Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"Aren't you gonna say something?" Jackson asked when he saw how dumbfounded his words have left the woman sitting beside him.

"Jasmine, is there no duration to how long one can take to think about the sentence to construct?" Catherine asked curiously.

"Fifteen seconds," Jasmine announced.

"Does that mean you lost....,"

"The duration was not set so how could you say she lost, Jane?" Jeff attacked the lady whom he thought deliberately wanted Jasmine to drink alcohol. Jane frowned when she saw that Jeff butt in to defend Jasmine.

"If that is the case this means Jackson has to start over right?" Alfred interjected.

"Sure, I don't mind restarting," Jackson said as he turned and stare into her eyes. People had thought he would change his sentence but alas, he shocked everyone with his sentence again.

"I love you, Jasmine," Jackson said in a very serious tone while talking to her.

I never expected that Young Master Jackson will outrightly confess his feelings for Jasmine in front of everyone. Jasmine has always been the first to realise others feelings but I am certain that with her zero EQ, she will not know that Jackson's words contain his true feelings for her.

Elizabeth thought her gaze glued on her flabbergasted sister.

"Jasmine is beautiful," Jasmine finally said before it could exceed the set time.

"Beautiful is an understatement to describe how pretty you are," Jeff sitting beside her said while facing Catherine.

Catherine could not resist smiling when she heard Jeff's sweet words. She afterwards turned to face Steve who was next in line.

"Are you in love with her?" Catherine asked staring at Steve. With the last word ending with 'Her', Steve could not quickly come up with a sentence. Just when his time was about to elapsed he spoke up.

"Her curvaceous body drives me insane," Steve hurriedly said. Evelyn's head went blank the moment she heard that the word INSANE was his last words. She could not think of any sensible sentence to construct with the word so she ended up opening the floor of the drinking of the alcoholic wine Jasmine had prepared. The others also couldn't construct a sentence using insane so they all ended up drinking.

Jackson who was lucky enough to be the one to always start began his sentence with ease.

"You are an angel," Jackson said making sure to stare into her eyes. Even those who never suspected that he loved Jasmine all became suspicious because of his actions and words.

"Angel only exists in heaven," Jasmine said staring at Jackson instead of staring at Jeff. Anyways there was no rule that state that you have to stare at the next person before you could speak that is why nobody could caution her.

"Heaven is the home of immortals," Jeff said and as usual while looking at Catherine.

"Immortals are hot," Catherine said while smiling.

"Hot is you," Steve said beaming at Evelyn. Everyone chuckled when they heard Steve's words.

"Your friend sure has a way of telling his inner feelings. I never knew that Steve was shameless before Evelyn's arrival but I have got to see that shameless side of him every day since Evelyn came back," Jasmine whispered into Jackson's ears. Jackson smiled when he heard her words. He could sense that she was still upset about the scene she met Steve and Evelyn at earlier.

"Every human has a shameless side and I am sure you are gonna witness mine more often but don't worry I won't scare you away with my shameless side," Jackson said teasingly. He could not resist smiling when he saw Jasmine abruptly pulled away from him following what he said. They both brought back their attention to the game afterwards.

"You are obnoxious," Evelyn said while looking at Jane. Jane who was getting ready to make a sentence frowned when she heard Evelyn's comment. Apart from the fact that she could not come up with any good sentence, she disliked the fact that Evelyn outrightly called her obnoxious in the presence of everyone especially with Jackson around.

After Jane had her portion of the wine, smart Alfred was able to save his wife from drinking when he came up with a good sentence that made everyone proud of him.

"She is the only one for me," Kai ended that round with these beautiful words while staring at Jasmine.

Jasmine isn't yours but mine in this lifetime, the earlier you start accepting this fact the better for you Kai because I won't give her up for any reason. Not even friendship or family relations can stop me from feeling the way I am feeling for her.

Jackson thought with gritted teeth. In the past, he and Kai were on good terms but everything changed the minute he learned that Kai was the man Mr Avans has arranged to be his second daughter's husband. His hatred for Kai surged after the news of Kai and Jasmine's engagement became public.

How on earth would he be cool with the man who is at the brink of snatching his first and only true love away from him?

He lost his sense of reasoning the moment he saw the pictures of the two of them in the newspaper with the announcement of their engagement.

"I adore you," Jackson said in a gentle tone.

Jackson's words keep giving me goosebumps, why is that? Why is he saying such amazing words to me while looking into my eyes? Is this personal or is it just a game for him? His words and actions are getting me all confused, someone should please put an end to my confusion.

Jasmine thought while staring at Jackson. She completely forgot that her time was ticking.

"Jasmine, come on say something or you are gonna end up drinking the wine. You know how naughty you act when you are drunk, I am sure you don't want to show your brother-in-law your naughty side right?" Jackson who realised that she was in a trance said touching her on her bare shoulders.

"You are amazing," Jasmine who just came out of her trance blurted out. Jackson smiled when he saw that she has beaten the time.

"Naughty, I can't believe you made me anxious for nothing. I was anxious about what scene you were gonna make after you got intoxicated," Jackson said as he pats her hair to the awe of everyone.

"Jack is surely gonna give us poor souls a heart attack if he continues acting so cute without giving us any warnings," Steve muttered smiling at his best friend. He could not believe that Jackson has begun publicly displaying his feelings for Jasmine.

"Amazing is the first word that came to my mouth when I set my eyes on you today," Jeff said smiling. Everyone could see Catherine blush after Jeff completed his sentence.

"Cat, I am sure you must be having butterflies hearing all these Pretty boy flirtatious words. I wonder why he never said such sweet words to me despite that we have known each other longer than he knows you," Jasmine said playfully. Her words and funny expression made everyone laughed.

"That is because you are not the one he is in love with?" Steve and Evelyn chorused the same words. Those who knew that this was Jasmine's trick to make Catherine missed the time so she can drink the alcohol eagerly waited to see whether Catherine will fall into her best friend's scheme.

Catherine on realising that she was short on time and this was all because her friend, decided to say whatever came to her mind.

"Today, let's make love to each other," Catherine blurted out without thinking. Everyone covered their mouth in shock when they heard Catherine's blatant confession. Their reaction showed that they never in a million years expected Catherine to say those words. No one was saved from the shock. Even Jane who acted like she did not like the game was stunned because of the lady's confidence in saying those words.

For the sake of the other team, Jackson paused the timer. They were in dire need of time to digest those words.

"Hahaha...," Jasmine the sole reason for making Catherine make such confession break out in a peal of deafening laughter. Her laughter was so contagious, almost everyone ended up laughing along with her.

"Haha... Cat did you see your expression when you said, 'Today let's make love to each other'. It was hilarious," Jasmine said resuming her laughter again. She intended to make Catherine drink, she could not believe that she tricked the ever cold Catherine into saying her inner feelings.

"This happened because of you. You tricked me," Catherine said not knowing what else to say to justify her shameless words.

"Yeah, Jasmine how could you cruelly trick your best friend like that? That was very mean of you," Steve pretended like he was scolding Jasmine. The expression on his face while talking was so obvious that he was suppressing his silent laughter.
