Zhang Kaiyu, who was resting, was woken up again. He had slept less than 3 hours the last two days. Even a young person might not be able to handle that, let alone him.
As he was grumpy being woken up, he was about to unleash his anger on the butler. Nevertheless, the butler’s anxious voice came before he could do that.
“Sir, the cops are here.”
Zhang Kaiyu was wide awake all of a sudden. His voice hoarse. “Who are they looking for? Are they looking for Bi?”
It didn’t make sense that cops would come to their door when all Bi did was plagiarized some thesis.
He added impatiently, “Have them take him with them. You didn’t need to wake me for that.”
The butler lowered his head. “No, they are looking for you.”
Zhang Kaiyu was stunned. Why would they be looking for him?
With the butler’s help, he quickly changed and walked into the living room. The three uniformed police walked over to him; their looks solemn. “Zhang Kaiyu, please make a trip down to the station with us. Per the statement provided to us by Su QinMei, you were an accomplice in the murder of Su QinYing. You had further assisted in the covering up of the crime and helped Su QinMei in resuming the identity of Su QinYing and forgery of documents……”
Zhang Kaiyu felt that he had been smashed by a big hammer on his head. He felt the ground spinning beneath him and he stumbled. He would have fell to the ground had he not been supported by the butler.
He thought the worst that could happen was to sacrifice Zhang Bi and maybe, along with him, some of their reputation. He never expected that he would turn into collateral damage. Su QinMei! How dare she!

“There are some misunderstandings here. She was accusing me wrongfully!” said Zhang Kaiyu, panicking.
The three cops were unphased. “You can tell us all about it at the station.”
Having said that, they slapped the cold handcuffs on him and brought him away with them.

While he chided, an ambition sprouted inside of him.

Fang JunRong watched the entire exchange between Jiang WenYu and Su QinMei in the video that was provided to her by Jiang WenYu. In the video, Jiang WenYu was not his usual peace-loving self at all. He was black-bellied and domineering. Fang JunRong truly felt that he resembled a villain in a novel. He was, after all, the vicious one who almost destroyed Jiang YaGe and her gang. Jiang YaGe would have died a horrible death in her previous life had it not been her cheat.
