Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 74 - System Evaluation

The pressure exerted by Umbra was already astonishing but it was nothing compared to the thick black mana cocoon that formed around it.  Shane was a bit shocked, as all mana particles within the room were absorbed by it.

After taking more than a hundred mana crystals out of his spatial ring, Shane noticed the mana within them being drawn out in a single second, as another batch consisting of several hundred mana crystals had been thrown out of his spatial ring that fell on the ground.

The suction speed of the black cocoon slowed down and Shane sighed in relief, as he decided to dedicate himself to the system shop.

The first thing he did was purchase a few hundred glass vials to store the liquid obtained from the aqueous scales of the scaled lizards.

After filling the first vial with the liquid, Shane utilized another function of the System, which allowed him to evaluate the stage and quality of the product.

[(Aqueous scaled lizard) liquid will be analyzed...1%...9%...45%....76%...100%]

[Evaluation completed→ Energizing/Soothing characteristics detected. Analyzed liquid can be used as [Mortal-(Common+)] potion! →Aqueous fragrant potion]

Reading through the two messages, Shane's eagerness turned into elation as he jumped up with joy.

`Ohhh my!!!` Shane wanted to share his happiness with everyone, but that was not possible as he had nobody to flex his wealth in front of and he couldn't leave Umbra alone.

As he researched the Aqueous fragrant potion, Shane figured out that humanity didn't have a high number of such potions. It indicated that they hadn't found a race like the aqueous scaled lizard that he had.

The price for a single potion was relatively high, with 30 Silver for a single potion and Shane immediately felt like he had hit the Jackpot.

In his last large venture into the elemental cave, he had picked up hundreds of corpses after the small skirmish between purple furred wolves and scaled lizards.

Shane roughly had 40 aqueous scaled lizard carcasses, though not a single one of them was at the elite stage.

Even if that was slightly unfortunate, Shane estimated that a single scaled lizard had roughly 100 scales on it which meant he could fill 4000 vials.

Setting the price at 30 Silver would immediately reward him with 1,200 gold coins, without the need to sell the remaining hundreds of corpses inside his spatial ring.

A radiant smile blossomed on his face, as he purchased as many vials as possible with his remaining funds. He wished to quickly start to decant the liquid from the aqueous scales into the vials.

Once a vial was filled, he immediately exhibited them within his store and set the price at 30 silver coins each.

More than six hours passed before Shane finished the whole procedure. He felt as if he was going to die, as the whole process bored him to death and he couldn't wait for it to get over.

During the last six hours, Shane wasn't sure how many times he had almost fallen asleep. Fortunately, he had managed to keep himself awake reminding himself that he had more than enough to do.

While exhibiting the potions, Shane decided to add the purple furred wolves carcasses into the remaining vacancies. He set the price of 4 silver coins for the peak-Wild stage wolves, while he set it at 20 silver coins for the Elite stage ones.

The price was not too high, because of the high electrical conductivity provided by the wolves' fur The claws and fangs could be used as arrowheads, as long as they were grinded slightly.

Selling the wolves' fetched him around 15 gold coins.

Once another vacancy was free, Shane immediately placed the first batch of scaled lizards within it, as each mutated scaled lizard would need its own vacancy.

Two hours later, Shane had gained a fortune of roughly 34 gold coins from the scaled lizards and other beasts that he had hunted the day before.

The potions had been sold faster than he had expected, adding 1200 gold coins to his fortune that now totaled to 1249 gold coins, without him doing anything significant.

The wealth that he had amassed in a short time made him realize the importance and worth of the Radiant Mountain-ring dimension. He believed that humanity would also find this hidden treasure, once they figured out more about the mana-infused elemental crystals in addition to the mutated beasts with their perks.

If even Wild stage beasts could be worth 30 gold coins, the shelter would prosper more than any other, as long as the demand for the potion and other items would stay high.

Shane was one of the first ones to hunt these beasts and mine elemental and mana crystals. He was the most fortunate one, which was noticeable if one were to see his finances.

Once everybody got wind of the aqueous scaled lizards they would hunt for them in large quantities and oversaturate the market with potions. This would, in turn, lead to a decrease in the potion's value to a large extent.

It was only now that he really had to think hard about the items he should purchase with his newly obtained finances, as he had everything that he needed, for now.

More mana stones were probably the only items he could really need right now. The five tier-1 trash quality mana stones would not be sufficient for him to reach a perfect Mortal physique while purifying the mana within his mana pool.

As such, he decided to purchase additional 10 tier-1 trash quality mana stones for 50 gold coins and paid the additional transfer fee, which reduced his finances to 1194.

Right now, he didn't really want to purchase any extra nutrition solutions, because he wanted to test out their potency first.

After finishing all of them Shane wanted to test out a trash tier-1 nutrition solution to figure out if his body could handle it because a trash tier-1 nutrition solution would be better than the mortal stage nutrition solutions, as long as he didn't purchase an extraordinary one with an additional effect.

He already owned one [Mortal-(Extraordinary)] nutrition solution, but it didn't have any additional effect and was only there for him to test the waters.

The prices for such nutrition solutions were too high. Shane would rather purchase a tier-1 trash solution rather than a lower graded one with an additional effect, as long as his body could absorb all the nutrition within the solution.

It was already afternoon when Shane finished everything within the Shop. He noticed a notification that he had missed because of the whole purchase log that had filled his system.

[Primordial Shop's "Upgrade-function" has been <unlocked> Items worth 1000 gold coins have been sold. Congratulations!!  Reward: +1 Vacancy]

Shane wasn't sure what to think of the notification, because the shop wasn't that important for him anymore. He had no plans of becoming a full-time merchant.

However, on the other side, he had witnessed the annoying side of having only a few vacancies a few hours ago, which had irked him.

As such, Shane was still somewhat happy to have unlocked his Shop's upgrade function.

Having the option to do something, instead of working towards it painstakingly was definitely a pleasing feeling.

He wouldn't have to bother in the future about unlocking the upgrade function once he needed it.
