If you are gonna purposely go in front of the sleeping tiger and annoy him, what are you expecting? Your mother should have known better before going up to mess with that she-devil over there. And if she doesn’t know any better, then you should. If you took a step closer, you are gonna get the burnt of this too.” With that, she let his wrist go. “The choice is up to you. I already warned you that Mu Chenyan is anything but patient and gentle.”
Xia Hao wanted to do something but he stopped once he looked into Mu Chenyan’s eyes. Those chilled eyes told him that Dr. Cai was right. If he really moved, he’d be the next victim.
