With that realisation, the group of the reporters suddenly surged towards her in hopes of getting to her ahead of others. When she saw the horde of reporters rushing towards her with their big and small equipment, the expression on her face changed and she subconsciously took a stumbling step back.

Upon seeing this, a bodyguard stood protectively in front of her and blocked the reporters from approaching.

The guards sent by Jingyi Wang were highly skilled. With their competent training, they easily held off the paparazzi. In fact, just a few of them standing there menacingly with their hulking figures and deadly expression was enough to keep the reporters at bay.

He stepped out of his car and a few security men from the villa rushed over to protect him.

He walked towards the scene.

"Xiao li, I'm your fan. Can I take a picture with you?" One of the fans asked excitedly.

Xiao li heard this and her lips twisted subconsciously.

Where did these fans come from?

She had never acted in any movie before or went out as a celebrity, so where did they come from?

Seeing her reaction, the rest of the crowd surged forward as well. They hurled difficult questions and insinuation her that even the media has trouble asking.

"Xiao li, didn't you get killed by Jingyi Wang? Tell us why he spare you?"

Xiao li lips twisted uncontrollably.

"Are you really an item with Jingyi Wang? Do you like him?"

"Were you secretly dating him and didn't let the public know?"

Someone made an unkind speculation in the crowd. The person's voice was loud and clear.

If this girl didn't like him, she wouldn't have said those harsh words.

"Are you alright?" his voice was low and a little hoarse.

Upon hearing this, Xiao li was dumbstruck. Her mind was completely befuddled. Due to the sudden occurrence, her brain had short circuited, and she was unable to piece things together to understand what was going on.

The crowd was shocked into stillness, unable to wrap their heads around this scene in front of them.

When he rushed through the crowd earlier, everyone had noticed him in that instant. It was not anything else apart from the fact that he stood out in the crowd.

He was tall and straight, almost a shoulder taller than the woman in front of him. The latter was considered lanky for her height, yet she was easily dwarfed by him for reaching up to his chest level.

A well ironed white suit covered his fit body and his perfectly straight, long legs. A black jacket, long enough to reach his knees was draped on his shoulders. He had a scorching pretty and flirtatious aesthetic.

He was a combination of beauty and fine looks.

Right now, in his eyes, he had only Xiao li.

"Little Lili" he called out her name softly as he hugged her tightly.

At that moment, Xiao li was stunned. She looked at his face, "You..."

The man lowered his head and smiled at her, "Do you recognize me now?"
