Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"Let's talk about...,"

"The last time you take a picture without knowing that you had smeared your lipstick? Can you tell us how beautiful you looked when you looked at the picture and realised that your lipstick was badly smeared and not only that but you also recall that so many people saw you that way before you took the picture?" Jasmine interrupted her sharply. With the way she talked and acted those at the table could see that she was ready for the lady who thinks that she is smart.

"If that one is not interesting how about we talked about the last time you puked your guts out after drinking because you were too upset to accept reality?" Jasmine asked directly attacking the once confident lady whose expression has now turned awkward.

Jasmine's words made her recall the last time she confesses her feelings to Jackson. The indifferent look on his face when he rejected her had made her drank her heart out that day. He has rejected her so many times but the last one was the most painful. She had cried her heart out that day. Because of the too much alcohol, she consumed she ended up vomiting on herself and the white tiled floor. Thank goodness her parents were not back from their business trip when that happened. She wouldn't have known how to face them after the mess she made out of herself.

"Is that one not important or interesting enough?" Jasmine asked seeing how uncomfortable the lady has become.

She likes ridiculing others right? I haven't even started yet and she is acting this way, I wonder whether she will bury her head in shame if I said my ultimate words.

Jasmine thought as she glared at Jane.

"How about we talk about our last kiss or the last time we had sex?" Steve said to the shock of the others.

"Let's start with you, Catherine," Steve said holding back his laughter when he saw Catherine's flustered look.

"It looks like you can't recall the last time you kiss so how about I move to Jeff, I am sure he has a lot to say," Steve said smiling inwardly.

"Steve, can you stop teasing my best friend? You will have to face me if you continue bullying her in my presence," Jasmine cautioned when she saw how uncomfortable Steve's words have made Catherine become.

"Jasmine, how about we leave these two talkative alone. I might end up hitting one of them if they continue messing with my head," Jackson whispered into Jasmine's ears to the jealousy of Jane.

The way Jasmine was relating with the three guys made men staring at them wonder whether this was the same Jasmine Avans, the renowned Great Seducer they all know.

Some of the men refused to believe that it was her because of how friendly she was treating the guys.

The Jasmine Avans they know is the enemy of all men. They believe she was born to torture men. A person like her can never change, they have drawn this conclusion a long time ago which is why they didn't want to believe this strange being who is the opposite of Jasmine Avans is the same lady they all know.

"I permit you to hit them including your fiance. The guys are messing with my head but she is messing with my nerves. I am afraid I might just stand up and bite off her ears if she upsets me just one more time," Jasmine whispered back into his ears.

Mrs Smith who has been watching them from her seat frowned when she saw how close her son who dislikes women was with this lady she had heard so much about.

"Then let's go out for some fresh air. I believe when we come back it will be time for dance," Jackson said as he stood up. Jasmine also did likewise.

"Jack, mum wants to talk to you. She said it's urgent," Jane who has been sitting there all this while knew that it was time to pass a message when Jackson wanted to leave with Jasmine. Her trick was too obvious for even the lamest person in the world to see through.

"No matter how urgent it is, the message can wait," Jackson said coldly before he and Jasmine approached the exit. The furious Jane clasped her fists. She felt like scattering something or hitting the table to relieve her anger but she controlled herself.

What is so special about her that he always follows her about?

Jane thought before she stood up and leave. Her reason for sitting there has left so why should she remain there?

"The last time you talked about her, it felt like you would go to the extent of plunging the stars for her but you are treating her quite coldly today, I wonder what she did to make you so upset to this point," Jasmine commented as they both find their way out of the large hall.

"Because she tried to bully someone she shouldn't have ever tried bullying," Jackson said with a carefree expression as they walk out of the hall finally.

"I wonder who is this someone she shouldn't have dared bullied that she did," Jasmine said nonchalantly.

"Where are we going to?" Jasmine asked as she turned and stare at him.

"Their rooftop is quite pretty so let's go have some fresh air there. I am sure you will love it there," Jackson said as he grabbed her hand. He made to walk away but Jasmine didn't budge.

"Why are you staring at me like that...,"

"I should be asking you that. Why are you so nice to me lately? You no longer use that cold tone with me. You tend to do what I want and you are so gentle. Am I the one who changed you or are you acting this way because your fiance is back?" Jasmine asked staring at Jackson who was still holding her hand.

"I have always been nice to you, don't tell me you are just noticing it?" Jackson asked as he let go of her and approach the location of the elevator.
