Catherine who was pretending the entire time turned to face him after he made the outrageous promise to her.
"I will come with you but I advise that you don't go back on your words," Catherine said as she turned and approached where he parked his car.
Jeff sighed after she finally agreed to leave with him.
The journey from there to her apartment was very quiet. With her body leaning against the seat and her eyes closed he couldn't initiate a conversation even though he wanted to.
When he parked at her apartment parking space, he quickly got out of the car and went to open the door of the car for her.
He assisted her upstairs to her room.
"Wait here while I get you warm honey water to sober up," Jeff said as he stood up from where he squats and hurried to leave. Catherine held his hand and pull him back before he could leave.
"I am not drunk. I was only pretending to be drunk," Catherine said honestly, not letting go of his hand.
Jeff squats back when he heard her words. He stare into her eyes before he began talking.
"Erin, I know you were hurt by mum's words and that is why you are mad at me. But believe me, I never had an idea that mum said such hurtful words to you," Jeff said his eyes centred in hers.
"Although it was never my intention to have mum hurt you, I will make sure that mum doesn't harass you…,"
"And that is what I was afraid of. I don't want to be the reason why you and your mum relationship fall out," Catherine said letting go of his hand. Seeing that she was avoiding his stares Jeff stood up and sat beside her.
"Cat, I know you are a kind girl and don't want to see my relationship with mum suffer but Cat, I love you and I won't allow mum or anyone else come in between our relationship," Jeff said, sounding more serious than he has ever been.
"It's you and I who are in a relationship. It's I who is gonna be your husband so no one has the right to meddle in our business. Not even my mum has the right to stand in the way of our relationship," Jeff said sternly.
"Frey, I don't….,"
"Erin, I love you a lot and I can't wait to be your husband and this is why I don't want you to distance yourself from me. I can't stand being away from you so please let's go back to how we normally were? I promise I will be good to you huh," Jeff said affectionately as he raised his hand and caressed her face.
"Erin, please love me back as you did in the past. I promise to love and cherish you more than I did in the past. I will love you in a way that no man has ever done so please give me a second chance. I will make things right again, I swear," Jeff said with all sincerity. He silently prayed Catherine will not push him away like she has been doing for a month now.
"I love you, Frey. I have never stopped loving you but I will rather break up with you than see you and your mum…,"
"Cat, don't say such things. No one is breaking up with anyone. Mum doesn't like you now because she doesn't know you but believe me she will come around when she gets to know you more," Jeff said as he lets his right hand settle around her neck.
"Dad likes you a lot. He even asks me to bring you to visit home one of these days. I am sure he can't wait for us to tie the knot so we can give him cute little buns so won't you grant your future father-in-law his wishes," Jeff asked as he drew closer to her.
"Frey…,"
"Cat, since you love me how about we grant dad's wish a bit sooner?" Jeff said as he kissed her before she could decline his offer.
Jeff kissed her roughly yet the kiss was passionate enough to get both of them yearning for more.
Catherine managed to get back her senses before they could go all the way.
"Frey, that's enough," Catherine whose upper body was nude said as she mustered up all her strength to push Jeff's bare chest away.
"Erin, it's true mum doesn't like you but I am sure that will change if you give her what she has always wanted to have…,"
"And what is that?" Catherine asked amidst her desires. She struggled to stare sane with the way Jeff's fingers were doing some work underneath her skirt.
"She has always wanted grandchildren, so I am sure she and dad will dots on you if you give them little buns to keep them happy all day long," Jeff said as he twirl his fingers doing some work inside her entrance. Low groans escape from her mouth as she tried to balance herself properly on the couch.
"We are not married yet. My dad will kill you if I dare get myself pregnant without getting married so I ask that…,"
"He is not gonna kill anyone so relax because I won't do anything that will make father-in-law upset with me. We will get married before he learns about your pregnancy so let's make some babies without worrying about anything," Jeff said with his hoarse voice. He gently pushes Catherine into a lying position before he climbs onto her.
"I never agreed to marry you so what are talking about…,"
"You never agreed neither did you reject my proposal so I will take it as a yes," Jeff said before he bent and render soft kisses around her neck and chest region.
Jeff's touches made Catherine's body hot. Her groans grow louder each time he teases the places she loves.
