The Devil's Sweetheart

Leena was not bothered when the person in front of her was banging his new manager or uncle William. But when she thought that he would snatch Devin away from her, she immediately went to protective mode. Although Devin was confused by the sudden shift, he did not ask her.

"Hello, Uncle Pumpkin." Leena greeted him with a smile. Although she was standing in front of Devin, she couldn't cover him entirely. Damn, his height.

"Morning, Leena dear." Uncle Pumpkin glanced at the person standing behind Leena and he instantly recognized him. Who doesn't know him? But he was stunned to see him along with Leena. Although he considers himself as a celebrity for being famous with the balloon condoms, he would feel giddy whenever he sees a celebrity just like now. "Is it Wang Devin? What is your relationship with him?

"Aren't you introducing him to me?" Uncle pumpkin interrupted urgently.

Left with no choice, she cursed and glanced at Devin. "Umm...Devin, he is my neighbor, uncle_"

"Jack Condom." Uncle Pumpkin cut her words in the middle and offered a handshake while he added. "Closed ones call me Uncle Pumpkin and my employees call me, Mr. Condom. Since you appear to be close to Leena, you can call me Uncle Pumpkin."

Devin parted his lips in shock hearing his name but soon he composed himself and lent a handshake. "Pleased to meet you, Mr.C__ Uncle Pumpkin." He has never heard someone is willingly asking to call with that bizarre name. Jurassic Park and Lord Voldemort are better compared to his names.

"Do you want to visit my home?" He asked in anticipation.

"Maybe some other time, Uncle Pumpkin," Leena spoke up. "He has to leave for office for an urgent meeting. I will bring him some other day."

"Alright." He winked at Devin taking him by surprise.

Leena wanted to strangle Uncle Pumpkin for eyeing her property but she controlled the rage since he makes delicious food for her. Bidding a goodbye, Leena tried to drag Devin away but Uncle Pumpkin cut her off and pulled Devin while he whispered into his ears. "Ginger, garlic, blueberry blast, banana burst, grapey gush, pineapple, I have all the flavors that you need."

"What are they?" Devin asked. Confusion crossed his features. He did not understand the reason he started talking about fruits and spices out of blue.

"Those are the condom flavors which I sell in our company. You need them to spice up your life. We have other types of_"

"Thanks. But no thanks." Devin suspended his thoughts. What kind of absurd thing he is gloating about? He would never use that kind of sick things even in the future.

"I have to leave for the office." Having said that, Devin left along with wine Leena.

Watching the retiring figure, Uncle pumpkin scoffed. "What is so good about him that he has been named as the most handsome man? He doesn't even have a belly that would shake, unlike my new manager. I don't like him at all." Thinking of that person, Uncle Pumpkin did not want to go to the office today and messaged his manager to come to his home for a cup of coffee. Within seconds he got a positive reply. With a triumphant smile, he went inside.

"Uncle Pumpkin is a very nice person. Don't judge him by his looks." Leena started stepping into the car.

"No sweetheart. I don't judge a person by his looks. I was just wondering why on the earth he has such bizarre surname."

Leena explained about the Condom company he started along with his habits and finally, Devin had a rough idea about his traits. One thing he understood, he is crazy just like Leena. No wonder they are neighbors.

"Francy asked me to bring you home," Leena told.

"Is it? Can go now." Devin was scheming a plan to ask for marriage directly with Francis. "I will ask Harley to_"

"You seem to be very desperate but you have to wait." Leena suddenly recalled Devin's closeness with Francis at the hotel. She wanted to ask him about their relationship from that day but forgot about it. "How long you have been knowing him? Are you very close?"

"He has been close to me since my childhood. He is even closer than my friends."

Leena admired their relationship. I don't need to face any threats now that both are close.

Devin dropped her at the office and he wanted to go into the office but Leena did not allow him. Until their relationship is made public, she wants to keep him for herself. If Mandy sees him along with her, it would be on the headlines tomorrow. Reluctantly, Devin agreed and went home to get ready for the office.

Ethan walked into a hotel where he has to meet his friend and he was already waiting for him. "I am sorry for the wait Martin."

"Hello, Ethan. That's not an issue." Martin added. "I will get to the point straight away."

"When the package was delivered to your office, there was a power outage for a couple of minutes. Although it was a trusted site that delivered it to you, the person is missing to find it. It looks deliberate. Someone in the office close to you must have gone to the electric source room. You must be aware of the people close to you."

"It's my mom, dad, my fiance, and sometimes my friend. I could only think of these people." He should have thought a little before acting on that day before acting rashly on Leena. Who was accountable for it. It was evident that it is to break them apart. His dad doesn't know about Leena. His mom and Casey don't like her. But he was wondering they would go to such an extent of tormenting another girl image.

"Make sure that you are not alerting them until we catch the culprit," Martin explained.
