After threatening Li WangJin, the Zhang’s acted very quickly. After releasing their apology statement placing the blame onto Li WangJin and offering specific compensation, they were able to save their reputation from slipping further.

Most of the consumers were very ready to forgive them. Afterall, Yifang Corporation also rarely had discounts which made the compensation the offered appealing to their consumers. 20% off was quite a bit. In addition, Li WangJin had been very active lately and attracted most of the angry to himself. He even tried to suppress the most trending list and had accounts disabled. He had done everything that netizens found most intolerable. With Li WangJin as their contrast, Yifang appeared to be the innocent party all of a sudden.

Everybody bashed Li WangJin as they requested for refunds.

Fang JunRong, too, had read the apology statement. She must admit that Yifang Corporation was quick to react. Their speed of placing blame was unprecedented.

“Tsk. What a bummer. When all was said and done, the Zhang’s barely lost anything from this whole fiasco. He was the only one who ended up bearing all the losses,” said Li XinYun in dissatisfaction.

“He” referred to Li WangJin. She could no longer refer to him as Dad.

Li XinYun didn’t like Zhang Bi; as such, she wasn’t a fan of Yifang Corporation either.

“You didn’t see the intangible losses. What Yifang had done had certainly stopped their losses for right now, but their actions were shady as far as their partners are concerned. From now on, any companies who wants to go into business with them will have to keep this in mind,” said Fang JunRong.

Who’d want to work with a partner who’d backstab you the first minute when things went wrong?

The Zhang’s were probably clouded by their success in the past, which was why they would handle this in such a fashion.

Fang JunRong turned on her computer and clicked open a folder. Inside of it were a bunch of pictures. She asked Li XinYun casually, “Which one of these men do you like?”

Li XinYun looked over. They were all very attractive men and all looked pretty young.

“I’m still young,” said Li XinYun, feeling uncomfortable. “I don’t even have my own career yet. I am not ready for a relationship.”

Fang JunRong went silent for a little bit and said, “No, that’s not it. I will be attending a banquet in a couple of days and need to bring a date with me.” Xu WeiWei had helped her screened out some after Fang JunRong had mentioned it to her. She only needed a date to attend the banquet with her in order to help her block some of the unwanted elements. Fang JunRong had always been generous and has a sizeable network; many people would want to approach her.

“….. Oh.” So they weren’t meant for her.

Li XinYun looked over the pictures one by one and felt that each and every single one of them was handsome and very pleasing to the eyes.

That being said…

She finally pointed at the second picture from the end and said, “How about this one? He’s really good looking.” The rest of them were good looking too, but not like him. He stood out even in a regular picture used for an ID. Even among all the other good-looking men, he still stood out.

Fang JunRong looked at the man that Li XinYun had picked. He looked like he could be a mix. His features were prominent and his charm shone through like a sword out of its sheath.

“Okay. Him then,” said Fang JunRong as she nodded in satisfaction.
