Within less than a minute, Lucas got the system notifications he was waiting for and checked the skill list.

'All skills look good.'

There was a reason why Lucas made the Spring Basilisk as one of the spirit beasts he chose to sacrifice before knowing that he could pick whatever skills he liked because, if he was randomly given anyone from the five skills shown on the list, he would have been satisfied.

That's the reason why quasi-lesser knights go for spirit beasts like Spring Basilisk and Thunder behemoth which have no weak skills.

'First two skills, there is no need for that, as I can buy the poison for myself to use on my enemies. But the thing is, the last three skills are good.'

Soon, Lucas started his selection by the elimination process just like before as he continued thinking about the skills.

'Stun is a good skill, but I wonder what is the criterion he had to meet.'

Lucas started thinking for a while before eliminating the skill 'Stun' and after some time, he finalized on selecting the skill 'Absolute digestion'.

Even though he selected that skill since the system can't give the complete details regarding the skills, then he could only hope, the skill is what he thought it was.

Just like before, he got the confirmation system notifications and without wasting any time, Lucas opened his user interface to check his new skill.

          Skill name:- Absolute digestion (Passive).

          Skill level:- Level 1

          Effect:- Whenever the user eats something, his body would digest it and absorb the knight energy in it within no time.

        Note:- 1) Eating the same thing again and again will decrease the effectiveness of the skill.

                    2) The higher the grade of the food he consumes, the more knight energy he gets.

'Hmm'

Lucas was neither excited nor disappointed with the effect of his skill as he nodded his head.

Just like the mages, Knights have to replenish their Knight energy and there were many training techniques for that.

However, with the help of this skill, Lucas could replenish his knight energy faster by consuming and if he learned one of the Knight energy recovering techniques, he would be much stronger than anyone in the same rank or one rank higher than him.

"Are you up for some hunting?"

Since he became a tier 2 lesser knight and has a lot of time to return, Lucas decided to test his new skills and battle prowess.

However, the white tiger didn't answer his question; instead, she requested the body of the thunder behemoth.

Lucas knew why the white tiger was asking him for the carcass of the thunder behemoth; however, he was not magnanimous to freely give away such a precious spirit beast's carcass.

The white tiger asked as she more or less understood the human's character that he would not give away anything for free.

Lucas replied to the white tiger about his condition; however, to his surprise, the white tiger didn't even think for a second before nodding her head.

'Is it that easy to tame the spirit beasts nowadays?'

Lucas joked himself because from his memories, he knew that other than the beast tamers or those who got the spirit beasts eggs, it was impossible for others to tame a spirit beast.

However, Lucas tamed a rank 3 white tiger without a contract.

Even though it was most likely because of the baby white tiger, Lucas still made the white tiger listen to his order without using any force.

"Eat it and recover your strength."

While saying that, Lucas threw the three-meter carcass of the thunder behemoth at the white tiger.

It was very common in the spirit beasts' world that they recover much quicker by consuming other spirit beasts. Not only recovering, but they would also grow powerful.

In some rare cases, they might even awaken the skill or mutate or evolve.

'Little one, you also come out and have a taste of it.'

At the same time, Lucas summoned the winged white tiger to consume the spirit beast.

Since there were many good things that could happen to a spirit beast that consumes other spirit beasts, why would he not allow his future- sovereign level spirit beast to consume the carcass of a powerful spirit beast lke thunder behemoth.
