Even though, Xiao li had told him to stay away from her, he couldn't just do it. Considering the relationship they had before, he couldn't just sit back and not do anything to save Xiao li.

Although, he knew that the Xiao and Wang family, with their connection and influence would do everything to get Xiao li back.

Still, he couldn't help, but want to help her.

He picked up his phone and dialed a number. After two rings, the call got connected and the other person answer in English. "Hello Wei, it's been a long time you called. What's up?"

Liu Wei didn't bother to greet the person and went straight to the point. After talking for a while, the person replied with, "Understood" before he hang up.

Even after calling that person, Liu Wei still felt so uneasy and worried.

He wondered how Xiao li would be feeling right now and if they took good care of her.

For the first time in his life, he felt that he was useless and couldn't do anything to help Xiao li even with his power and connections.

This was the first time he felt that he wouldn't be able to get Xiao li back no matter what he did.

He felt helpless.

He wished he was there to protect Xiao like when she was kidnapped.

Or he could have been kidnapped instead of Xiao li.

It's been five days now and those who abducted Xiao li didn't even call to ask for ransome which made that Xiao family suspicious of one thing; they are not after money, but Xiao li.

They wondered why they would want Xiao li. Was it because her parents are the Xiao's or because her boyfriend is a Wang?

According to the Young maid, she never spoke with the leader, but with only his men. However, they didn't mention their names and only gave her orders which she followed.

An Jun watched the CCTV video which only captured how Xiao li was dragged out of the house. It also caught the faces of the men who took her that day.

Those kidnappers were very smart. They made sure all the CCTV cameras surrounding the villa stopped working which made it difficult to get any information about them.

An Jun quickly asked his people to look into those kidnappers information.

However, he got nothing. It seemed like those people are not from the earth.

Strange!

They couldn't get any information about them. Not even their ages.

This was the first time An Jun had ever cane across this situation where he wouldn't find any information about a person.

If he could not find anything about these kidnappers, then it would be very difficult to find the leader.

An Jun felt very frustrated and pushed the cup on the table away. The cup fell with a "Clash" and broke into a million pieces.

He reached out his hand to close the laptop, then unexpectedly, his eyes caught something.

His hand which had reached out to close the laptop suddenly froze mid-air. His deep dark eyes narrowed slightly. His eyes caught some words written at the back of the neck of the bodyguard. Because the bodyguard had his back against the camera, it was very easy to see it.

An Jun zoomed in, but the words became blurry, so he returned it back to it's normal state.

He stared at the bodyguard's back for a few seconds before his lips slightly parted. "Camorra"

When Huo Jianqi heard that her son had contacted someone from the U.S to help search for Xiao li.

She felt rage burning in her.

She looked at her son and screamed, "I'm not gonna allow you to save her. She doesn't deserve any help from you"

She doesn't deserve mercy from any body, most especially from the Liu's family.

Huo Jianqi wondered why her son still chose to help her after what she did to him.

What charm did she use on her son to make him obsessed.

All the blind date she tried for her son didn't work and it was because of Xiao li.

Why did she get favoured all the time?

As Huo Jianqi thought of this, her blood boiled in anger. "She deserves to be kidnapped. I hope she get killed and rot in hell. I hope she get raped" As if she remembered something, her eyes lit up and she laughed, "She is even a slut. Even if she get raped, she wouldn't mind. After all, she sleeps with different men"

Upon hearing what his mother said, Liu Wei's eyes darkened and he clenched his fist tightly. "Mom! that's enough! You have no right to say that about Lili. You know what you are saying isn't right? You know it was our family that started this rumors. You and Dad did that just because you couldn't get what you wanted from them. Xiao li is not that kind of person"

Huo Jianqi froze for a moment. When she regained her senses, her eyes widened and she stared at her son in disbelief.

Did he just yell at me?

"Did you just yell at me? Because of that slut" she said the last sentence in a low voice.

"She isn't a slut"

"How dare you defend her?!" she asked and broke into tears. "I did what I did for your own good. After what she did to you, I could not just sit back and watch her live her life happily knowing that my own son isn't happy. I wanted to destroy her"

Liu Wei's heart softened when he heard his mother's words and he started to feel guilty. However, when he heard his mother's last words, he looked at his mother, stupified, "Mom, stop it! I was also at fault, okay? I shouldn't have left Xiao li humiliated on the alter that day"

As he spoke, his eyes dimmed a little.

"Shut up! What do you know? If you didn't cancel the wedding, would you have brought her home?"
