Never Judge

Chapter 409 - 409

After an event filled day at Nationalia, Cedric and Adrianna decided to go straight home. At first they thought Cedric's father and mother would also be itching to go home, unfortunately Emilio and Priscilla had already promised to have dinner at Benedicto and Lucy's place. The couple now lived alone in their giant mansion since Ray and Ayanna moved into their own home within the Mountain View community.

By the time the couple got home, little Emilio was fast asleep, clearly exhausted from his day of fun with his grandparents, his aunties, and Tristan. Cedric carried his son up to his own room and placed him gently on his bed.

"Cedric, I'm worried." Adrianna said as she hugged Cedric by the waist.

"About what?" Cedric asked his wife.

"About Nicole, about the Sebastians, about our own son and his identity." Adrianna said in a sad tone.

"Adrianna, Nicole and the Sebastians will be fine. If Nicole was actually drugged with Natalia's serum, then we know that it's safe. Maybe Natalia can even work on an antidote for it. If anything bad happens her brother is Miguel Chan, he can cure it. As for Alexi and Katerina, they really do fight like that." Cedric said with a laugh. "Last year, Katerina told me about a fight I missed out on when I was in poverty training, interestingly it was about Selina Ramirez."

"Selina? But I thought Alexi hated her." Adrianna asked.

"Well, he came to hate her after he and Jen got together." Cedric explained. "After Alexi's first love, Ilya died he actually fell for Selina, and guess what Katerina did." Cedric said with a mischievous grin.

"What?" Adrianna asked.

"Katerina told Selina to stay as far away from her brother as possible because she believed that Selina deserved better." Cedric said, shaking his head. "I guess that past between them also adds to why Alexi is so quick to believe Jen."

"I don't know if Alexi is blind, stupid, or just plain too in love." Adrianna said with a sigh.

"On your last worry, our son will be fine. Even if his identity is revealed I promise you that he will always stay safe." Cedric said as he held her tightly in his arms. "I know that we have always valued our privacy, but in this day and age it's quite difficult to keep our identities a secret. I was actually expecting for something like this to happen sooner or later." Cedric told his wife.

"I guess you're right." Adrianna said in a happier tone.

"Don't worry too much Adri. I'm here." Cedric said as he lifted her face to look him in the eyes. Cedric lowered his head and kissed his wife passionately, pulling her closer to him as he let his hand roam over her body. As he got to her butt he gave it a gentle squeeze making Adrianna giggle.

"Let's move this to our room." Cedric said with a smile as he picked his wife up from the floor and carried her bridal style out of their son's room.

After closing the door to Emilio's room, Cedric leaned forward and kissed his wife with more passion and fervor than earlier.

"You're so beautiful." Cedric whispered into her ear as he gave it a gentle nibble.

"Cedric gross!" Ayanna said as she suddenly interrupted the couple. "Are you already working on Emilio's little sister?" Ayanna teased as she walked closer to the couple.

"What do you want Ayanna?" Cedric asked angrily.

Both he and Adrianna had been busy recently and they hadn't had any alone time in quite a while, he was actually looking forward to being intimate with his wife that night but his sister had to come over and ruin their plans.

"Well. I'm here to talk to Adrianna." Ayanna said with a smile.

"I'll go to the room after." Adrianna said as she planted a chaste kiss on her husband's lips.

"Don't keep her for too long." Cedric warned his sister as he walked into their room.

While waiting for Adrianna, Cedric decided to give Miguel a call and explain his and Ian's suspicions.

"What?" Miguel asked in a pissed off tone. "I was in bed, why do you have to ruin all the fun." Miguel complained.

"It's about Nicole." Cedric told Miguel.

"Is it urgent? Do you want me to come over?" Miguel asked.

Miguel and Veronica had moved out of Cedric's guest house just a little over a month ago. Veronica had finally completed their home down the street from Cedric's. At first Cedric was happy to have them leave. It was finally peaceful since the only people living in Mountain View were Cedric's and Adrianna's parents and them.

Aunt Aurora, Uncle A, Marie, and Cedric's grandparents had moved back to the Reyes Mansion. Initially Priscilla and Emilio were also supposed to move, but the couple didn't want to be separated from their grandson, so they decided to stay in Cedric's home for a little bit longer.

"No, I can explain it over the phone."  Cedric said.

"Okay, what is it?" Miguel asked.

"I think you might have been right about Nurse Jen injecting Nicole with some experimental serum Natalia concocted." Cedric explained.

"It's been a year, how can you conclude that now?" Miguel asked. "And we did ask her questions when she woke up, her memory was intact."

"We didn't ask her everything in detail. The questions we asked were wrong." Cedric explained as he recalled what Ian had asked Nicole when she had woken up.

"Did something happen?" Miguel asked.

"No one told you?" Cedric was confused as to why Miguel didn't know about the incident at Nationalia.

"I haven't spoken to my parents or siblings since yesterday, what happened?" Miguel asked again, this time Cedric could hear the frustration in his tone.

"Nicole, doesn't remember her water breaking in the office. It seems like she lost a whole day worth of memories." Cedric explained as he recalled that Ian mentioned that they left their home in the morning and the questions they had asked Nicole were closer to the evening.

"I really don't want to be right Cedric." Miguel said in a grim tone.

"Unfortunately, you might just be." Cedric said as he frowned.
