Since the three Haunting ethereals were staying in the Viscount grounds for a long time, Lucas asked them regarding the lynx type spirit beasts.

"I know of a place where a lynx was living in the Viscount grounds, master."

As Lucas expected, the leader of the haunting ethereals spoke all of a sudden, making Lucas excited a little bit.

"In Viscount grounds? Are you sure?"

Lucas asked with a doubtful look on his face because for the last two weeks, Lucas and Beck more or less checked the complete Viscount grounds; however, they didn't find a single one; however, the ethereal was telling him that there is a lynx spirit beast in the same region.

"Yes, master. I saw it while searching for you on that night."

The ethereal hesitated a little before replying to Lucas.

"Bring me to that place."

Without any hesitation, Lucas ordered the ethereals to take him to the place. Lucas didn't bother about the past anymore, right now, these three are his servants.

"Yes, master."

The leader of the Haunting ethereals heaved a sigh of relief as he guided both Lucas and Beck towards the Baron grounds.

"Don't tell me, the lynx is in the Baron grounds."

After walking for an hour, Lucas asked Buck with a surprised look on his face.

"No, but yes."

The real name of the leader of the haunting ethereals was Bucdiq; however, Lucas called it Buck in short whereas the other two were called Cruz and Noh.

"Huh?"

Lucas raised his brows when he heard the reply.

"Actually, it lives on the periphery of the Viscount grounds but it most hunts in the Baron grounds."

'Oh'

With Buck's explanation, Lucas finally understood what his earlier reply meant and he also understood why he was unable to find it in his previous hunting sessions because he hunted mostly in either Viscount grounds or Earl grounds.

"Master, do you see that normal-looking cave? It is that lynx's lair; however, be careful, the moment it hears something, it will run at an incredible speed."

Soon, they reached the outer periphery of the Viscount grounds as Buck pointed at a simple-looking cave.

"Oh. Interesting."

Lucas revealed a slight smile on his face while muttering, 'I should not miss this chance to catch it.'

As long as he gets its blood, Lucas could lure more lynx type spirit beasts in the earl grounds. So, he didn't want to mess this up.

"Okay then. Stay here.

After ordering everyone, Lucas sent the Phantom eagle who was also known as the Silent eagle.

It went into the cave without making a single noise and transmitted its voice.

'Master, I have restrained it. You can come in.'

Since the Phantom eagle is a rank 4 spirit beast, Lucas was confident in its battle prowess to subdue the lynx in the cave.

'Swoosh'

Without saying another word, Lucas directly rushed into the cave with great excitement.

'A rank 3 lynx?'

Lucas was surprised for a moment when he saw the lynx cowering in the corner of the cave.

It was just a rank 3 spirit beast and when it was captured by its own shadow, it could not help but shiver because it knew it was going to die.

"Phantom, release it from your shadow prison."

Shaking his head, Lucas ordered the phantom eagle, which did as he ordered. 

'Swoosh'

As soon as the shadow imprisoning the rank 3 lynx was gone, it looked at Lucas for a moment before rushing towards the exit of the cave.

The speed was so fast that Lucas barely saw it while trying to escape from the cave.

"Don't run, I am not going to kill you."

Lucas knew he didn't have time to say that many words because by the time he finished his words, it would disappear without a trace.

Instead, he summoned another spirit beast.

'Blackie'

The entrance of the cave was obstructed by the dark wind panther making it impossible for the lynx to escape.

'Crrr'

Just like a cat that was cornered, it growled at the panther.

'Lynx master'

As for Lucas, he didn't waste any time, as he directly used the skill to test its efficiency.

"Sit"

Lucas didn't know whether it would work or not but still tested it anyway by ordering the rank 3 lynx to sit.

As though some kind of invisible force had hit the lynx, it hurriedly turned towards Lucas and sat down.

Lucas gave the second command and the beast did without any delay.

"Cool. It is so easy."

Lucas felt it was such a cool skill to have; however, the problem was it would work only on the lynx type spirit beasts.

'Also, I think, it is because of the strength difference between me and the lynx that I was able to intimidate it completely in less than a second.'

Lucas knew it would not be the same for high-level lynx type spirit beasts.

"From now on, you need to follow me and should heed my commands."

According to the skill description, the intimidated spirit beasts would easily accept him as their leader. So, he tried that.

The rank 3 lynx nodded its head excitedly.

According to it, Lucas was strong and it was only right for it to follow him. That's how almost the spirit beast world works.

Lucas nodded his head as he finished testing the skill 'Lynx master' which made him nod his head.

     The rank 3 orange eared spirit lynx expected you as its master.

'Ding,

     The second effect of the skill 'Lynx master' is triggered. You can see all the possible evolution routes for the orange eared spirit lynx.

In the next second, Lucas received a couple of system notifications; however, he was not surprised; instead, he was waiting for them.

With that thought in his head, he looked at the spirit beast in front of him.
