Sovereign of the Firmaments

Lucas looked at the dungeon core that was completely black in colour and understood how the dungeon rewards the dungeon masters.

Whenever the adventurers enter a dungeon and expend their energy to kill the dungeon creatures, the dungeon gets some special energy to increase its grade and at the same time, a part of that energy would be converted into the specific items that the dungeon could produce before giving them to the dungeon master.

Also, the dungeons could absorb the bodies of the dead adventurers and it was the faster way to gain energy. Most of the dungeon master's prefer this method while showing the luxurious rewards just like the Mages guild's [Infernal dungeon].

Following the little fairy Freda's words, Lucas said, "Open the rewards."

Freda waved her little hands and a bronze treasure chest along with a pile of shining crystals appeared in front of Lucas.

'Oh'

Lucas was calm as he walked towards the shining crystals and picked one of them.

'Ding,

          Item name:- Spirit stone.

          Grade:- Low-level.

          Type:- Knight.

          Effect:- Increases the knight energy of an expert by 100 units.

          Note:- Repeated use of these spirit stones will progress the strength of the expert to the next tier or next rank.

'Huh? A spirit stone?'

Lucas felt like he had seen these stones in his memories from his predecessor; however, he was not sure whether they were spirit stones or not.

However, he was surprised that they were really the spirit stones.

'Looks like this dungeon produces low-level spirit stones at level 1. It is a good ability.'

Every dungeon produces its own items depending on its level. The higher the dungeon level was, the more items and the more high level those items would be.

'How the hell a spirit stone appears in this firmament?'

However, a question arose in Lucas' head as he looked at the 30 low-level spirit stones.

The reason why this firmament was called a Barren firmament was that even low-level spirit stones were not produced in this firmament.

So, he was surprised to see this dungeon produces low-level spirit stones when it was still at level 1.

'What's more, it produces three types of low-level spirit stones.'

That's right! Other than the grades like low, mid and high levels, the spirit stones were classified into different professions based on which type of energy it contained.

Other than the spirit stones with Knight energy, there were two other spirit stones that contained magic energy and the assassin energy.

'Don't tell me, I am in a different firmament.'

Lucas remembered that he was teleported into the dungeon. So, he came to that conclusion.

'Ding,

          Currently, the system is not capable of teleporting the host to other firmaments.

'Ding,

          The host is still in the Barren firmament and the current location of the dungeon is the Duke grounds of the 'Myriad Primordial forest'.

However, with the system's reply, his earlier guess was wrong and he found out the location of the dungeon.

'What? Duke grounds?'

It took some time to react to the system's reply because the duke grounds is a place where even Higher knights would be easily killed.

'If it is in the duke grounds, it will be troublesome to bring others into the dungeon.'

Actually, Lucas' plan was to conquer the dungeon and allow his family members and the followers to train in the dungeon to increase their battle prowess.

Not only his family members would become stronger but the dungeon spirit could absorb the energy expended by them (Of course, he would not use subordinates' death to increase the dungeon level).

However, if the dungeon was in the duke grounds, then before they could reach, they would be killed by the spirit beasts along the way.

<Master, there is no need for you to worry about that. The owner can use his energy to construct a teleportation portal to the entrance of the dungeon. Just place your hands on the dungeon core to see what you can do with your role as the 'Dungeon master'>

As though Freda was able to sense Lucas' thoughts, she explained what he could do as the dungeon master.

"Oh. Really? That's good."

Lucas' worry disappeared as he stored all the low-level spirit stones in the inventory.

'Ding,

          Low-level spirit stones (Knight) x 10.

'Ding,

          Low-level spirit stones (Mage) x 10.

'Ding,

          Low-level spirit stones (Assassin) x 10.

'Let's see what will happen if I touch the dungeon core.'

After storing the low-level spirit stones, Lucas placed his hands on the floating dungeon core.

'Ding,

          Dungeon Name:- Yet to be given.

          Dungeon level:- Level 1

          Owner:- Lucas Hellmore.

          Current benefits:- 30 low-level spirit stones (Knight+Mage+Assassin, 10 stones for each profession)

          Dungeon reset:- Max 10000 units of any type of energy.

          Note:- It varies depending on the clearance and damage of the dungeon.

          Additional functions:- Teleportation circle (Locked), Dungeon mobility (Locked), Spirit beast sanctuary (Locked) …. [Locked]...[Locked]...

        Note:- Only one function can be unlocked at the current level.

'It requires 10000 units to reset a level 1 dungeon?'

Lucas was a little bit surprised because compared to the reward, the restoration fee was high.

'Even though the low-level spirit stone only gives 100 units, they are rare and they could instantly recover that 100 units along with increasing the chances of breakthroughs. So, it is balanced I guess.'

An expert could recover his energy with time even by doing nothing. So, Lucas felt it was balanced.

'Also, currently, it is showing me only three functions and I can only unlock one of them.'

Lucas focused more on the additional features' section hoping to see the information on those functions.
