It didn’t matter how wealthy one was. Nobody would just shell out such a large amount for research with no hesitation.

He looked back and forth at Jiang WenYu’s extremely handsome face and, recalling Fang JunRong’s assistant with the outstanding look, and had it all figured out that very moment.

Jiang WenYu was probably Fang JunRong’s initial little boy toy that she kept. He couldn’t help but bared his teeth. Fang JunRong was certainly generous to her boy toys, let it be Jiang WenYu or Jiang DeXian.

He patted Jiang WenYu on his shoulder and lamented. “There are lots of fish in the sea. As the young master of the Zhang family, you will for sure be able to find someone more fitting than Boss Fang in the fuure.”

Jiang WenYu didn’t like his flippant tone when he mentioned Fang JunRong. He stressed again, “I don’t want to hear her name.”

He wasn’t sure if his actions would bring about troubles for Fang JunRong so it was best to make it seem like the two of them had drifted apart from each other.

Zhang Bi smiled and said, “Alright. I get it. I won’t bring her up again.”

Perhaps he could look for a few more individuals that resembled Fang JunRong’s assistant and sent them Jiang WenYu’s way. From what he had learned from Chang Xin, Jiang WenYu seemed to have some new ideas on his research recently.

The thought of that made the feeling of jealousy crawled all of his mind like poisonous bugs.

This world was too unfair. Not only was Jiang WenYu blessed with such talent, he was also very lucky. He survived his mother’s plan and their grandfather thought highly of him. Their grandfather had prepared so many expensive equipment for Jiang WenYu that even him, as one of the possible heirs since he was a child, had never gotten.

Well, never mind. He had his own value.

He glanced over at Jiang WenYu, who still seemed to be deep in thought. His mouth curved upward some: Too bad. So sad. As talented as he was, he was just a nerd and had no idea about networking. As such, he would happily take over all the outcome of his research. Only in his hand would the effect of those results be maximized.

Fang JunRong was attending an event organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Chinese herbs. After all, both her Beautify Pills and Hair Growing Cream required a lot of herbs. She had been working with certain businesses through friends’ referral in the past but, if she could secure herbs of a higher quality, she would be happy to establish new partnerships with more suitable businesses. In addition to being the president of Meifang Corporation, she was also a shareholder of Gaoyuan Corporation. As such, she had received an invitation to this event.

She thought about it some and brought with her a wild ginseng that she had collected from the dimension. There was always an event during these gathering when they would appraise rare herbs. As Fang JunRong couldn’t possibly bring with her mystical herbs like yunying grass from her dimension, the wild ginseng would have to do.

The event was hosted in N Province, not City S, on May 17.

Fang JunRong flew over the day before and headed toward the convention center early the next day.

She arrived at the perfect time and many of the companies had just finished putting their products on display. Fang JunRong did not attend this event along. In addition to Jiang DeXian, she also pulled some strings and brought with her Leng Ying, an expert in herbs. Leng Ying was 50 years old and appeared a very solemn person; she resembled a dean at school. She was, however, an expert in appraising herbs. Fang JunRong had her appraised the wild ginseng that she had brought with her. Prior to this, Leng Ying had seen wild ginseng of up to 120 years old. From the pronounced grains of the one that Fang JunRong had brought with, it looked to be at least 200 years old. If Fang JunRong was to auction it off, she could easily fetch 10 million. It was not something that was seem often.

Should Fang JunRong be short of money one day, she could always make money from selling wild ginsengs from her dimension. Granted, she would never do such a thing. That would be like announcing to the whole world that she had a way of fast growing these ginsengs. At most she would take a few out once in a while as gifts for networking.

With the help of Leng Ying, Fang JunRong was saved a lot of hassle. Leng Ying, standing next to her, explained to her the looks and quality each company’s herbs and had further pointed out the few that she could get the best value from. Fang JunRong took that as a learning opportunity and felt that she had learned a lot.
