Master's Untamed Wife

Chapter 1352 Throw Her Out

Chapter 1352  Throw Her Out

Madam Lin Qiao really seemed to be broken as she looked up with a weird creepy smile on her face and said to Mu Chenyan, “That dead bitch raised a little bitch like you. What can anyone expect from her or from you? I said that back then I’d say it again, she didn’t teach you any manners. Or you were just unteachable from the very beginning. You can’t even respect your mother-in-law, what else can one expect from you.”

“Respect is always a matter of give and take. If you won’t give me the respect I deserve as your daughter-in-law, how can you expect some respect from me? You are hoping for too much. But it’s enough to show my respect that I haven’t punched you in the face yet even when clearly are disrespecting the woman I respect the most in this world,” was Mu Chenyan’s response.

“So what if I disrespect her?” retorted Lin Qiao. “Is she gonna come out of her grave to confront me? No, she can’t do it. Even if she could, I highly doubt she would do it for you. You, who took her life.”

Mu Chenyan clenched her hands until her veins protruded. It was visible to anyone how mad she was right now.

Lin Qiao continued, “What? Do you wanna argue or deny it again? But this time you can’t do that. Do you wanna know why? Because it’s already a fact you can’t deny anymore. You have to accept my words. I said you’re like a curse to the people around you years ago and I stand by my words. Your oh-so-respectful godmother hit me for those words but now what? She also died loving you. Do you wanna take my son’s life too? Anyone who loves you is always met with bad luck. You want to take my son down too but I won’t allow this. I’ll never let you be in his life.”

Hearing those words from her, everyone’s expressions changed around her. Even Dr. Cai who had nothing to do with this situation felt a bit ticked off by those words. She tsked to herself as she commented, “Your mother really knows how to make cheap shots. I did not expect this.”

Saying that she took out her phone and sent a message to someone.

Mu Chenyan didn’t respond to her this time. She just stared at her for a long time in silence while Xia Zhao moved from behind her with his eyes filled with rage right now. He did not expect his mother to go that low just to win in an argument. His impression of his mother was once again refreshed and he didn’t know if he was really surprised or he had expected this much from her.

“Mind your words, mother!” said Xia Zhao.

“What?” shot back Lin Qiao. “Did I say anything wrong? I don’t think so. Ask her. Am I wrong? She knows it deep down that I am right. She is nothing more than a bad luck. Those who loved her were the real unfortunate ones because all she brought them was a downfall that led straight to their deaths.”

Before Xia Zhao could continue to argue with her, Mu Chenyan held his hand to stop him. She sighed at Lin Qiao, “You know, I have never been able to understand why you’re so bitter in life. But I guess, it’s only because you have never been satisfied with what you had and always had your eyes on what others had. Your cheap comments only show how cheap your mind is. It won’t affect me. I am not that easily broken. I don’t really want to even stand here and talk to you because it’s making me question my own intelligence for even wanting to spend my time on a mentally challenged person like you. You can never get better. There is really no salvation for you.”

Lin Qiao harrumphed arrogantly, “I don’t need any salvation. You should worry about yourself. You who has come back to haunt my son’s life like a black cloud! I’d never let you succeed! You cheap hoof! You’re the real mentally challenged one here!”

“I highly doubt that!” came a authoritative and aged voice from the end of the corridor. Soon, everyone could see an old man walking over towards them with a dozen people following him.

Mu Chenyan looked at her Uncle Gou Danhong and then turned to looked at Dr. Cai who shrugged her shoulders in response. Mu Chenyan closed her eyes as she didn’t want to escalate things. But then again, she didn’t start it and neither did she escalate it. So, no one could blame her for it.

“Uncle!” called out Mu Chenyan in a small voice.

Old Man Gou Danhong gave her a glance and shook his head at her, “So you do know I’m your uncle? Why don’t you call this when you need him?”

“I didn’t think I did,” was Mu Chenyan’s very honest answer to his question. She was used to being one man army. When had she ever felt the need to call anyone for a backup or help? That wasn’t even her last thought. Seeing how her uncle stared down at Lin Qiao who had went silent seeing him, she spoke again, “I can handle this on my own.”

“Stay quiet!” said Gou Danhong angrily to her and then looked at Lin Qiao once again. “You know what. I don’t think there is a need for me to even spent a minute on you. Talking is useless with you anyone. Mental patients should stay in the mental hospital. I don’t allow them to roam in my hospital threatening the safety of our patients and the visitors. Take her out of here.” He was speaking to the security team that was following him. “What have you all been waiting for? Throw her out of here right this instant!”

Lin Qiao stared at Gou Danhong in surprise as she did not expect that he’d treat her like this. After all, she was friends with his wife but now, he was actually insulting her like this in front of so many people. Especially in front of that Mu Chenyan!
