After Xiao li reached the villa and took a shower, she still felt like it was all extremely unreal. She sat on the soft white rug in the bedroom and crossed her legs while staring at the heavy rain through the balcony door.

Today, Liu Wei asked her to elope with him and leave Jingyi Wang. If Jingyi Wang didn't appear earlier, would he have forced her to go with him?

She didn't think Liu Wei was that kind of person who would force her to do what she doesn't want to do. Even though Jingyi Wang didn't arrive, she wouldn't follow Liu Wei.

Although, she had once hated Jingyi Wang, she still couldn't deny the fact that he took good care of her and protected her.

Xiao li looked out the glass door with a distant gaze. The busy G. City was covered under the rainbows, the bright coloured specks blurring amidst the mist, decorating G. City's night scenery.

Xiao li's face as she was deep in thought was reflected on the transparent glass.

"Click-"

The door opened and Jingyi Wang's tall and broad figure walked in. His entire figure carried in a tinge of coldness and authority. His deep, cold eyes squinted at the tiny figure on the cold rug.

The moment he set his eyes on her, some warmth and gentleness filled his eyes.

"Why are you sitting on the rug? Don't you know that it's cold outside? Sitting on the rug will make you sick"

Jingyi Wang's deep and thick voice sounded a bit hoarse, the power of someone who had been used to being part of the upper class seeping through.

Upon hearing his voice, Xiao li returned to her senses and stood up to look at him.

Jingyi Wang was still in his suit. His suit jacket, neat and stiff as he tucked his hand in his pants. He left the suit jacket unbuttoned, he hadn't fastened on a tie and the first few buttons of his shirt were also unbuttoned.

As she took a proper look at him, she felt her heartbeat pick up the pace for a while.

"Are you done watching?" Jingyi Wang's voice remained calm and neutral.

After being caught, Xiao li's face reddened in shyness. She sheepishly coughed and walked to the bedside to pick her phone.

"Are you done with work already?"

Jingyi Wang looked at her; her wet long hair was tucked behind her ear, revealing her delicate ears and gentle line of her jaw.

Although, she tried to act normal, Jingyi Wang knew she was nervous. However, he chose not to expose her.

Xiao li realised that Jingyi Wang had not answered her question and turned around to looked at him.

Jingyi Wang's blue, deep eyes stared at her with a hint of coldness in them. It was as if he was going to suck in her soul.

Xiao li trembled uncontrollably.

She suddenly remembered that this man didn't talk throughout their journey home. He looked as if he had swallowed a fly and was going to explode anytime soon if no one calmed him down.

It's over!

She is dead!

There was no one who would save her from the devil in front of her. Should she run away? Should she beg him not to kill her? Should she calm him down and explain?

Xiao li was totally confused.

"Look, you are drooling already"

Xiao li suddenly felt a knock on her head.

What just happened?

It was after she felt the pain on her head did she react.

Jingyi Wang had knocked her on her head.

"Why did you knock my head?" She looked at him and saw him remove his blazer and casually placed it on the one-seater unhurriedly before sitting down.

His unusually deep and calm gaze landed on her palm-sized face as his lips twisted into a smirk, "You were drooling and I don't want you to destroy my bed with your saliva"

Drooling?

Saliva?

Who was drooling?

Xiao li reached out and touched the side of her lips, then she realised that she was played by Jingyi Wang.

"Who was drooling? You are the one drooling"

"Really? I saw that you were looking at me" he suddenly wiggled his brows. "Do you find me handsome?"

"What?" Xiao li was so vexed that she had to clench her fist to stop her from rushing over to rip him into two.

"You, You, You..." she pointed her shaky finger at him, but couldn't find the right word to say.

In an instant, Jingyi Wang burst into laughter. "Baby, has anyone told you that you are beautiful when you are angry? Come and sit on my laps"

Without hesitation, Xiao li walked over as if she had been controlled by an evil spirit. As soon as her butt landed on his laps, Jingyi Wang became restless. He started playing with her earlobe, he put her earlobe in between his lips, sucked on it, bit it and played with it.

Xiao li's body was so stiff that she looked like a statue. Her hands on her laps clutched her night dress.

"Baby, don't you ever think of leaving me. I know every of your move. If you leave the city, I will find you, whenever you are"

He whispered into her ear, his warm breath spill on her ear, covering her cold heart. She felt secured when she heard his words, although he sounded like he was threatening her.

All of a sudden, Xiao li shriek as Jingyi Wang's cold hand went into dress.

With widened eyes, Xiao li asked, "Ah Jin, what are you doing?"

Instead of a reply, she got a kiss.

At the Queen's bar.

The delicate voice of the woman amid the booming music suddenly reverberated in his ears which made him look up.

Liu Wei had already drank a whole bottle of the beverage by then. Although, he could hold his alcohol relatively well, it did not mean that he would not be affected especially since the liquor he was drinking had high alcohol content.

His stomach had started to burn and his thoughts had gotten slightly fuzzy at that point.

He squinted his eyes at the blurry vision of a woman with light foundation on her face, who had entered the room and was now walking towards him.

The man sucked a deep breath in at the sight of this familiar yet distant face before him, and his eyes even widened slightly to take a clearer look at her.

It was not until she had gotten closer to him did he confirm her identify. Flashing an intoxicated smile at her, he called her name in surprise, "XinXin"
