Sovereign of the Firmaments

When Lucas looked at the 12 lynxes around him, an idea popped up in his head.

'Even though it might not help me, I think it is worth giving it a shot.'

With that thought in his head, Lucas looked at the lynxes one after another using his [Lynx master] skill.

'Ding,

          Spirit beast name:- Blizzard lynx

          Strength:- High-level rank 4.

          Skills:- Snowstorm, Freeze, Ice skating….

          Evolution paths:- 1) Sky blizzard lynx  2) Mighty snow lynx…..5) Armoured Blizzard lynx.

Lucas started with the powerful-looking lynxes which had five evolution paths and each one of them required the items that Lucas didn't have in his hand.

'That's right! I should try to level normal-looking lynxes.'

Among the 12 lynxes that Lucas tamed, six of them were very special and Blizzard lynx was one of them.

Naturally, they have more evolution paths and each one of them require a lot of items that were either rare or currently unavailable to Lucas right now.

So, he thought of checking the evolutionary paths of normal lynxes.

Even though he said normal lynxes, compared to the lynxes in the Baron and Viscount grounds, they have good battle prowess and are powerful.

'Ding, 

          Spirit beast name:- Woodland lynx

          Strength:- Mid-level rank 4.

          Skills:- Natural hunter, Bite…..

          Evolution paths:- 1) Horned woodland lynx 2) Dark forest Lynx 3) Emerald woodland lynx.

'What? These also required a lot of rare materials.'

Lucas bitterly shook his head when he saw the materials required for the evolutionary paths.

'The materials for the evolutionary paths of both special and normal lynxes are more or less the same.'

Lucas felt the idea he got was useless.

'Should I continue checking?'

Even though he lost all hope, deep down, he still wanted to see whether there were any evolutionary paths that required only a few items and the items he currently had with him.

Actually, Lucas' idea was to help a lynx evolve and naturally, evolving would help the spirit beast push into the next rank.

Later, with the help of his level 2 [Lynx master], Lucas would temporarily boost the newly evolved spirit beast to the next minor rank.

'If I can do it, I don't have to fight the star lynx with my own hands. As long as the star lynx gets defeated in the hands of these lynx, its arrogance would disappear without a trace.'

At least that's what Lucas thought and continued to check all the available evolutionary paths for the lynxes around him.

'Even if I can't find the evolutionary path to complete right now, I can only curse my luck and use the item I am saving for the last.'

With that thought in his head, Lucas continued to check all the evolutionary paths for all the lynxes.

'Thorny lynx….materials are rare to evolve.'

'Sand lynx….even though the materials are not rare, currently I don't have them. I need much simpler materials to evolve.'

Lucas continued to check and it didn't matter to him whether it was a special lynx or not. 

He understood one thing after checking so many evolutionary paths of the lynxes that the number of the evolutionary paths and the grade of the evolution was completely random.

'Ding,

          Spirit beast name:- Poison lynx.

          Strength:- High-level rank 4.

          Skills:- Poison bite, Poison smoke…..

          Evolutionary paths:- 12

'What? A total of 12 evolutionary paths?'

Lucas was shocked to see the 12 evolutionary paths as it was the highest number he had seen.

Until now, the highest number he had seen was only 5 and compared to that 12 was very high.

'Ding,

        The barrier will break in three minutes.

Suddenly. Lucas received a system notification informing him about the remaining time of the barrier.

'This is not the time to get shocked. The star lynx looks very furious and at the same time, it looks very powerful now.'

The star lynx continued to attack the barrier one attack after another; however, there was nothing it could do to the barrier, making it even more angry.

'I need to hurry up.'

Soon, Lucas resumed his work of checking the materials required for the evolutionary path of the lynx.

'Th…this is…is the one I am looking for.'

Finally, Lucas' gaze stopped on a spirit beast that looked like a crystalline beast.

'Wait a second, there is another lynx from the same race.'

The two lynxes that looked like twins were known as Elemental lynxes

'Ding,

          Spirit beast name:- Elemental lynx.

          Strength:- High-level rank  4

          Skills:- Elemental claw, elemental blade, elemental blast….

          Evolutionary paths:- Unlimited.

          More information:- An elemental lynx is a spirit beast that is born with an affinity with all elements, allowing it to evolve into any element it wants. Thus, there are unlimited evolutionary paths to it.

          Interesting fact:- Elemental lynx is the basic form of any lynx.

The first thing that shocked Lucas about these spirit beasts was their 'Unlimited evolutionary path'.

'Show me the easiest but strongest evolutionary path.'

After checking more and more evolutionary paths, Lucas became good with how to use his skill [Lynx master] to the best of his ability.

Basically, the ability was to merge the usage of his skill along with the system's help.

'Ding,

          There are three easy evolutionary paths that require only less than three ingredients.

'Ding,

        1) Elemental knight lynx:- A drop of a Knight's blood regardless of his strength along with a steady supply of Knight energy until the evolutionary process is completed.

        Note:- More powerful the knight is, the more powerful the evolved spirit beast will be.

'Ding,

        2) Elemental Magic lynx:- A drop of a Mage's blood regardless of his strength along with a steady supply of Knight energy until the evolutionary process is completed.

'Ding,

        3) Elemental assassin lynx:- A drop of an Assasin's blood regardless of his strength along with a steady supply of Knight energy until the evolutionary process is completed.

Within no time, the system showed three evolutionary paths that require only two items. Moreover, they were very to collect.

'However, which path should I choose for them?'
