'However, which path should I choose for them?'

Since there were three easy evolutionary paths that he could select, he thought about it because once the evolution is completed, the future evolutionary paths for the evolved lynxes would be limited.

For that reason, he thought about the paths for the two elemental lynxes for a moment and since he didn't have much time to consider the pros and cons of each evolutionary path, he selected one path that he felt was what he needed right now.

'I will select Elemental knight lynx.'

Right now, he doesn't have a use for the Elemental assassin lynx who aims for the kill and the Elemental mage lynx who deals a lot of damage.

However, the Elemental knight lynx could bring his current situation under control as it could subdue the Star lynx with raw force.

'Ding,

          Are you sure about the evolutionary path? Once evolution starts, it is impossible to go back.

'I am sure about it.'

Since Evolution was a big deal for the spirit beasts, of course, the system would make sure whether he was making the right decision or not. 

However, Lucas didn't think much about it and directly nodded his head.

'Ding,

          Please place your hands on the lynxes you want to evolve.

Soon, Lucas placed his hands on the two elemental lynxes that were mustering their courage to stand up.

'It's okay. Everything will be alright. Just close your eyes and relax and by the time you open your eyes, I will make you powerful.'

With a slight smile on his face,  Lucas tried to remove their fear towards the star lynx with words.

Even though he was not hoping his words would be effective, Lucas just wanted them to forget about their fear. So, he promised that he would make them stronger by the time they opened their eyes.

'Mew~'

Surprisingly, the two elemental spirit lynxes looked into Lucas' eyes for a moment before closing their eyes and relaxed on the ground.

The other lynxes looked at the two elemental lynxes that Lucas placed his hands on and shook their heads as though they were thinking, 'Very weak'.

They were not wrong about them either because, among the 12 lynxes around Lucas, the two elemental lynxes were only mid-level rank 4 spirit beasts.3

What's more, they were still in their basic form and yet to go through their first evolution.

'Good. Now I can start the evolving process.'

As for Lucas, he didn't bother what the other lynxes were thinking; instead, with a slight smile on his face, he focused on evolving the two elemental lynxes at once.

'Ding,

          Starting the evolution process for the two elemental lynxes.

'Ding,

          Procuring the ingredients automatically from the host. Please close your eyes to see the virtual evolution process.

Just as he placed his eyes, Lucas heard a couple of system notifications in his head and closed his eyes to see the evolution process.

Soon, Lucas felt like he entered an endless space and in front of his eyes, he saw two elemental lynxes that sat down without doing anything.

'Drip'

In the next second, a drop of blood fell on each of them, before disappearing without a trace.

'Huh? Is that my blood?'

Since the evolution process requires the blood of a Knight, Lucas guessed it was none other than his blood and continued muttering, 'Looks like the blood is completely absorbed by them.'

As he saw there were no traces of blood on the places where they fell, Lucas felt it was absorbed by them.

'Next will be my knight energy, right?'

The other required ingredient was his knight energy. So, he was waiting for how much knight energy they would require to finish their evolution.

'Ding,

          Detected an anomaly. The elemental lynxes' bodies are stronger than the regular elemental lynxes.

'Ding,

          The elemental lynx's body can absorb more drops of the host' blood.

'Ding,

          Do you want to supply them with more blood or do you just want to continue with the same evolution process?

Just when he felt everything was going right, Lucas suddenly received a series of system notifications that surprised him for a moment.

'Just supply more blood. I want them to become as powerful as possible after evolution.'

It was common knowledge that the more blood they absorb during evolution, the stronger they would become after the evolution process.

So, Lucas went all out with the evolution process.

Soon, one drop after another drop of blood fell on the two elemental lynxes as they were rapidly sucked into their bodies.

The blood drops only stopped after the elemental lynxes absorbed their 15th drop.

'Looks like they are full. Can you take the next step and finish the evolution?'

If it was any other time, Lucas would have not bothered much; however, he was hoping to tame the rank 5 star lynx using these two elemental lynxes; however, he was running out of time and he was barely left with less than two minutes.

'Ding,

          Detected an anomaly in the blood.

'What? Another anomaly?'

Lucas facepalmed when he saw the other system notification and could not help but reveal a bitter smile as he asked, 'What is it this time?'

'Ding,

          The host's blood contains all three professions 'Knight', 'Mage' and 'Assassin' along with other professions.

'Ding,

        If the host wants to change the current evolution process into a custom evolution process, you can send the energy from the respective profession into the elemental lynxes.

'Ding,

        The host can even send the energy from multiple professions without fearing the increment in the evolution time.

'What?'

Lucas was pleasantly surprised when he saw the detailed system notification regarding the second anomaly and without wasting any hesitation, he sent energy from four professions.

'Knight energy'

'Assassin energy'

'Magic power'

'Tamer's vitality'

He gave permission to the system to take the energy from all four of his combat-type professions.

'I hope they will become very powerful lynxes after their evolution.'

Lucas was hoping to see two powerful lynxes soon.
