Reborn As A Dragon Girl With A System

Chapter 790: The Sects Stance

Chapter 790: The Sects Stance

“Humph, do you really think you can….”

“Wait!” The shadow guard who was guarding Yana, quickly jumped out. She was told to try to diffuse any situation that might occur and to keep a very good eye on Kana’s daughters because they can be impulsive. She came out as soon as Yana’s hand reached for the hilt of her sword.

“Hmmm?” Yana turned her cold eyes towards the woman who appeared in between her and the noisy girl. “You have been following me for a while, so I guess you must be the one the sect master had sent to guard me?”

The shadow guard quickly nodded her head. Even though her cultivation was much higher, she felt a lot of pressure on her from those eyes that were filled with killing intent. “Yes, the sect master asked me to diffuse the situation if it looks like you are about to kill someone. He said as long as you do not kill them, everything will be fine.”

“Oh? As long as they are alive right?” Yana smiled and turned her head, and looked at the young girl who had sent her killing intent towards her. “As long as they’re alive….”

“Ahhh! My arms! My legs!” Yana sheathed her sword as she looked at her handy work with pride. The girl no longer had the bravado she had before. She also no longer had the same number of limbs as she had before. Her life, even if she could still cultivate, was worthless now that she had no legs or arms. But what shocked everyone who saw, even the shadow guard, was that even though Yana chopped off all the girl’s limbs, the girl did not bleed a single drop of blood!

“Mmmm… See, she is still alive, so this is no problem, right?” Yana asked the shadow guard, who was left speechless. The shadow guard could only nod her head to answer Yana. She had never seen such a technique before. With a slash of the sword that was so quick that it heated up the blade just enough to cauterize the wound, not allowing any blood to flow from her, the stumps on her body or the arms and legs that lay on the ground.

Only after a few minutes did she finally come around and look at Yana. “Can you teach me!?”

The shadow guard had a hopeful look on her face, hoping that Yana would be willing to teach her this technique. It was something that would greatly benefit her way of the sword!

“Mmm… I see why not, but I will let you know to get to this point will take you over a hundred years of training.” Yana replied. She would never turn down someone who had the will to learn about swords.

“Thank you!” The shadow guard bowed her head: “Master, my name is Fangxin. I have no surname.”

“Then Fangxin, follow me from now on,” Yana said with a smile and began walking away, not caring about the other girls who were standing there looking at their stumpy friend, who was still freaking out. The girl felt no pain. She was just in shock. But before she could even grasp what was happening, Yana stopped as if she had forgotten something and looked at the arms and legs on the ground. “Now, it wouldn’t be good if she could still reattach them, now would it?”

Yaya grabbed the hilt of her sword, and at almost the same instant, the arms and legs of the girl were diced into dust. It did not even look like Yana drew her sword. Fangxin eyes shined with amazement. She felt she was very lucky to take a master like Yana.

Seeing her limbs turning into dust, the girl let out a scream and fainted. Her so called friends all ran away, so the girl was left by herself fainted on the ground next to four piles of dust. No one dared to go near her to help her. Not even the onlookers who had stopped to watch the show were willing to help her.

It was not until an elder just happened to walk by that he found the girl laying on the path of the sect that she was picked up and brought to the sect master. “Sect master this….”

“Hmmm?” The sect master looked at the cleanly sliced off appendages and shook his head. He had already known about what had happened. He had eyes all around the sect now to ensure Kana’s family’s safety. Because of that, he waved his hand at the elder and nonchalantly said: “Cripple her and toss her out of the sect.”

“But…” The elder felt like maybe they should investigate as to what happened, but before he could say anything, the sect master stopped him.

“Tell your disciples under you to be sure not to touch anyone from the forbidden peak. If they do, they will face the consequences. You can use this girl to show what will happen.” The sect master would not risk his sect being destroyed for some girl who had a bad attitude. He noticed that Kana’s family would not bother anyone as long as no one caused trouble for them.

As for Yana? She was currently sitting cross legged in a chair eating meat skewers at one of the food stands in the sect with her new disciple. “Not bad… I wonder if Mama has had these yet. I should tell her when she gets back….” After saying this, she tossed down the wooden stick and raised her hand towards the owner of the stall: “Master, another ten orders, please!”

Fangxin nibbled on her meat skewer and stared at the stack of cleaned skewer sticks in amazement. She made note that her new master really likes meat skewers.

Meanwhile, back in the mystic realm in a dead forest, Kana was looking at the thing in front of her that was shaped like a human but had bones showing and rotten flesh hanging off of it. The two were almost nose to nose. “Hmmm? Controlled?”
