"Just let her be Cat because I have no time to waste on losers and jealous fools," Jasmine said loudly too as she made to leave but the annoying Jane yet again obstructed their path.

"Who is jealous? Me?" Jane said as she looked at her back pretending as though she did not know that Jasmine was referring to her.

"If there is someone who should be jealous between the two of us, it should be you and not me? You are the one whom everyone is calling a sl*t and a two-timer and here, I have never been on the news for anything bad. I am the role model of so many women in the City so I am sure you are jealous of me," Jane said pridefully.

"Who is the role model of women in the City?" Jasmine said pretending as though she was searching for someone. Catherine chuckled when she saw the fuming Jane.

"Instead of me wasting my precious time being jealous of a two-faced b*tch like you, I would rather spend it playing with men...,"

"Why act so proud and pompous, you are nothing but a seductress. You are a lady with no integrity...,"

"Do you even know the meaning of integrity?" Jasmine cut her short.

"And I am not ashamed of who I am. At least men prefer this seductress to a loser like you. Even your beloved Jackson thinks a seductress like me is better than you and this makes me happy instead of sad, do you know that?" Jasmine said grinning evilly. Seeing this annoying lady angry gives her a sense of joy.

"You...,"

"And should I tell you a secret?" Jasmine said as she bent slightly so that her mouth was close to Jane's right ear.

"The truth is Ice Prince taste fantastic in bed. He is just my type of man. Ooh, why am I even telling you this when you haven't tasted him before. I totally forgot that he doesn't let you come an inch close to him," Jasmine said grinning wickedly.

The moment she pulled away she brushed against Jane and passed. Catherine also left the ladies alone.

"I swear I will kill her," Jane said as she turned and shot Jasmine a murderous glance.

"Jane, don't forget to compose yourself because people are staring. She purposely said whatever she did to make you flare-up, don't let her succeed in ruining your perfect image," Rose said in low tones as she held Jane by the hand and led her out of the restaurant. Catherine did not utter a word to Jasmine about the incident that occurred earlier. She waited until they had both finished their meals.

"Jasmine, I haven't seen Jackson around you since after the news, are you both perhaps fighting? " Catherine asked curiously.

"It would have been better if we were fighting since I am sure he would be done everything to appease me," Jasmine said absent-mindedly. Her words made Catherine even more curious to know what happened between the two of them.

"What do you mean by that. I couldn't follow what you were trying to say so explain hmm," Catherine urged her on.

"He has been ignoring me for over a week now. When I was locked up by my father because of the previous incident I called him because I was worried about him but can you believe that he hung up the call on me without giving me the chance to speak?" Jasmine relayed painfully.

"I have tried to contact him after father returned my cellphone to me and each time he always ignored my calls. He is avoiding me and I don't know what to do," Jasmine concluded in a helpless tone.

"What exactly did you do or say to him to make him treat you this way? Although I haven't known Jackson as long as I know you, one thing I am certain of is that he will never ignore you for just no reason. Tell me what you said to him to make me act this way because that is the only way I will be able to help you," Catherine said seriously.

"After the incident father had dragged me back home but Ice Prince had secretly followed us. He appeared out of nowhere to shield me when father wanted to slap me for the second time. I don't know what took over me, in the presence of father and mum I boldly declared that Ice Prince was the one I love...,"

"You did what?" Catherine asked in total bewilderment. She did not expect to hear that Jasmine would boldly declare in her parents' presence that she loved Jackson.

"Father stopped scolding me after I said those words. I had escorted him out of the house afterwards. Outside I ended up telling him that I don't love him neither do I have feelings for him. I told him that I only used him. Even when he asked me whether I have any ounce of feelings for him. I still repeated what I said...,"

"How could you say such hurtful words to him. Although I am not the one you said those words to, I feel hurt on his behalf," Catherine did not support what she did.

"Are you going to keep on blaming me? I thought you said you would help me...,"

"Jasmine, do you seriously have no feelings for Jackson? You are not the least attracted to him neither has your heart ever flutters because of him?" Catherine asked curiously before Jasmine could complete her sentence.

"Why are you asking me those questions? " Jasmine asked looking very flustered.

"That's because my dad said my cousin is planning to come to live with me for a couple of days. Jackson is her type of man so I am planning to introduce her to Jackson since you said you have no interest in him....,"

"You wouldn't dare?" Jasmine said fiercely. Catherine smiled when she saw Jasmine's reaction.
