When Xiao li woke up, she felt that her body was sore and weak. She could see darkness and there was something tight on her face. She saw stunned for a while before she realized that she had been blindfolded.

She instinctively tried to raise her hand to remove the cloth covering her eyes, but then she found that she couldn't move.

She was tied to the bed with her hands above her head.

She tried to budge forcefully, then she realized that her wrists are painful.

She frowned in pain and stopped struggling.

She didn't know how long she had been here; she only knew that she was served food and was fed by a lady.

Even when she tired to bring up a discussion with the woman, the woman would remain silent and continue to feed her.

At first, she didn't want to eat the food. However, when she thought of Jingyi Wang who was still lying on the sick bed, she knew that she shouldn't die yet.

She had to live for him.

Just then, the door opened.

Xiao li pricked up her ears in alert and she said in a shaky voice, "Who are you? Why did you kidnap me?"

"You would be transferred from here tomorrow and we are telling you in advance, don't try to struggle. If not..." a deep voice sounded in the quiet room.

Xiao like was stunned for a moment before she reacted.

This voice... was the same voice she heard when she was kidnapped.

"What do you want from me? Where am I?" Xiao li's voice was shaky, but she tried to act calm.

"Somewhere far away from G.City" that was all she heard before the sound of the door closing sounded in her ears.

Far away from G.City?

Does that mean she isn't in the city anymore?

As she thought of it, she began to feel uneasy in her heart. Her heart started beating so fast causing her chest to move up and down violently.

If she is away from G.city, how will Jingyi Wang be able to find her?

Tears rolled down her cheeks. "Ah Jin, please save me. I'm scared"

At the hospital.

Jingyi Wang who had been in a coma for a very long time suddenly moved. His long, slender fingers moved and his eyes opened instantly.

Wang Shu who was by his side sensed his movement and her head rose up, her eyes lit up in surprise. "Jingyi, you are awake?"

Jingyi Wang heard his mom and opened his mouth to talk. However, as he had been in coma for a long time and had not moved his body, he felt weak.

Hence, he could only open his mouth and no words came out. His bloodshot eyes flicked around the room as if looking for something, then his eyes landed on his mom's excited face.

"Xiao li" he could only call her name in his heart.

As though she was hallucinating, Wang Shu's trembling hands reached out to touch her son's face. "You are truly awake!"

Perhaps, it was because she was too excited, she spoke in a shaky voice that her words almost got stuck in her throat. When she realized that it's wasn't a dream or hallucination, tear drops rolled down her cheeks as if she had been keeping them from falling. "Doctor, he is awake!"

Instantly, she ran out of the room, forgetting to press the beeper in the room.

After Jingyi Wang had been checked by the doctors, they all thought it was a miracle for him to survive. After the several tests they had done on him, they realized that his brain nerves had been damaged and he might never wake up.

However, Jingyi Wang suddenly woke up and after performing several tests on him, he was perfectly fine- just for him to get some rest.

The doctors all thought, it was a miracle.

When Jingyi Wang noticed Xiao li had not been in the hospital even since he woke up and no one tired to call her, he realized that something was wrong.

He asked where she was, but Wang Shu told him to eat first and rest for a while.

Jingyi Wang was not a child. He had been the president of A.B company for over ten years and he knew the nook and cranny of the world's business.

The man who was named the business wizard wouldn't understand the expression and forced smiles they all have been giving him when they spoke with him?

He knew there was something wrong when he asked of Xiao li and they tried to divert his attention.

He didn't want to believe that Xiao li was in trouble, but he couldn't stop worrying about her.

What if something had really happened to her and they are all trying to hide it from him?

His heart beat quickened. He felt like he had been pierced in the heart by a knife continuously making him feel an excruciating pain.

He looked up at his mom who had poured him a glass cup and was walking towards him with a smile. "Tell me what you want to eat and I will get the chef to cook it for you"

She gave him the glass of water and smiled at him.

"Aiyah, have you forgotten? The doctors told us to watch what we are going to give him. He can't just eat anything" Wang Yong spoke behind her, reminding her what the doctors had said.

"That's true. How can I forget" Wang Shu awkwardly laughed and tapped her forehead with her other hand on her waist. "I think I'm growing old already"
