on the door and entered in.

"We have to go to a meeting." She said.

Devin nodded his head and texted a goodbye and added a kiss emoji. He knew she would be flushing after seeing the message. He got up and went along with her. Right when the elevator was about to close, Regina and Blake entered stopping it.

"Good morning, sir" She shyly greeted Devin. Watching Regina and Devin, Blake felt that she was the only one who could match Devin's status. With her calm demeanor, her considerate attitude towards others, she was a perfect example of beauty along with the brain. But when he saw Devin's puppy love actions with that arrogant woman on that day, he did not like it. But he was not in a position to talk about it.

After they got down from the elevator, Devin didn't spare any glance despite Regina tried to talk with him and walked along with Harley.

"I don't like her, Devin." Harley voiced out. "I feel she is physiologically ill."

"Good that we both fell the same." Devin gets nauseous when she bites her nails as if she doesn't have anything to eat other than that.

"What if she tries to harm Leena. I think she has feelings for you."

"She will rot in hell if she does something to Leena. Besides, Leena is not an easy catch, dear sister." He knew that woman is mentally sick. But he doesn't have any proof to throw her out of the company.. If she dares any act on Leena, he would not spare her life.
