Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 286 - Strongest Prodigy!

"HUH?" Everyone was as astonished as Shane about this sudden change of events

"Meet your fiancè...at least once and tell her that you won't marry her."

John Stella couldn't help but sigh after he said these words before he looked at Shane again.

Since Shane had run away from home a year ago, John had begun to understand that his son was capable enough to take care of himself.

He didn't like the fact that the only news about his son to fall on his ears would be of him causing trouble every now and then, but it was obvious that Shane had become strong!

Only a year had passed and based on the message John had read in the group chat, his son should have been able to solve two [Mythic] missions which allowed him to acquire the first two perfect body refining manuals!

Other than that, Shane had a unique taming skill, a soul bound world, which not a single human had, and he had established the Astral Artisans!

They had already created a name for themselves among the non-combat occupations and could be considered as a small hindrance to the government.

In a very short period, the Astral Artisans expanded their business at a rapid pace, and it was only because their funds were on an entirely different level than the government's whicht was overwhelming the Astral Artisans' growth!

Yet, the governments' contracts were considered better, and at the same time worse than the Astral Artisans!

While the Artisans earned more on the governments' artisan organization with around 30% of the manufactured goods' profits, they had to nurture themselves, and only the basics had been provided.

With that in mind, the Astral Artisans' contract was much better despite it offering a smaller share from the profits generated out of the crafted goods. The fact that they were nurtured thoroughly with all kinds of expensive tools, skills, blueprints, and much more made it all the more worthwhile!

This nurturing didn't end, even after the Artisans had reached a certain threshold and it seemed to continue forever.

"I don't really care what you will say to her, but it's basic courtesy to meet her and tell her that you don't want to marry her." John reasoned before he mumbled,

"Work hard!"

After that he walked away, leaving Shane, his uncles, aunts, and everyone else dumbfounded.

"What was that?" Shane muttered loudly.

Even though it had been his father's plan to marry him off to some unknown girl, it wouldn't kill him if he were to reject his fiancè for good!

At least, he wouldn't have to worry about anyone taunting him because of his fiancè anymore!

Thus he turned to his uncles and aunts,

"Does anyone know who I was supposed to marry? I never listened to my father when he spoke about my fiancé.."

When Shane said this, he smiled drily before Uncle Kai laughed heartily,

"You're a good one, Shane! I like that. Let's ignore your fiance and have some fun with everyone! It has been too long since all of us spent time together."

Everyone knew that Kai was the loudest, yet also happiest in their small circle of friends, and only outsiders were unaware of this.

Yet, instead of accepting Kai's offer, Aunt Kia intervened before Shane could reply,

"If you want to meet her, their family name is Ladras and you should know them, right? They're the second biggest and among the most influential families on Igra!

Mia Ladras is the name of your fiancè, and she should be here today."

As Aunt Kia said so, Shane had already opened the system's holographic screen to look for a picture of Mia Ladras.

In order to find someone, it was quite useful to know what this person looked like.

Yet, before Shane was able to find out how his fiancè looked, he saw multiple pictures of him and the others accompanying him to the mana awakening event!

This astonished him a little, and almost everyone was asking who they were.

Almost nobody knew of Shane's real identity, and it was weird to see how the 12 Uniters had spoken with him and even smiled.

Most of the 12 uniters had never been seen smiling, but Shane had been able to make them smile and conversate with them effortlessly!

Furthermore, he was handsome and radiated a mature, confident, and charismatic aura, which was rare for someone to have who didn't look like he was 20 years old!

As such many big families tried to figure out more about him and posting pictures of him and the others were the simplest way to know who he really was.

However, Shane was sure that nobody who knew about his real identity would reveal it, and the only gossip that could spread around were rumors!

And, even if the truth would be revealed in the worst-case scenario, it was not like he would be at a huge disadvantage!

If Shane were, to be honest, he had never really hidden his identity in the first place, and it was just that his family was wired differently and he liked to be his own person too.

At least, that was his reason to use his mother's family name 'Suro'.

After browsing through countless photos, he found a picture of his fiancè, and Shane couldn't help but think that she was really beautiful.

Nevertheless, her looks were still not as good as Aisha's or Frer's, and Shane was not someone who would allow himself to be led around by one's appearance.

This would turn him into a pushover, and the only time this had happened was when he had seen the forest elven ambassador!

Elves were truly beautiful creatures, and even the male elf he had seen looked extremely gorgeous!

Only people with a superior appearance like Aisha, and he himself were comparable to their looks.

Even if Shane might come across as arrogant by saying that he was as beautiful as Forest Elves, he was firmly convinced that this was the case!

Now that he found out what his fiancè looked like, he started to search for her.

'She should either be with friends or somewhere with her family', he thought.

His aunt and uncles remained where they had already been standing because they were only attending the event as guests of honor and as such didn't have any responsibilities for today.

As such, they were able to spend time with each other which was something that rarely happened.

Only Merl, Mayr, and Olar, John's three closest subordinates who were also considered to be Shane's aunt and uncles, felt uncomfortable by letting their master roam through the mansion alone!

Not even 10 minutes had passed when he spotted Mia Ladras in a small group of young women with even more young men courting them.

However, instead of paying attention to Mia Ladras, who seemed to have a joyous personality, Shane's attention was drawn to a woman who seemed to be the central point of attention.

She wasn't wearing a dress, or fancy clothes, but was dressed in combat clothes!

'Did she come to the mana awakening event because of the sparring part?' He was confused, but seeing how she was surrounded by everyone, Shane could understand that she was not someone ordinary!

"Isn't that Miriam Phe?" Kylia suddenly exclaimed as she wanted to rush ahead, only to be held back by Jack.

"What do you think you are doing right now? We are not here to praise someone or be dumbstruck, only because we see someone with great Innate ability, right?"

The name Miriam Phe didn't ring any bells for Shane, but he had to acknowledge that her appearance was extremely good!

It was comparable to that of Aisha's, which was a rare sight!

Miriam Phe's height was around 1.75 meters while her long legs made her seem taller. Yet, instead of looking weak, her slim figure seemed to be filled with pure energy!

As such, Shane couldn't help but nod his head as he looked straight at Miriam Phe's face that seemed to be flawless.

Her skin was fair and she had long eyelashes.

Yet, what made her stand out from the rest were her long, red hair and red eyes!

When the others noticed that Shane didn't seem to know Miriam, even Olivia couldn't help but shake her head as she said,

"Miriam Phe is 21 years old and from the same generation as Aisha! While Aisha's mana purity should be around 94% by now, Miriam is known as the system mission wrecker! Her mana purity should be around 96%, and she has a perfect Apprentice and perfect Expert physique!

The only unfortunate accident was that she had been unable to solve the [Mythic] mission to acquire the right to purchase the 100% mana purification manual!

Nevertheless, she also has the [Phoenix fire] that is an innate, and extremely strong fire affinity!

She can increase the potency of her affinity by completing missions, and it's comparable to an Innate Skill!

Since the last few years, she has been consistently labeled as the most powerful and talented human prodigy!"

Shane nodded his head when Olivia had finished her short lecture, and a glint of interest could be seen in his eyes.

However, instead of trying to think too much about Miriam Phe, Shane decided to pay more attention to his fiancè for the time being, whom he was about to reject!
